Terrible. My date and I had to wait just to be seated(it was absolutely dead and the person at the front just wasn’t there) and when we were finally seated, usually you are immediately asked what you’d like to drink; nope. It took a good 10 – 15 minutes until we realized this is ridiculous. Yes, no one even came after I counted down giving them 3 more minutes so we got up and left. What was even more sad is that no one at the front(three people this time) told us to have a good day or even acknowledged us. Never going there again, sad.

I love Bertucci’s pizza. I will be honest and say that I do not recommend the pasta, b/c it’s just mediocre. Except the chicken parmsean is fantastic and they give you a nice portion so you’ll have some to take home. Asolutely love the rolls and oil. I think they have the best olive oil around. Waiters are nice and I have never had bad service at this location. They are also great with kids.

We went for lunch and the space is large and accommodating and accessible. Lunch comes with free bread and salad. We had a vegetarian calzone and a cheese pie and both were well made and enjoyable. We left filled and satisfied. Staff are professional and pleasant. We’ll be back.

You guys rock! We had a planned reservation for last Saturday for about 120 people but some of us got in to town the night before and decided to stop by. We were looking for a quick bite and lots of beer and booze — you totally hooked us up with some great apps — those meatball sliders were the bomb!!! The bartender, obviously overwhelmed by the large crowd showing up, still managed to pull through and took great care of us. Heck, he even put the Yankee game on so I could see the O’s get beat by my Yanks! Great staff, great management — restaurant done right!

Standard chain Italian food place. Food was ok good but not amazing. Portions were large. The highlight is that the staff is very friendly. The manager walked around the restaurant all evening asking people how they were doing, and our waitress was very kind and accommodating of our large group.

I had only come here with the intention of spending a $ 25 gift card that I had received in a raffle and my expectations were kept to a mediocre level knowing that this is a chain restaurant. Anyways, we ordered the lobster ravioli, frutti di mare, and the tre dolci dessert sampler. My girlfriend thought the lobster ravioli was just«ok» and that she didn’t care for the sloppy plating of the ravioli. My frutti di mare had a decent tomato/caper broth with it; the seafood was slightly scorched on the top because the dish was intensely broiled in a short amount of time. But, I thought the slight scorching didn’t detract too much from the dish(just some parts were dry and even the mussel shells were fracturing since they were scorched). What saved this review from a 2 stars was the dessert sampler, tre dolci. It had miniature servings of the chocolate budino, limoncello mascarpone cake, and tiramisu. The chocolate budino was served in a hardened chocolate cup and the sweetness wasn’t too overpowering while providing a base taste and texture of rich chocolate/cocoa. The limoncello mascarpone cake was easily the best of the three with a great balanced taste and texture. The tiramisu tastes like tiramisu from anywhere else it is served. I would come back on the condition that I had another gift card to spend. White Flint Mall is going to be demolished regardless in 2014 I believe.

I came here a couple times and the food was okay not all that. They have great bread!!! Service was good and price was good but if you really want your moneys worth go next door to cheesecake factory. They will have a longer waiting time though but it is worth it.

As an appetizer, we tried the grilled shrimp. The marinade was very light, which I appreciated. Balsamic can be overpowering, but I barely noticed it behind the flavor of the grill. I loved the polenta, and the shrimp were plump. I could do without the pomodoro, though. I’m a HUGE fan of their dinner rolls, which are served hot with a plate of seasoned olive oil. I think I ate more of the bread than my entrée. Their small place of garlic and herb raosted mushrooms was a winner, too. The flavoring wasn’t overpowering, and the mushrooms were cooked just right. My entrée was a chef special which was fettucini served with chicken, sausage, and mushrooms. It was delicious! The chicken was moist and the sausage had a really robust flavor. I’d definitely order it again. We also ordered the The server was attentive and gave great advice on the meals(he informed me that the Sauteed Chicken Piccata is a dish that is sent back most often and the Chicken Domani is hit or miss). The overall atmosphere was standard. We went on a Tuesday evening around 7, and there was no wait and only a handful of other parties. Parking is free, but can be limited because of the traffic at the mall. I had to circle the lot in front a few times to get a spot, but if you don’t want to wait, there is complimentary valet. It’s definitely worth checking out!

I’ve been going to Bertucci’s since the 90’s(a bit later to this location…) I think what makes it is the dough which tastes fantastic. I just love the taste of brick oven pizza. I remember back in the day they(’96?) they used to hand out pieces of raw dough for kids to play with. For«chain pizza» this continues to be my favorite in the Rockville area. I get it that service in this particular location does not have the greatest service(I’ve had my share of weird waiters here). I don’t know about cleanliness; it does not look dirty to me. I recommend to call and get the pizza to go which is what we usually do anyhow. They will give you rolls and the dipping oil to go.

