If I were more of a coffee drinker, I would definitely come here more often for their Bianca Mocha. I like the vibe of this unique café and I remember the outside of the café really stood out to me the first time I visited Berkeley. The patio is nice when the weather is warmer, but it kind of sucks when you’re trying to study and the wind is trying to blow away all your papers. Since the indoor venue is really small, it is a lot harder to find seats inside compared to outside, so this isn’t my ideal place for studying. The patio is definitely a good place to grab a drink and have a coffee chat once in a while.

This is probably my favorite café in Berkeley! The scenery is beautiful and it’s always full of life. I always stop by to purchase their Strada Bianca Mocha, which is by far my favorite drink there. If you’re someone who enjoys more milk than coffee, then the Strada Bianca Mocha is for you. I personally can’t handle the taste of dark coffee. They’re pastries are also yummy, you can never go wrong with one of their banana nut muffins. It’s enough to satisfy your hunger after studying, but only if you’re up for a small treat. Overall, I enjoy the cozy environment and warm mochas that keep me warm during Berkeley’s Winters.

Very nice quality café to study and get work done. Can’t wait to spend more time here. I tried out the Expresso B. Not so bad

Bought a yummy a hot matcha green tea and sugar cookie, everything was delish and reasonably priced. The only downside was that it was busy, I guess it’s to be expected in a college town. Check it out if your ever in the neighborhood!

I came here at the end of winter. The white flowers were on bloom on a gentle breeze as the sun was fading out. The decaf mocha I ordered was delicious. But that wasn’t my only excuse to sit outside.

I get lattes here often. I like that there is nearly every known flavor of syrup. I do wish the expresso was a little more bold – sometimes the syrup overpowers the drink. The mochas are a bit too sweet for me but I know many who enjoy them. Lots of seating, but it’s often busy – usually I can still find a space if I want to meet someone for coffee. Lots of happy memories here.

Came here with super high hopes, and was not impressed. On a Saturday morning around 9:30am, it wasn’t too busy, but had a steady stream of people. Street parking was easy to find, though Later in the afternoon I imagine it would become difficult. My first impression was the pretty space, especially the outdoor patio. Picturesque, even. I’ve passed by here a lot, and always wanted to try it. I have to say though, the service was absolutely horrible. The woman behind the counter was straight up rude, and it took forever to get my coffee. Everyone raved about the Bianca mocha, so I figured I’d give it a try. It wasn’t bad, but it was nothing to write home about. I’m generally a fan of bold coffee, and this had very little flavor(aside from the sugar). Prices are decent, Wifi here is steady, and if you can look past the bad service and so-so drinks, the atmosphere is nice, and it seems like a great place to study.

Standard coffee shop! Nothing special. The service was quick considering how busy it was

I really like the environment. Great place for study and hanging out with friends. But I’m not a fan of their coffees. I tried cappuccino and latte, but either of them seems to lack the coffee taste that I like. But maybe it’s just me, and I’m a fan of Starbucks… Anyway, their desserts are really good. Worth a try in a warm afternoon :)

Been coming a long time. Pretty good drinks. Baristas might seem standoffish at first but are very friendly once you get to know them. Wifi can be a little slow as its a hotspot for students and professors to do work and hang out. As a spot to hang out, its our go to: great layout, open late and on holidays and lively. Only thing is. wish they had more food options.
Sometimes hit or miss when it comes to drinks — Strada definitely is the coffee shop that has proven the many ways mochas can be served. But Strada will always be closer to campus than Starbucks. Always. And that’s the type of consistency I look for when it comes to campus coffee shops. Also, for the(far to frequent) nights when you need to douse yourself in a vat of iced coffee in order to make it through that pesky Econometrics problem set, Strada’s generous hours will be there to save the day.

Seriously good coffee. Stopped here last night, Berkley campus. The place was packed with students n chess players. Not much in terms of food — standard café food, but a great hangout spot.

Café mocha Bianca is pretty smooth and creamy! Lots of variety on the menu for drinks, Italian soda, juice, pastries but not savories The outdoor patio is super nice, lots of open tables to hangout and study. One negative is the bathroom in the back, if you are a dude it’s ok. Not the cleanest for a girl though.

I come here all the time because they are open until midnight, and they have free wi-fi which extends to the extremely cute patio areas around Caffe Strada. They also have outlets along the outer perimeter of the patio, which is great! I just wish they had more food options. They don’t have any real food, and very slim pickings for pastries or desserts. The drinks are also not that great. We tend to go on Thursday nights, and the place is always packed with UCB kids studying, or socializing. It is right next to the Berkeley campus, so it is a popular study spot due to the late hours. Although it’s always crowded, there’s plenty of seating so we’ve never had much trouble finding a spot.

This café is pretty amazing considering the wifi isn’t terrible, they have a good amount of seats(that are usually filled but it gives me hope) and the fizzy green tea macha is very good. I have yet to find an outlet but I usually come knowing I’ll be sitting outside. I like to come early when its warmer out but its good to know that theyre open later as well.

Caffe Strada is one of my favorite coffee shops by the Cal campus. Service is always friendly and lightning fast!(…makes me wonder why it takes so long at Peet’s and Starbucks?!?) Mocha always comes out perfect and has tons of foam. It’s not too sweet either! They now accept credit cards too! $ 3.25 for a Mocha.

Absolutely adore the outdoor seating. Even with tons of students there’s usually a nice corner table you can sit and relax at. Heat lamps make even cold nights bearable. Ordered the Strada Bianca Mocha(white mocha) as recommended by my fellow Unilocalers and was not disappointed. Just the right amount of sweetness and dreamy creamy milk, yum! Except I asked for it in a mug and still got it in a paper cup. Also, the young lady at the register is a little odd. She seems very impatient and rushes along every customer. Then she yells out orders. literally yelling at customers. A little off putting but still a lovely place. I will be back!

I don’t like studying here. I don’t like the pastries. The only thing I get is iced coffee. The pastries are not as fresh as the ones through peets coffee in Dwinelle. I think the café bianca is decent here sometimes it can be a bit sweet depending on who makes it. My friend loves the carrot cake here.

I’m not sure why I didn’t start studying here until recently. Strada is a million times better than Milano! Why? Because the wi-fi actually works and it’s fast too! In terms of seating, you’ll most likely be sitting outside. Unfortunately on cold or rainy days, this place is not going to be the ideal place to study. Bathrooms — pretty gross and smelly. I’d recommending just going onto campus or Unit 1.
