Phở me now, I miss you so much. I just wanted to let you know. Did I not tell you enough how much I loved you, and how important you were to me? I never complained that you showed up to my door at midnight. I never asked where you had been In fact, that’s what I liked so much about you… I could count on you turning up late. I know, you’re off with your new friends now. You’ve got a great job, everyone tells you how cool you are, driving all your speedy little cars, and I’m sure that feels good. But listen, never forget who got you there. Hey, no hard feelings, just come back! We can make it work!

oh man. i just got me a load of this shit and it was fantastic. first off, the fucking pot sticker units? out of this god damned world. dipping that shit in the chili sauce was like having 500 orgasms at the same time. hella cash. then i had this sandwich. god damn this sandwich. i chug like, a gallon of chili’d shit a day and this fucking sandwich made me tear up. in fact. as soon as i finished this sandwich, i stopped to write this review. i felt the whole world should know. i could sense it might be important. this sandwich was 5 star A+ material. would buy again. five stars. 100% great job. PS edit: i just finished the pork with rice unit. i dumped all the left over chili sauce on that shit. also, there was a fucking egg roll in there! egg roll was like, super dope. had it’s own sauce; dumped the rest of that on the rice with the pork units. all in all the combination was an elegant flow of flavors. each course to the next offered it’s own array of carefully crafted and augmented members of a meal. to eat them in order was to experience a symphony of flavors; each gently orchestrating your taste buds into a symphony of delicious, if delicious was the most beautiful piece of music you ever heard. if you still have tears in your heart, save them for Phở Me Now. they are the only people that deserve them as long as they are tears of happiness. in conclusion: #thatswhatsup

Easy to use website. Order arrived 50 minutes later around 11 on Saturday night. $ 30: Vegetarian egg rolls– yummy. Didn’t arrive hot, but luke warm, and still were yummy. Vegetarian bahn mi– ok. Dry. Probably won’t get again. Mushroom phở with volcano broth, extra noodles, and extra mushroom– delicious. Arrived hot. Didn’t need those extra mushrooms. Broth was properly spicy and flavorful(so many mushrooms!) A large portion– we easily have enough left over for another meal for two . Phở Me Now was a pleasant surprise for me, better than expected from the reviews.

Ambiance: N/A, since it’s late night delivery only. Food: I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the phở, since it was delivery and I didn’t have high expectations. The phở is flavorful and the noodles are stretchy instead of soggy, which I enjoyed. They package the soup and noodles separately of course, to prevent noodles from getting soggy. They also put a decent amount of meat in the soup. Service: Delivery took about 40 minutes, which was a bit longer than I was expecting since it was 2am and I was starving, but the delivery was straight forward, no complications or confusion about the address, etc.

Gobbled this up in the middle of the night. Again, Late Night Options came through and delivered. 3 stars for quality of food, 10 for the fact that they deliver until 4AM. Phở $ 9… large bowl of broth. Banh mi uses mayo(eew), but the lemongrass chicken was loaded with jalapenos, and I rather liked it! Bread could have been a better quality. Crispy eggrolls were the least impressive. Filling ingredients cheap and very boring. Love having Asian food inside of a work lounge!

Ahhh, the comforts of having late night phở while pulling all nighters for projects or finals cramming. For a late night delivery service in Berkeley that provides delicious food, Phở Me Now is great. The broth that comes with the phở is in a large tub so I recommend ordering an extra pack of noodles. Then you can have half the broth for one meal, and the other half for your next one! Phở isn’t the absolute best one I’ve ever had, but it’s still very good, especially for late night delivery. Potstickers and eggrolls are deep fried deliciousness that leave my stomach very happy. There used to be a minimum order requirement, but I think they got rid of it. It can be a bit pricey if you order just for one person so I would recommend either buying extra food for other meals or ordering together with other people.

I’ve been using this for several years at least now? Realistically, currently, I’d give them 3.5 stars, but it’s trending downwards. The convenience, hands down gets 4 stars, especially being able to satisfy a warm food craving at 3 in the morning on a cold night. That said, some wait times are longer and there’s the rare incorrect order. The phở itself is 2.5÷3 stars. The portions used to be heartier and the price point a little lower, and so the quality to price ratio was better. I feel similarly about the other entrees. The banh mi is ok, if overpriced, but South Berkeley doesn’t have a quality banh mi place anyways. Any of the rice dishes are saved as last resort(I have to have real craving for it).

