Nice and clean location. The staff are usually very nice and attentive. Pretty fast most of the time and rarely a long line. I come here a lot. The parking is a bummer and the busy street is getting more dangerous every day. I can typically combine a double stop for a coffee and some groceries from across the street.

Working at Alta Bates Hospital, I come here at least three times a week, sometimes more than once in a day. I love the baristas here and a lot of them have gotten to know my name and drink. Sometimes the line does get long but I like how they accept the mobile ordering because my drink is always ready within 5 minutes. The staff are always cleaning the floors and tables and it really is just one of the nicest Starbucks.

I walk in to this Starbucks almost every day, and it’s definitely one of my favorites. The baristas are not only good at what they do, but they tend to go the extra mile. They’ll converse with the customer, and often develop a relationship & rapport with them every time they come in. Their service is quick, and I have yet to have an order that has been made incorrectly. The corner location of this store makes for a lively, definitely busy, but well-​run Starbucks. In the evening, it dies down a little bit, making reading and studying easy and relaxing. I’ll continue to be a patron at this particular location.

I went in before work to get a couple drinks and breakfast. I was initially put off by the line but before I knew it, I was through the line and eating for my drink. The staff was quick and courteous. The barista was amazing. He was efficient and friendly to myself as well as those before me. I believe his name was Kenny. He told me but it was early. He made the service personalized, didn’t seem mechanical at all but cranked out those delicious drinks like a fucking machine! I used to be a barista. A very good barista. I was impressed! Hey telegraph Starbucks, thanks for having your shit together! Kudos to whoever hired Kenny. Keep that guy around for as long as you can!

Super convenient cause I live in the same building as the Starbucks so I can just pick up coffee as I’m going out. But it’s always super full a lot of the times and they have only one person working so it’s even slower.

I’m picky about my coffee and regardless of who makes it here it has turned out GREAT.
There is one guy there that is FULL of energy and always recommending something to eat or to try. If it weren’t for him I would never have found my new addiction which is that yummy mango black tea lemonade. So addicting. I haven’t tried their pastries but they are arranged well unlike some other Starbucks.
The sucky part is how there is never a place to sit. People really hog space in that joint. Sometimes I just wanna push their bag on the floor so than I can sit.

This Starbucks location is an excellent addition to this side of Berkeley, it’s well maintained (clean floors and tables), staffed with courteous employees, and has excellent hours (one of the only coffee shops open till 9pm daily). Also, the mood here is excellent, whether you are grabbing an early morning brew before work while reading the paper or are studying hard for finals, this place will keep you relaxed and focused.

Why can’t a leave a zero star review?
I want to start by saying how rude and unprofessional Erin the supervisor was!
I called to complain about a bad experience, only to be made to feel like my feelings didn’t matter!
You could sense by her tone that she had NO interest or desire to hear my complaint!
As a supervisor, one would think it’s your responsibility to try to fix the situation so your customers will return to your business!
I will never return after watching a homeless guy dig through the trash, walk into the store with the cup and have the barista make his drink after I’d been waiting for my drink for sometime.
Not only did the barista make his drink first, but they never washed there hands when handing me off my drink!
Nasty!!!
I walked out the door and immediately threw it out!
Erin needs an attitude adjustment and better listening skills if she plans to remain in a supervising position!
I’ll never return!

I had the unpleasure of «Mo» waiting on me the other morning. This place gets a lot of hospital visitors. I think Mo needs some lessons in good customer service. Just looked angry, ungrateful and generally sour that he had to wait on me. Doesn’t use those words our mamma taught us, «please» and «thank you». You work in service /​hospitality industry. You will come across guests who could use some politeness, especially when faced with dealing with loves ones in the hospital. But especially because they decided to spend their money in your employers business. Maybe you need to clean toilets or work in a capacity that doesn’t deal with customers. Try a smile

Note there’s very little parking.
If you want to support local shops — Mocca is just a couple blocks down towards Alcatraz. They are great as well. I like to mix it up between the two.

Probably the nicest Starbucks I’ve been to thus far. Unlike the Oxford & Shattuck locations that are always packed with Students this one was mellow, especially for a weekday evening. Pastries-​fresh, speed/​quality of service-​excellent, taste of beverage-​on point. I’ll have to stop by more often.

Your typical Starbucks. Lower quality coffee and tea for lower prices. Parking in the area kinda sucks. The workers are friendly, and there’s an outlet at each table along the wall. However, it’s hard to find a spot for a group larger than 2, as most tables are small. I like mokka much better bc for 25 cents mute you get better coffee and tea, and parking is much easier to find, and there’s better seating for larger groups. There’s also more seats at mokka
