Just got back from a successful trip to this place to find stuff for my son’s kitchen. I found even more things for myself – tart pans, bread proofing bowls, chef’s pants(!) and more. A zillion different tongs, great chinaware, lots of little ramekins, madeleine pans, and other great baking tools. Great cutting boards, bowls, oven mitts. Prices are very reasonable and quality is good. We found the staff to be terrific.

Prices were fair, selection was good, and service seemed fine that I stopped in for to pick a few items for my house 20 minutes before close. Solid and recommend going to if you’re looking to stock up on some Le Creuset — the prices seemed decent with the 30% off sale they were having.

If you need restaurant quality kitchen supplies, or just happen to like giant cookie sheets and spatulas and sh*t like I do, then this is the place. Generally cheaper than bed bath and beyond or something like that, and the stuff seems more«official» and«chef kitchen-y». Love this place and have spent way too much money in here on random crap. But I’ll be back the next time I need warming trays or a pizza stone or something like that.

Friendly as can be and incredibly helpful people make this my new favorite restaurant supply store. No seriously. They’re awesome sauce. Can’t wait to have them make me a scupper rail!

I really want to like this place: convenient location, organized store, and adjacent to a kitchen workshop! Awesome for those reasons. However, the staff here are for the most part rude and unhelpful, and I feel that some huge chunks of their items are always unavailable. me: «Do you guys think you’ll restock the bread pan soon?» guy at counter: «Eh, we don’t know. 3, 4, 5 weeks? Who knows» (notice: no initiative to take my name/email/phone number down to put an order) My advice: either go to Amazon(prices are wayyy cheaper there especially for Fat Daddio’s bake pans) or East Bay Restaurant Supply Shop(quality there is top notch)

My love of cooking and curiosity brought me here. I was looking for hot sauce style bottles which were putting me on this wild goose chase around the East Bay. Although they didn’t have them here, they have a great selection of food service, cooking, catering, bartending and canning supplies. I was overwhelmed in a good way. I wanted to buy myself something. Cooking gadgets are my favorite toys. I bought this waffle cut knife that makes my homemade pickles look fancy. It was pretty cheap and made of good quality, better than the one I lost. I came up with my own little wish list while shopping there, so I will be back as I can start investing in more kitchen toys. ;)

It is what it is. Do not walk in here expecting lavish All-Clad or Le Creuset cookware displays. While they have some nice consumer products, this place caters mainly towards restaurateur. I don’t get why people would walk in, expecting otherwise, and proceed to give the place low reviews. FFS, the words RESTAURANT is in the name. Anyway, as I was saying… this place stocks stuff used primarily in restaurants. But as a consumer, some of that stuff is pretty damn convenient in my home kitchen. They’re used in restaurants because they’re space-efficient, practical, and functional. I like to pick up stuff like squeeze bottles for oils/sauces and stackable storage bins. tl;dr it’s a restaurant supply store, not a Sur La Table. But don’t let that put you off from stopping by– you never know what cool stuff you can find for your home kitchen.