I’m writing this as I dig into my hearty and generous sized XL bowl of phở. This is amazing for three reasons. 1: I just got off work– it’s 1:30am and I want food 2: I’m getting over a cold and need soup 3: It was delivered to my door in 15 minutes and is delicious. I live off University in Berkeley, so I’m pretty close to their headquarters, if you live further it may take longer– who knows. Anyways, I like to add the Hoisin Sauce, Rooster Sauce, jalapenos, sprouts, and basil– I like an experience when I eat phở. I wanna sweat a little. This was all that. Not to mention I’ve had worse phở in a sit down restaurant. You know those airplane meals that come as little kits? I fucking love them. I love the food, the process of unpacking everything, and eating a mini sandwich while I’m flying 23,000 feet in the air. This satisfied that happiness as well. It comes as a kit and you assemble it to your perfection. All in all– 5 stars. Can’t be beat. And if you’ve found something to complain about other than a missed order or burned whatever, you’re high maintenance.

So it’s 3AM and you just got back from a frat party. Phở Me Now sounds just about perfect at this point. From 6:00PM to 4:00AM(DAILY), you can order a variety of Vietnamese dishes(phở, banh mi, com tam) and it’s delivered to your location in roughly 30 – 60 minutes. Not award winning food, but hey, it’s Vietnamese food in the bay for college students. The portions are huge, Grace and I have shared a bowl of phở together and still have leftovers. our favorite is the brisket bowl. Thick cuts of meat and plenty of it. Yum! We love Phở Me Now when we’re desperate and hungry):

Phở me now makes some lame oily phở. I think if I threw some beef buillion into a pot of water, it would taste more authentic than phở me now. Save your money, go make a packet of shin ramyun or something.

I’ll be frank: I’m not giving them four stars cause the food is so outrageously amazing. It *IS* good, for sure. But good is where it stays. If I were rating on food alone, I would rate 3 stars. However, the fact that this place is open till 4AM is just crazy. Anyone who lives in Berkeley knows that eating past 9PM is basically like being on a Survivor episode. Eventually, you WILL start chewing on someone’s arm.(Did that happen in Survivor? I wouldn’t know, I didn’t watch the show… but I imagine something like this probably occurred at some point). Anyways, I digress. The menu is big enough to fulfill your bizarre 3AM craving. So that bumped it up by a half a star. But what bumped it up to four full, gleaming, bright orange stars is the fact that the delivery is so FREAKINGFAST! Seriously, Phở people, do you read our minds? Do you have our orders pre-placed and are you hiding out in our parking garages, waiting to sneak around to ring our bell? Something suspicious is going on with the delivery here. I’ve never gotten food so fast. You’d think, okay, its 3AM, maybe someone is a little TIRED? Maybe someone will show up a little late? Nope. They are RIGHTTHERE, ATTHEDOOR, knocking like they’re the damned fire department and there’s smoke billowing out from beneath your door. Well, they’re right. I’m starving. So, thank you for being open, for giving me options, and for lighting your own butts on fire to get here so quick. Four stars, all the way, even if you charge me a crazy total service fee of $ 5.00 each time I order. Nah, that last part does actually get annoying. Everything else? Thumbs up.

Great business plan for this online Vietnamese restaurant, opening from like dinner time to 4am. This was my post-drinking savior site, other than BearWalk’s free shuttle. Phở is like the best munchy after drinking. It used to be way better back when it first started. The soup used to be hot when it was delivered. There would be enough meat. The wait wasn’t super long either. Oh back in the days. Now it’s just a site where I can get my phở fix at the wee hours. It’s perfect during dead week and finals week, since I sleep during the day and study during the night. However, the costs do add up after a while, especially for college students. They do serve bahn mi and other entrée dishes like garlic noodle. Their combination bahn mi would be the best deal on the site. You have all the meat and you pay the same price as the other choices. The bad thing about their bahn mi is that the bread is not too fresh and it’s hard to bite into. Instead of a warm, toasted sandwich, you would have some rock hard baguette. $ 10 for your usual small bowl of phở. You’re really paying for a late night service. Now it’s just pretty bad quality, where I should just eat something else.

The concept of delivery phở and burgers and snacks all throughout the night is AMAZING and great. However, this was some of the most disappointing phở I have ever had. The chicken phở had about two or three chunks of dark meat in it, and that was it. What happened to the $ 3 extra mushrooms? I don’t know either, cuz they weren’t in there. The broth didn’t even taste like phở, and it was pretty greasy. Definitely NOT worth the $ 10. Ugh. Phở my life…

Phở is good, entrees are atrocious. I got the Lemongrass Chicken with Eggroll over Rice. The chicken was too cold, lifeless, burnt, and stale for my flimsy plastic fork to penetrate. I ate the oily egg, scooped a couple carrot strings from the«salad,» and literally tossed the rest into the garbage. It was inedible and I just mooched off my boyfriend’s huge pot of phở. I also redeemed my Passion Fruit Green Tea from Munchonme and I think it almost gave me diabetes. Didn’t finish that either. And I tried to redeem my Bacon Wrapped Hashbrown from Munchy Munchy Hippos(since you can order together) and they didn’t even give it to me. Woot. Mehr. Somebody was feeling pissy and decided to take it out on my order. Should have just walked my ass over to Top Dog, since they took almost an hour.

