I went with my father to see George Montalvo after a guitar he purchased was damaged during shipping. My father is incredibly passionate about classical guitar, having played and studied for over 50 years. He decided to drive the nearly five hundred miles to meet this sincere, knowledgeable man who for 39 years has supplied musicians with affordable and skillfully crafted instruments. His original order was for a facsimile of an Antonio Torres, but he tested an Ignacio Fleta, a big-​voiced guitar that evolved from the Torres and, thanks to the generousity and helpfullness of the owner, he was able to take that beauty home with him.
My father is beyond satisfied. Thanks also to William for your help and patience. This has brought my father so much joy and we are both very grateful.
