Worst customer service ever… if you order you better make sure you open the pizza box before you leave because they can never seem to get it right… and then they blame the customer… HORRIBLE!!!

The thundersticks are where it’s at! Those breadsticks are a feast alone — I enjoy every stick :) They have great pizza with tons of fresh toppings, real mushrooms and fresh tomato sauce. The crust is always puffy and never burnt or flat. The staff is very friendly, even the delivery guys. We are regulars there. At least to us it seems ;)

I got a small round pizza, picking the toppings myself, and a small antipasto. Being new to the area, I thought I’d give it a shot — it was ok. Nothing to write home about. The spicy pepperoni wasn’t spicy as I know spicy. There were large ham and salami chunks in the salad — actually too big for the salad. As I said, it was ok, but I’ll try other places in the area before I return. Delivery was available, and took around an hour. Since it’s only a few blocks away, I was kind of surprised at the wait time as well.

This is the best carry out pizza in the area. I like the spicy pepperoni which is more like the smaller, traditional pepperoni that you find at old school pizzerias. I will be back!

This place is definitely one of my go-to pizza places in the area. I highly recommend the square style pizza, which is somewhat reminiscent of Buddy’s Pizza. The corners are crispy and the pizza is always cooked to perfection. The Thundersticks(bread sticks) are huge and a great deal at $ 3.99. I always pair them with a side of ranch. Finally, the guys in the store are always quick, efficient and friendly. Rarely is there a wait longer than 15 – 20 minutes for an order. If you haven’t had Uncle Andy’s, you owe it to yourself to at least try it out. I suspect you will not be disappointed.

I am a fan of this location only!, the staff is friendly, efficient and my orders have all been correct. I usually order the bbq chicken and bacon pizza with no cheese. It is good every time. The thunder stix are favorite as well. The pizza is delicious and every bite has a little of everything you order on pizza in it. So balanced with the soft crust that’s cooked all the way through with been rubbery. Love it so much I will get a piece of other pizzas I order for my family. This place definitely gets the Homer Simpson drool.

Cheese bread is fantastic! Great specialty pizzas and decent prices. Large pizza with one topping and a cheese bread was $ 15 for carry out. I recommend!

The first(and last) time we ordered a deep dish, «Chicago style«for delivery. We live one mile from their store. The pizza was cold, the pepperoni tasted cheap, and the cheese was not completely melted. I give them half a star.

Consistently good square pizza. Copious amounts of cheese and fresh toppings. Perfect level of sweetness to the sauce. Crust is crispy, yet the center of the pizza is cooked just right– not over done. Friendly service and very reasonable prices. I definitely recommend.

Uncle andy’s is our go to pizza place! We always order for delivery or pick up. Usually get half meat lover and half supreme. So delish! Oh and the chicken wings! Yum.

First time here, probably the last. There’s an issue with our order. We placed it online, paid and received a confirmation email. When we arrive, there’s no food or order. And what do they offer? A 5% discount. Thanks unc, but we’re not impressed.

My favorite pizza shop. Green Lantern is the only one that’s better but they’re sooo expensive. If you want excellent pizza, at a great price, they’re a good one. It’s kind of funny, but they don’t even ask my name now, when I come in. They know me. That’s nice service too!

Got their 3 top 2 pizza deal, wanted square deep dish, that only comes in sm and LG, so I went with the large, also got their 3 cheese bread and some boneless chicken pieces all together it came to over 35 $ so not so cheap, but not to bad it did feed 6 people with some left over. But they messed up my order and one pizza only got 2 toppings, and the boneless chicken sucked, small dry and not very tasty. I did call them about my pizza and he gave me a 5 $ credit for my next order, that was nice I’ll just skip the chicken next time.

Ordered a small Chicago Style Pizza with meat and green peppers. Unilocal says Uncle Andy’s delivers, but when you place an order on Uncle Andy’s site, it says no delivery. I called them directly, and yes, they do deliver. My pizza arrived in about 30 minutes and it was hot. I’m originally from Chicago, so I’m a hard critic on Chicago-style pizza. This pizza was tasty, and substantial, but far from Duo’s or Giadanno’s. No real comparison, but a good, solid, fresh pizza. As a nice added touch, the crust is either packed to the edge with cheese or stuffed. Either way, I enjoyed 2 slices of a small and was super full. I imagine a small will last me 2 — 3 days, personally, and I am not a light eater by any stretch of the imagination. Lol.

