The burgers/sandwiches are still crappy but i recommend if you have to go here go for the chocolate shake. The customer service from arianna was fantastic and Kiara made the shake with the right consistency that I like and that a shake should have. These Culvers duo made my day, and earned Culver’s another star.

The reason why im giving this establishment 5 stars is for their outstanding customer service! We come here numerous times for the custard and every single time the customer service here is excellent. Everyone has great mannerism, great customer service skills and are super friendly. This place is nice and clean when we come here and every employee that comes across us always greets us or asks us how we are doing. This is what makes people want to come back to an establishment. For being such a younger crowd of employees they have great manners! highly recommend this place!

I hadn’t eaten since breakfast and I was very hungry. I was not in the mood to cook once I got home so I decided to go through the drive through at Culver’s to get a Reuben sandwich. What a disappointment!!! For a $ 9 sandwich I expected much more than such a small small sandwich on toasted white bread that was soggy. If I wasn’t so hungry I would have taken it back and demand my money back!!! I will never go back there again! I should have followed my first mind to go to Jason’s deli! Jason deli would have been worth the trip and very good to my stomach.

Ever since we went to Culver’s more than a year ago, we’ve wanted to go back, but this location really is out of our way so it had to be a special trip in the car. We finally made it back last Sunday, and it was a busy day at Culver’s. As before, the young girl with glasses who works in the dining area was amazing! She has loads of energy, cleaning and vacuuming, delivering food to the tables, offering to refill a drink, or clearing tables. She’s very sweet and often responds to customers’ requests with«It would be my pleasure.» But we had to take one star off for how greasy the double hamburger was and the disappointing taste of a couple other items we brought home to have the following day.

I am admittedly a recovering fast food addict. I mean, I am probably more of an all things food addict, but I seriously love French fries despite knowing they are commonly one fourth of my recommended daily caloric intake. I love fries so much I could eat fries twice a day. But I don’t. Culver’s is different in that it offers a lot more than fries. Yes, the crinkle cuts fries are delicious and are always piping hot. But Culver’s butter burgers are also pretty darn special in their own right. And then there’s the CUSTARD. I love their custard. I am impressed the various custard of the day options and absolutely love that you can purchase pints in their freezer to take the frozen love home with you. There are tons of pre packages pint flavors to choose from here and they are $ 2.50 on Tuesdays. This is quite the deal considering the cost of a scoop here($ 2.39) or the price of custard at a boutique establishment. If you were inclined to stock up, there’s a 4 pints for $ 9.99 deal with your name on it. If you can appreciate crinkle cut fries and custard, you have to stop in and give this place some love. You will be glad you did.

I have to say I’ve always heard about Culver’s but never really been to one. So I was a bit excited to finally get to taste this frozen custard. And upon entering I was warming greeted by Jennifer, who is definitely a valuable asset to this particular location. And she helped me decide what I wanted to order without making me feel slow. I ordered the cheddar butter burger, which was very delicious, as well as tasting fresh. There wasnt any frozen taste to be had. And just as I was trying to decide if I shades room ton taste some of their custard, here comes Jennifer, asking if everything tasted alright. Then she offers me a sample of the very custard I had my sights on. I am so very glad I came across this Culver’s, and doubt I will ever want to go to any other, just because of Jennifer. She is an awesome woman and employee of this establishment.

Would rate 5 stars if it was in a better location. It’s so hard to turn out of the restaurant because it’s such a busy area. Always have fresh food though, pretty fast service!

I’d just read about Culver’s in the(Recommmended) «Hamburger Heaven» book, when I had the chance to go to a Culver’s in Green Bay, about 8 years ago. I was immediately impressed by how comfortable and clean the dining area was, pretty much atypical of most popular fast food joints. The food was much better than I expected, too, not as if I expected it to be bad, mind you… Culver’s has never been a Chicago thing(It might have been, at one time.), so, when I Iearned that a Culvers was opening in Berwyn, at least in the same time zone, I was anxious to check it out. You’d think you could get a good hamburger on any corner in Chicago, but, not anymore. Generaly, I only go to Berwyn if there’s a show at Fitzgerald’s, which is, conveniently, a short walk down Roosevelt from Culver’s. The employees at Culver’s are so polite, and so efficient, it’s almost like being in The Twilite Zone. I don’t generally expect food as good as this to be delivered so promptly, and to my table, at that. You can’t even tip them, though you feel like you should. As Nathan B. noted, the people at Culver’s do not seem like disgruntled fast food employees at all. The burgers, sure, I’ve had better in my lifetime, but they’re fresh, no armpit stank odor or taste like McDonald’s, this is actually a burger, done right. They give you a lot, too. My girlfriend expected a double burger to be like the average wafer — thin job you get at most fast food places(I don’t really consider Culver’s to be «Fast Food», even though they get your order to you in a hurry. They have more class than that.). She could’nt finish it, and I ended up having to eat about half of it. Woe is me. The sweet potato fries are particularly good, tho’ the regular fries are also very good. I like the cheese curds, but, a whole order is a bit too rich for me(Hmmmm. Maybe I should share. NAAAHHH!!) Honestly, I’m not always in the mood for frozen custard, though, I usually get it, and enjoy it. It’s not ice cream, and it certainly is’nt Margie’s Ice Cream, but, it’s so creamy, rich and dreamy… I like the chocolate malts and the sundaes, but, the cones rock, too. My GF ordered a seasonal pumpkin– cheesecake concrete mixer. Much to her surprise, there were REAL bits of cheesecake. I did’nt see that coming, either. Sadly, she was’nt able to finish it. Why am I so burdened ‚ friends ? Culver’s is a particularly nice sit down and eat place for families. Kids seem to have a good time there, and, I could imagine, it’s more convenient than going to a «Real» restaurant, though well worth the few dollars extra to pass on the better known cheap, but taste like ass, establishments.

