I made an appointment to discuss some concerns. My appointment was supposed to be at 11:15, but I wasn’t seen until an hour later, at which point I was seen for 10 minutes and my concerns were downplayed and dismissed. I wouldn’t normally write a bad review for just wasting a bunch of my time, but Dr. Lin decided to charge me $ 350 for this, in addition to recommending some useless blood work that took another 45 minutes of my time and cost $ 137.54.

My OB for my last pregnancy was so bad that I was a little nervous to have another baby as far as the medical appointment component. But, my faith in the profession has been restored! It is very easy to make appointments either online or by calling in, and the staff is courteous, efficient and professional. Lonnie herself is smart, punctual and easy to talk to. She always lets me know what the next step will be. I am so pleased that I found her(referred by a trusted friend).

I DONOTRECOMMEND Lonnie Lin and her office. They simply mismanaged my appointment andit has been a pain since I’ve gone to her. I’m also going to review on the Amy Huibonia site just so people know how terrible it has been and AVOID going. 1) The receptionist was curt and seemed annoyed at my presence. Lonnie Lin seemed distracted throughout the meeting, and never warned me that the biopsy procedure may be extremely painful until i was in the office. Since I didn’t have time to make another appointment, I didn’t have time to prepare myself(aka, take painkillers) and went through with the procedure. I felt uncomfortable the entire time. She is not easy going. She is not a good physician. 2) They didn’t follow up on my procedure. She said they would call in 2 weeks; no call came. Apparently, they left a single voice message — which I never got. But worse, 3) The office never informed me that the procedure would cost an additional $ 193. That’s a lot of money suddenly ask for! In fact, I didn’t know of this bill until over 3 months AFTER the procedure! AND, 4) I only learned of this bill after it was already overdue. Nobody emailed me or contacted me. Instead, I get an email telling me there is a billing matter. I go to a website and set up a pin number — which then notifies me that they’ve been emailing my account, which I never visited and never knew about, since I had to set up a pin number and all that. 5) Their website is Useless. I couldn’t access the website( ) at night. When I was able to access it to try and pay the amount I owed, the transaction doesn’t go through. lastly, 6) Their billing system is terrible. I called their office, got the voicemail, transferred to billing — and then got transferred to yet another voice message telling me to call someone else. Are you serious?! Is no one working? I’m trying to pay the fee that they never told me about, and I have to jump through hoops to pay. It’s been three days, and I’m still trying to pay that fee. It’s ridiculous. I will never go to her again.

I highly, highly recommend Dr. Lin. Before I had my 1st child, I was on the hunt for a new ob/gyn when I just happened to stumble upon Dr. Lin. After baby #2, I am still extremely(!) happy that Dr. Lin is my physician. In fact, when she changed practices in 2012 I followed her to her new practice. What I enjoy most about Dr. Lin(besides her meticulous medical skills) is her easy-going personality. With my previous ob/gyns they were all extremely uptight which did not put me at complete ease when discussing any medical questions/needs I had. With Dr. Lin this is the complete opposite: it’s like chatting with a girlfriend who happens to have a medical degree and can deliver a baby in a pinch.
