I’ve only eaten breakfast burritos here. They are decent – not my favorite. My suggestions for improvement: they should be hotter in temperature when served, and the green chile should not be so soupy.

I would say that the service and food is the same no matter which store you go too. There is nothing outstanding but at the same time it’s not bad.

I like to stop here in the morning before I start my day of joy and the breakfast burritos are good.

I like Twisters. which makes me very disappointed to have to write this review. I’ve been in this location numerous times, hoping that one of these days will hold a better experience. Not one time has the place seemed clean. The tables are dirty, and the floor is ALWAYS sticky. from the minute you walk in the door. The staff isn’t very friendly. And. I found two dead bugs in the restroom. I keep hoping I’ll show up, and the place will be clean. but, unfortunately, I won’t be coming back to this location any more to find out. The location on 528 is so much friendlier, and clean.

Twisters has a legitimate claim to fame. Of course any true Breaking Bad fan knows«Los Pollos Hermanos». The actual location was not this one, but the Albuquerque one about 40 minutes or so away. That of course doesn’t stop the promotion of «Featured in Breaking Bad» around the restaurant. That is not why we stopped here. While I would have loved a photo op in the Albuquerque store, we were just super hungry, needed to hit the road back to California and couldn’t deal with the typical chain fast food joints that were our only other options this hour in the am in this town. Jackpot! Although initially overwhelmed by the incredible amount of options on the menu, I found the experience to be fantastic(for fast food & New Mexican food). While my significant other ordered 2 breakfast burritos, I(not a big fan of breakfast food and despise eggs) went for an Indian Taco, enchilada and fries. Talk about over ordering! The portions were huge! The Indian Taco(which I’d never had before) was like a small pizza! I filled up before I barely ate any of it. We ended up putting plenty of food in our road trip cooler for the next meal. The flavors of everything were amazing! I completely regret not ordering a huge container of red chile sauce to bring home and incorporate in my own cooking. I don’t even know if that’s an option but I certainly would have paid for it. Spicy sensitive people beware, the red chile is full of spice. I love that myself. The fries are curly, crispy and delicious and one order is enough for 3 people(4 if with smaller tummies 2 if very large ones). Geez, I wish one of these was in California. Or maybe not, cause I’d probably stop in too often. 5 stars for the best fast food place I’ve been to in a while. Even without the Breaking Bad fame, this is a must stop.

Good Mexican fast food at a great price! I always do their Rio Grande which is red chile, egg, pork and potato. So delicious!