It’s a nice idea, but too expensive and poor quality to be worth it. The phở is blah. Must add Sriracha sauce. They gave me lemons instead of limes. Maaan I thought this place was started by Vietnamese Cal students… you should know better! They do give you some cool disposable spoon that looks like the kind you use at normal phở restaurants. The price is simply not justified before 10pm or while any other phở establishment is open. I could get cheaper phở just paying a friend to go buy it for me. Sadly, Cal students’ outside options are not much better though, now that Phở Hoa closed. I do see the appeal after hours, which is why I ordered from them. But honestly, it was just so expensive and not good enough for me to become a repeat customer.

Open 6PM to 4AM. let me repeat: 4AM. Phở Me Now has a monopoly on late night phở. How else am I going to get my fix at those wee hours of the night? My choices are to make my own(takes at least a day to boil the broth right) or go knocking on my dad’s door(takes an hour to get there). so yes, let’s all rave about this great service. ok, done? now begins the rant: I was afraid that the broth wouldn’t be hot enough to cook the noodle and sprouts, but it came steaming hot. I imagine the delivery guy to be like the one in Initial D, zooming down the Japanese mountain with tofu orders in the trunk, but instead, speedily coming off the Berkeley hills with buckets of soup. The portions are large indeed, but too much quantity can decrease my perception of the quality. I was near the end, but I couldn’t stand it finish it because I felt a little gross from the whole thing for the following reasons: — came in a bucket(my fault for not emptying it into a bowl) — not enough sprouts and basil with order(bigger packets pretty please) — undercooked brisket(though very fresh) — bland soup base(no big bold beef and grilled onion flavor) — no tang to it(not enough anise, coriander, cinnamon) — so oily that oil globules formed at the top once it got cold(my living living room is not well insulated) This phở is clearly made by amateurs and college students, but I have them to thank for filling my tummy in the late hours of the night/morning.

to all the people complaining about this place… dood its phở being delivered to your effing door. I dont know what you guys are complaining about. On cold nights you dont want to leave your house and feeling for some hot phở. Or how if you are studying and you don’t want to leave the house? This is a major convenience for all of you students out there. Whats that? Oh i forgot something, you can pay online with your credit card!!! These guys put your hot broth in a container with all the works, noodles on the side so it doesnt get soggy, and they make sure you have enough bean sprouts, jalapenos, etc. And then they deliver it to your door even if it is raining. I had loads of tender delicious brikset, the broth was hot and flavorful, the noodles were a bit soggy but thats only because i let it sit in there for too long. I also had a grilled pork sandwich, delicious grilled pork with the slight hints of burnt meat that adds that extra bit of flavor, the mayo and pâté slowly working its magic with the roll. Excellent on a cold night with my hot phở. oh yea, these guys close at like 4am… phở at 4am… PHO in the wee hours of the night. you tell me where you can find that in berkeley… and delivers. I’d rather have a nice hot bowl of phở then a oily greasy pizza. oh wait… some places dont even open till those hours. Look, their phở isnt the best phở in the world or in the bay. but its pretty damn good. The point is Phở Me Now is convienent and delicious. And for all that easy simple goodness they get 5 stars.

So, it’s 2AM at night and I just finished studying in the library. Yay, nerdy me. LOL And I’m starving, so I decided to try Phở me now since I’m feeling the mood for something warm. It’s freaking cold at night in Berkeley. I ordered the bowl, where you start out with just bare basics(noodles, broth) and just add… And I’m one of those that like to add everything, so I added tripe, rare steak, and brisket. And the bean sprouts, etc… but no hot sauce for me cuz it’s may plo all the way baby, forget about that sriracha. Got it about 30 – 40 minutes later, perfect timing because by the time you get home from the library, 10 minutes later, it’s there and you’re fed. =] It was very satisfying and my bf’s, protein bowl was amazing, but brisket wins cuz it’s even more amazing. Tender, juicy, bigger slabs of meat and the soup is quite tasty. For late night delivery, this is one of the better options, if not the best option. And I have tried Mrs. Munchies and Nude Sushi. By the way, their lumpia is wonderful!

What a great concept! I’m so jealous that I wasn’t the one who thought it up. Late night phở delivery right to your door? Awesome! I finally tried Phở Me Now yesterday. The broth was piping hot, the noodles were soft and tender, and the rare steak practically melts in your mouth. If you want additional toppings(e.g. bean sprouts, green onions, etc.,) you just have to put it in the comments section and BAM, it’s there with your order. Don’t let the fancy website and the price tag fool you. You definitely get what you pay for. The bowl is enough for two meals. Or two people. So really, it’s a steal! Plus, apparently you can chat with them via AIM. I don’t know what about since I haven’t tried… but maybe they give you order suggestions or something… Order five times for a free t-shirt! Why wasn’t I smart enough to think up of these marketing schemes?!
