These guys did a fantastic job, and were really quick with the repair!
I called them a while back to ask about second hand phones they have for sale. The had a nice selection it sounded like over the phone. A few Iphone 4’s, 5’s, and 5S’s.
And, prices seemed really reasonable. But I never made it down to their shop. I made due with an older phone i had stowed away in a drawer.
This time I needed my glass screen fixed on my other iphone 5.
I love my Iphone 5. I dropped it within the first few weeks I had it. It survived the drop pretty well, only had one minor crack on the front glass. But, Ive been living with this blemish for a long while.
Then, just recently I closed the hood of my car on the phone! Arg! DOH!
it was pretty much toast. broken glass everywhere (you know the song)
And, the bits of glass would get all in my fingers.
So, being the cheapskate that I am, I bought a repair kit and parts on ebay.
I did a fairly good job switching out the LCD screen, but got to a part in the process, where things weren’t quite working correctly, took it apart again, and it just got more complicated. It turns out I broke a few other things in the process.
Phone ended up totally not working. Bummer.
So, I called these guys and they were willing to have me bring it in right away and have it completed within the same day. I couldn’t believe it.
I brought it in at about 3−4pm and they had it completely and working properly by 7pm!
And, it works great and everything functions properly.
I am VERY pleased with their service and can’t recommend these guys enough!
Pricing was VERY reasonable and service was quick. $ 90 to replace the screen. Checked it out before on Bay Street and a vendor there wanted $ 150! Also, another $ 30 for the other part that I ripped. $ 120 out the door. Great price. Better than the Bay Street vendor.
They also have unlocked phones. Smartest thing you can do is buy an unlocked phone and put it on a cheaper network! save some dough.
