So many communities help make New Mexico what it is. The Town of Bernalillo is no exception. A tad bit smaller than Los Lunas or Belen but has a feistiness of its own. Along main street you’ll find everything one needs or looks for from a small town. Unique shops, restaurants, gas stations, a feed shop, post office, churches along with Bernalillo’s rich history & culture. Any given Friday night the town will be hoppin’ at The Range Café with an amazing menu and wonderful tunes echoing through the dining area by local artists. The rich history includes fiestas that have been celebrated for over 300 years within the Catholic community and the newer history includes new eateries that have opened up such as The Freight and Filibertos. If you plan it right you can make a short day trip out this way to visit The Coronado Historic Site( ) grab a bite to eat at a local restaurant and check out the unique shops that The Town of Bernalillo has to offer. Don’t forget to stop by Sweet Cravings( ) for cupcakes or gelato! Yum!!!

The town of Bernalillo is an important part of New Mexico. Within Bernalillo there are Native American reservations. The Santa ana star casino is a place to go gamble or even to eat at a fresh buffet with unlimited Salad, crab legs, or dessert. There are stores in Mid Bernalillo selling cultural items and more restaurants to try food you haven’t tried before.
