We worked with Jesus many times over the 11 years we lived in North Oakland. The original project was a big one — re-​grade our entire back yard, put in french drains, build a sizable deck, and rebuild our perimeter fence. Not only was each job done to perfection, but it was done quickly — for the lowest bid we got! We couldn’t believe our luck in finding Jesus and his team. They even re-​imagined our deck concept, giving us a much better (more spacious and nicer design) deck than we’d hoped for. We ended up having his team care for our gardening needs for the ensuing 10 years, and doing occasional jobs along the way. Always done on time, for a low price, and with a courteous team. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Jesús Martinez is the kind of contractor who understands what you want in spite of your lame gesticulations and strained, esoteric explanations.
Jesús transformed our yard, solving in a day or two issues we had dealt with unsuccessfully for nine years. I know his work contributed to the high sale price and number of offers we achieved for our home.
He and his crew also happen to be talented carpenters. By adding on a beautiful horizontal redwood lattice extension to our existing fence, they completely ameliorated the view from our cottage deck. It created a trompe-l’œil effect which significantly increased the privacy of our back yard and removed neighboring eyesores, while also somehow making our interior laundry room/​mud room feel 50% larger due to the window view onto the back yard!!! Kind of amazing.
He makes a huge difference, with minimal input from you, at a reasonable cost, and responsive and flexible scheduling.
Another contractor I want to fly across the country to consult on our home, when next we purchase there.
So nice to find good home & garden professionals, and another name I’m only giving out because he deserves recognition and I can’t take him with me.