I try not to eat too much fast food, but sometimes I want crispy chicken strips, french fries or maybe a burger. This is the place to go! The food doesn’t taste fake, like other burger chains. I went here on a Thursday because I wanted a burger, and my hopes weren’t too high for a burger chain. I was totally surprised at how delicious it was! The price is right too! This is the best quality burger to grab when you don’t want to go to «other» quality burger joints and spend $ 15. I spent under $ 10 and got chicken tenders, fries and a burger. Yeah, I’ll be back!

This location is in a busy spot and God help you if you need to make a left out of here during rush hour onto Roosevelt when exiting this Culvers. The food is typical of most culvers and delicious. Yummy food but busy location and the drive thru is always super busy too.

When it comes to fast food, you can’t do better than Culver’s. I especially like this location because they have better than average employees. Seriously – really nice people, friendly, and helpful. No one there seems disgruntled or surly like most fast food places. I like the butter burgers. My wife likes the veggi burgers. We both love the cheese curds. Our sons like frozen custard. Makes for an easy, tasty meal on evenings when we’re late getting back from work. Don’t come here expecting health food. The whole point of Culver’s is awesome burgers and cheese curds.

So, I was forced to go back to Culver’s, and I actually found something I like and can eat. Supposedly they don’t offer them at all locations, but they have pretty good veggie burgers(if you add a little bbq sauce). Turns out, they’re actually Morningstar burgers! I’m not sure which kind, but they’re not the Grillers. A little over priced, IMO, once you know what it is. Nevertheless, it’s nice to know they have something I don’t mind eating when I am dragged into this place. I also tried the pumpkin milkshake. I’m kind of addicted to pumpkin spice, and all of my holiday pounds can be attributed to its various forms. That said, it’s okay. Pumpkin is just something better served warm, IMO. They have $ 1 ice cream floats on Wednesdays, which the kids like. The staff, for the most part, is very pleasant, patient, and helpful. They’ve got wifi and ice cream… all my boys care about these days. Their sundaes actually work out to be a little cheaper than Dunkin Donuts. So if my boys like it, that’s all that really matters I guess lol. It’s just not the place to be for the calorie conscious out there. The nutritious facts are tear inducing. You’ve been warned. I give them 3 stars because I’ve yet to try any of their custardy treats that have impressed either my family or myself enough to account for the calories.

Seriously… I think whoever does the hiring at Culver’s does a fantastic job… I always have the NICEST people helping me while I’m there! That alone just makes my day! I love the cheese curds, the pot roast dinner, the green beans, the soup, the custard… there are plenty of super items on the menu to please any kind of eater. But really… the best part of Culver’s is that you get treated like a human in the drive-thru line.

I’ve been going to this Culver’s more often — ok, ok, I have become more of a regular. I almost feel like family now… almost like Norm at Cheers. This may seem like a bad thing, but it’s not. I feel at home when I come here and love seeing familiar faces when I walk in the door. Everything has gotten better since they opened — especially the service — staff is awesome and honestly is why I keep going back(Candice, Fabi and Richard are my fave lunchtime crew!) — good food is a bonus — especially those cheese curds!!!

We love Culver’s. Husband loves the burgers and I like the reuben. Also I think I prefer custard to most ice cream. The only problem is it’s expensive for fast food but it’s classier than McDonald’s.

I’m writing because I really like Culver’s. I’m not a vegetarian and I really don’t come here fora healthy alternative. I wonder why such people bother to eat here? It just doesn’t add up? One thinks maybe they are shills. Let me put this is perspective. If I reviewed a vegetarian restaurant and complained they didn’t serve a cheeseburger you would think I was a a half wit, and rightfully so. I always think that every meal out is an experience, not always good. If you really want to eat healthy and economically, you should probably eat at home. I am sort of prompted to write this after talking to a relative about fast food. It’s generally just mediocre. Like does anyone really like McDonald’s, Burger King or Taco Bell? It’s a known quantity. You know how long you will be in there and what you will have and you won’t be far from wrong. They are generally not bad and very very rarely good. Culver’s is an exception. But unlike fast food they bring the food out to you. Oddly, I have never had the custard. So I won’t speak of it. Usually I dine at the one in Lyons and this one is usually disappointing. But we stopped off Saturday and it was actually really good! I did forget to ask them to hold the onion, but that is my own doing. I may be the only person that thinks raw red onion on a sammich is over rated. The onion rings are just excellent.

Yay!!! I am the FIRST person to review the new Culver’s that opened today in Berwyn.(I love writing first reviews) I’ve always been curious about Culver’s but since there wasn’t one near me, I wasn’t going to drive a dozen miles for a burger. y’know? Today was the fateful day I gave in to my curiosity and popped my Culver’s cherry. Lol. The place was pretty packed, understandably, but everything flowed smoothly and the employees were pleasant and I’ve gotta say, they kept a smile on their faces the whole time. So what’s the verdict, you ask? Eh, it was«alright». I don’t see what the big deal is. The burgers were ok and I didn’t care for the bland fries. I guess the ice cream is what everyone loves so I will be back to try that when it’s not as hectic as it was today.
