This review is solely based on customer service, and not on quality of work, as unfortunately we never got to that phase. My experience with contractors has been middling at best, and Bay Area Pacific Construction is no exception. They started out promising, providing a bid within a timely manner, and generally answering my questions within a few days give or take. But when it came time to move forward with the job, they disappeared. I was told they would work with me on materials, and then never heard back. I followed up with phone calls and emails, and still nothing. I guess my green is not worth as much as others. Very disappointing.

Emanuel and his brother remodeled two bathrooms for us. They did a thorough job, all work to code, successfully contained the demo mess, and completed the job in a timely manner. They are a family business and do most of the work themselves. They are affordable and great to work with! We love our bathrooms!

I found Alin and BAPC when I needed a contractor to rebuild a deck for a rental home.
His bid wasn’t the lowest or the highest… what set him apart from ALL the other contractors was his communication. Starting with his bid which was VERY detailed on materials, type of construction and schedule. After giving him the job the great communicating continued. He was able to start earlier than planned (so the deck could be finished before July 4th) and all through the process he kept me posted with photos and email. In the end we had a beautiful new deck, on time and on budget. It just doesn’t get any better than that! I highly recommend, without reservation, calling Bay Area Pacific Construction for a good general Contractor.

Alan did a great job on our kitchen, bath and laundry room. He was here every day and met each spec in the contract. They cleaned up each day and protected the living space from dust and debris. My kitchen cabinets, tile, and fixtures look great. Alan lives up to ‘high quality service for an affordable price’. I am really pleased with the results. I don’t think you’ll beat their proposal.

We hired this company 9⁄08 for work at our residence. Kitchen remodel; 2 bathroom remodels; electrical work including recessed/​canned lighting throughout and panel upgrade; and drywalling of our garage all for the cost of what Home Depot and several other construction company bids were for the kitchen alone.
Excellent work to code, good communication, very clean/​neat, respectful of your home, meticulous work indicative of craftsman-​like passion and old-​world pride, plus they finished the job over 2 weeks ahead of schedule! We cannot recommend this company enough and are happy to give references.
