Taylored Furniture

I feel so fortunate to have found Paul Taylor. He built two customized circular reception desks and ten display shelves out of reclaimed wood for my new optometry office. He worked extremely well with my architect and electrician to make sure all the details were correct and everything would be functional and look amazing at the same time. Paul was patient and listened to my wishes as well as those of my team, while also providing his own ideas and advice. What we got is just so amazing and I’m so happy with how it all turned out. He’s a smart guy and knows his craft well. I can’t wait to work with him again.

I was putting together my new living room entertainment system, and had specific requirements that store-​bought centers just couldn’t provide. Paul was the perfect choice for a custom built solution that fit all my needs. We worked together over a couple of sessions to spec out the requirements, design and materials. He delivered a beautiful piece of furniture that was aesthetic, highly functional and very sturdy; it’s a piece of art that will surely outlive even me. Three thumbs up for Taylored Furniture!

Paul worked on a customized floating shelving unit above our staircase. From the get-​go, he is a great communicator. He listened to our specific needs (we were looking for a way to incorporate a great design to toddler-​proof a dangerous area and utilize a dead space better in our home), provided great feedback and listened well to ours, and ultimately presented us with a functional product that’s visually stunning and unique. His work is understandably in high demand, but he was able to put together reasonable goals (both in timing and budget) and keep us updated along the way. As soon as the project started, he was able to build it and install it in a very short amount of time.
You can see from his site that his designs are beautiful, modern and sleek — yet he himself is extremely down-​to-​earth and approachable. We enjoyed working with him every step of the way. Due to the success of this first project, we are already commissioning him to work on our bedroom furniture.
Not only does he have a strong background in furniture design, he is also a talented visual artist. I trust his instincts completely, and by working with him, you are guaranteed to have unique, visually stunning, and extremely durable product that we will enjoy for years to come.
