I find that both Loveland Habitat & the Berthoud Habitat Thrift Stores are missing something polar opposites of each other. Berthoud is clean, well organized, knowledgable staffed, and WAY to expensive. Loveland is dirty, a hot mess, questionable staff, and mostly well priced. (but for the Boutique area — also WAY too expensive) Put them both in a bag, mix well, and then they might be perfect!

A very clean, peaceful and well organized store in a beautiful building right in historic downtown Berthoud. There is everything and anything you could want from antiques to brand new items. The prices are extremely reasonable and the staff is kind, friendly, approachable and extremely accommodating! For some unexplained reason, this is also a very peaceful place to leisurely place to take your time browsing through. Whether you are homeless or a billionaire, 7 years or 97 years old, a collector, Ebay guru, parent or someone setting up a new home or maintaining a family, this is the place to check out on a regular basis. You’ll always find a treasure!

Well organized, super clean. I got a pair of size 5T sweatpants for my kid, a couple audiobooks, and 4 pairs of socks — 2 cute footies and two pairs wtith the«fingers» like on gloves — all for under $ 5! A second $ 5 bought us a no-frills exersaucer for me to put my 8 month in for the week. Very cool!

A non-profit charitable thrift store who will donate to another local non-profit! Sales every Thursday on some items, and EVERYTHING on sale the last Saturday of the month! The friendliest sweetest girl at the checkout you’ll ever meet. Woo hoo!
