Love Aidells Sausages. I usually get my Aidells at the grocery store. I work only a couple blocks away and always see this tent up & running. Right on the corner of 7th& Potter. Every time I go for walks during my break and passed by, they always say hi and smile. Today, I feel like having one for lunch. Small menu. There were 4 different types of sausages for the day. I got myself a Whiskey Fennel Sausage. Combo. Small bag of chip & can of soda. $ 6.50 total. Cash only. If you get the sausage only, it’s $ 5.50. There are condiments on the table. Two kinds of relish, yellow mustard, dijon mustard, sauerkraut, ketchup, mayo & chutney. No onions though. Which is my favorite when adding onto hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches… and sausages. He gave me a punch card. You get one free after you buy 10. The whiskey fennel sausage was good. Love the potato bun bread. Customer service is great. Friendly people. This place opens around 11:20am. I would definitely stop by again.

okay, so I applied for a job for Aidells, got an interview, and was accepted, and was SUPER excited to start. Problems with the hiring manager, Janet Mullin, made me decide to go elsewhere for employment. The first tip off was when, on Memorial Day weekend, she decided to interview me on that Saturday… for the whole week prior she couldn’t pen herself down for a time to meet. she left my whole weekend in limbo,(un-professional). she said she would try to meet me CLOSE to my home, I reside in Fitchburg, at last minute, she had me running to Worcester, once I got there, she really was not interested in my back ground, never asked me questions about qualifications, just went right into the responsibilities for the job. I got the job, and she gave me my cap and apron, I asked when I would be starting, she said probably next weekend. I filled out all paperwork emailed to me and sent back… TIPOFF # 2 i never heard from Janet Mullin, in regards to starting the following weekend so i left her a VM re: start time etc, on Wed, 3 days prior, she never called me back. I then left her another voice mail a WEEK later again, to follow up on start times etc. NOCALLBACK. I then emailed the HR, department in California, in regards to the same, let them(Marie Crouch) know I never heard back from Janet… I also got a snotty attitude from her, stating when she hears something she will contact me… within ten minutes of my email, I got a call from Janet, pretty much SCREAMING at me, as to why I contacted HR, I let her know it was because I never heard back from her, and this is now going on 3WEEKS with no work. i waited another half week, and emailed HR rep in California again, to let them know the can delete my job request, i was no longer willing to work for that supervisor or that company due to the SEVER unprofessionalism. So bascially i quit before i could start, I would never expect that kind of behavior from a manger or an HR representative

Seen Chef Bruce Aidells Sausage around at various locations. not sure how this is related to bruce ailells the company since the sausage company was sold to sara lee in 2011.(is this vendor unauthorized?) sausage: $ 5 each of $ 6 with soda and minibag chip varieties: –wine and fennel crunchy, tasted a little funnel not the wine thogh. –chicken and apple –maple and smoked bacon –cajun style andouille dog bites: –sausage –small –lots of condiments, mustard choices. –small bun given, not much room to put condiments in/on. –small sausage=pricey eats –parking very bad here, actually there isn’t any.

If your looking for a good bite to eat at lunch and not looking for a sit down and wait kinda place gotta stop by this street vendor selling sausages. Chef Bruce Aidells Sausage’s are good. Let me take that back, they are really good. I’ve been by this place many times, keeping a lid on it for as long as I can but after my 5th time I thought I’d write something up. $ 5 gets you a sausage and for an extra $ 1 you get chips and a soda. Not bad for a lunch bite. Depending on what’s grilling you can get a Chicken and Apple Sausage(really good, usually the pick of the day), Cajun Style Andouille(nice smoked pork and spices that give a big bite), and my favorite Maple and Smoked Bacon(3 links of golden bliss). There are others but these are the ones I’ve tasted several times. Served on a onion and herb soft roll and your pick of toppings from spicy brown mustard and saurkraut to chutney and sweet mustard. Can’t beat a place like this. Good food for a good price.