My husband and I just moved to the Royal Oak area a few months ago, and one of the first orders of business was finding our new go-to pizza delivery joint. I hopped on Unilocal, checked out some reviews, and we ordered from Uncle Andy’s. Been ordering from them 2 – 3 times per month ever since. We always opt for the square pizza — I love a good doughy crust with crispy edges on a square pie — and Uncle Andy’s delivers. Pizza always arrives warm, toppings are fresh(fresh chopped tomatoes instead of canned?! score!), perfectly cheesy gooey goodness. We tried the cheese-stuffed bread once and weren’t thrilled with it, but who cares — the pizza is good and that’s what it’s all about. Pizza always arrives in under 30 minutes, delivery dudes are friendly and polite, prices are reasonable. What more could you ask for?

Papa-schmapa, I’m sticking with everyone’s favorite Uncle. Better pizza, better bread, and local! I had never even noticed Andy existed until my work catered in from the Farmington location. I was love at first bite. Their square pizza is crunchy, gooey goodness. The cheese is always fresh not greasy. Im pretty plane Jane, but my hubby has tried just about every topping combination and loved them all. Oddly enough, on of my favorite things here is the Greek salad. The deliciousness makes me feel like I’m being healthy while not compromising on any taste. We’ve also started ordering their wings, the BBQ is a house favorite. All in all, we are pretty loyal to Uncle Andy’s for our Sunday night pizza treat. They haven’t let us down yet!

When I moved to Berkley last winter, I got a free pizza coupon from Uncle Andy’s to welcome me to the neighborhood. Free food lured me into their restaurant, and great food keeps me coming back. My absolute favorite item is their iced cinnamon sticks, which are the perfect combination of chewy, crunch, and sweet. I also love the way they do their cheese bread, which is baked into their dough, kind of like a calzone. I’m partial to their square pizzas, which are chewy, and not overly greasy. They are generous with sauce, cheese, and toppings. I usually order off their website, and every order has been ready for me when I came in to pick it up. But when I call in an order, it’s often ready 5 – 10 minutes earlier than they quote me. I haven’t ever had them deliver to me, but their employees are always super friendly when I come inside. Only downside is that their parking lot is always really crowded, and not always plowed in the snow. It can be tough to get a parking spot for carryout, even though they have some dedicated stalls.

Imma be honest… this wasn’t the best pizza I’ve ever had. It wasn’t even close. Hungry Howie’s has better pizza than what was delivered to my doorstep from Uncle Andy’s. The breadsticks in theory are amazing… a pocket of dough stuffed with melty cheese, and the top layer of golden brown crust is brushed with a garlic butter sauce… but in execution, they were rubbery. And mushy. And sooo disappointing! We ordered a pepperoni pizza, a classic litmus test for pizzarifficness, and it was just okay. Round 10-slice was a standard Large size. You can flavor the crust, which is great! The crust under the cheese was soggy, but the cheese blend is pretty tasty. Pros of this joint: their pizza sauce is AMAZING. Sweet, spicy, tangy… it really outdoes all other sauces in the area. Cons: really rubbery, cold food at delivery. This place has so many loyal lovers, I’ll have to try it again. I was thoroughly disappointed seeing as it’s one of the higher rated pizza joints in the area, but maybe it was just an off night.

Ok, so we’ve been here twice now so I feel I can accurately describe why this is a 5 star pizza joint(4.5 but let’s round up to support the lil’ guys!). First visit we ordered: 1) Large square half pepperoni & half vegetarian. This was on point with Green Lantern Pizza’s and if you follow my #PizzaFriday’s you already know we should own stock or have 2 – 3 loyalty cards completed! Like Jon B. mentioned, the fresh mushroom is perfect unlike the canned mushrooms from GL. 2) Cheesy Breadsticks: think calzone shaped filled with cheesy goodness and brushed with light garlic butter on the outside. Best served warm so the cheesyness yields maximum stringy pull apart cheese. The marinara isn’t too sweet or acidic too. Second visit was prompted by my tweet they favorited after posting their Pizza goodness and also because we now live 0.4 miles down the street. Talk about eating local & supporting local! We ordered: 1) Large 8 corner square pizza half double pepperoni & black olives & half vegetarian. This was a winner! Like GL’s Octopie, the edges were nicely cheesy-charred and you can ask to flavor the crust(which I always forget to… garlic butter I wanna drink you!). My fresh mushrooms weren’t runny & the toppings to cheese ratio was perfect. 2) Triple Cheese Bread: BETTERTHANGREENLANTERN’s Lantern Bread! Got that? That’s saying a whole lot! I love that GL’s Lantern bread is fluffy & doughy but this Triple Cheese bread has mozzerella, cheddar and parmesan with a nice coat of garlic butter. It also comes as a deep dish square which is like a square cheese pizza without the marinara. But man it is crack. We loved, loved, loved it. And DF isn’t one to dole out complements esp if they’re better than his beloved GL. We have yet to try their round pizza and we might not, b/c if you know whatcha like(we love square pizza!), why mess with a good thing? I think we’ll give the deep dish a try when we’re in Chicago craving mode.
