Worst hamburger my wife and I have experienced. Had a funny sage like taste and kind of tastes like it was cooked on a grill that had just cooked fish. Would not got back. In addition to the odd taste the price was rather high for the serving

Very expensive for the amount of food you get. It is supposed to be all natural non-gmo. Pretty limited menu. Although it has some items that you just won’t find in any other place around here. My 2 stars is based on the value of the meal.

Had the hotdog — Dank, Dirty, and Drunk with Spicy KY Bourbon Barrel Ale and a burger with regular KY Bourbon Barrel Ale Beer Cheese! Yummy!!! Staff was friendly and warm, like eating with friends! Can’t wait to go back(hopefully with a beer the next time!)

Absolutely the best burger in America! Including from my kitchen! And that’s saying a lot! Live music, beautiful happy people! What a great place! And it’s not a mile to the interstate I75, walking distance for me! Locally sourced organic awesomeness!

The Village Trough is a great place to gather with your friends and enjoy some healthy and predominantly local food. The restaurant just opened late this fall but they still provide live music every Friday night. The menu is simple but it does provide vegetarian and gluten free options. The Village Trough source all of their meat locally so it is the best place to have a local grass fed burger or hot dog. If you are not feeling meat for the day they provide two soups of the day as well homemade black bean burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches. I live nearby the Village Trough so I can proudly say I have tried almost everything on the menu and the food is exquisite. If you are like me and love eating local food that is made with love then this is the best place to eat in Berea hands down. They also feature locally produced pastries from Clementines bakery. This restaurant also serves as a meeting place for local community events as they work in their mission to strengthen the community of small town Berea. If you haven’t been down to check it out and meet the lovely the folks that own and run this cooperative restaurant I suggest you come on down and check out the best restaurant in Berea!

I was a little hesitant to go to a restaurant without any reviews but soon found out they just opened. Menu is simple and mostly gluten free. It was a good day for a grilled cheese sandwich and soup as the temperature was in the 30s. The hamburger and hotdog was the only standard fare found in other restaurants. Order food from the counter then they bring it out to you. Food came out fast and hot. No soft drinks other than ginger-ale. Still working out the kinks as a new business.