Enjoyed it. Would go back. The service was good. The food was awesome. Best olive oil and bread around. Very accommodating in getting my Dad a healthy whole grain penne with roasted veggies. I had the lobster mozzeralla ravioli with a glass of white wine. Good pick for a quick Tues night dinner. It’s located at the White Flint Mall in Bethesda. Pretty high end neighborhood. Easy to get to and if arriving early enough minimal crowd though I suspect it gets jamming come the weekend hours. I would go back again. Nice place!

I agree with Todd’s review. The restaurant is very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff is attentive and informative. BP and I have only eaten here once and although the Restaurant is peaceful, I was running late that night and didn’t have a chance to really enjoy my meal. BP ordered a pizza and I had a pasta dish(Four Cheese Ravioli?). I can’t really remember the dinner, but that doesn’t take away form the wonderful food. It was really good, I promise. I’ll have to update this review after another visit, which HAS to be anxiety-free.

Welcome to high end Mall food. It’s not the type of place I would describe as «authentic» or «unique» however it’s great for a large group of people because of the space and that it served large quantity of «safe» and«boring» Italian food. Everything from antipasto to pizza to pasta was one-note. Antipasto — probably right out of a bottle didnt taste fresh. Pizzas were dried as cardboard. Pasta were poor executed. The only exception I would point out was the meatballs they were decent. The desserts too tasted like it came out of a box. Good thing was it was paid for. That’s what you get for franchised restaurant chains.

Stop by here on a weekend and expected a long wait for a table, but turned out we only waited for less than half an hour even though the place was buzzing. Found our wait staff to be very attentive and courteous. Really like the relaxing atmosphere here. We got their Shrimp Bella Venezia signature brick oven pizza with shrimp, herbs, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and lemon pepper cream sauce. Really loved the light and crunchy crust from the brick oven. Also get the Veal Parma with lightly breaded cutlet served over a bed of spaghetti, and that was excellent also.

Came here for my work’s holiday lunch and I definitely wasn’t impressed. Our waiter was eh. Not very attentive and looked as if he would rather be elsewhere. Didn’t bring us any little plates for our bread or salad until we asked for them. He couldn’t even remember who order what drink or entrée. Come on now. I ordered Bertucci lunch-sized pizza(pepperoni, tomato sauce, and extra mozzarella cheese-$ 7.99), which came with unlimited salad. The salad was okay, had a little too much dressing for my liking though. The pizza was okay too. Definitely didn’t have extra mozzarella as described, and there was one random olive in the middle. The crust was thin and not too crunchy. The lunch size portion is pretty huge. Four pieces, two of which I ate and felt satisfied. If the service was eh and the pizza was okay, why the three stars instead of two? Because their dinner rolls were that good! Probably the best roll I have ever eaten. Came out nice and warm, and you didn’t even have to add butter to it to make it tasty. Y U M M Y.

Now, this place is pretty plain for locals but if you have been born and raised in the west coast if you ever get a chance to try this place out I think you’ll have a totally different take on the place. I had their bruschetta and that alone had a taste unlike anything I have had here in SD, I also ordered the parmesan chicken entrée which was perfectly made and very delicious. I’ve got to say the service and food were top notch. the establishment was very presentable. this spot is not too far north of the diamond(D.C.) so if your in the mood for Italian food that’s not expensive and delicious this is a good restaurant to hit up whenever in the area. It is located in the White Flint mall.

The servers were not very attentive, and the food was very mediocre and not worth their prices. My chicken marsala was tasty but had a lot of fat.

«I was not ready for the fall Too blind to see the writing on the wall» This is one of the first times I didn’t trust the Unilocal reviewers. The décor suggested that this place had potential. Where the hell is Gordon Ramsey when you need him? The wait for 2 salads was exactly 38 mins on a Thursday night. I arrived to Bertucci’s already under time constraints and I was very aware of the time.(Had tickets to the Strathmore around the corner.) I checked into Unilocal 5 mins after sitting down. Every time I opened the Unilocal app it gave me the elapsed time that had passed after the check-in. The waitress was MIA the ENTIRE time we waited for the food and my first water refill was given to me nearly 5 mins after the meal arrived to the table. When the salads arrived, we got a half assed, rushed and insincere apology. I’m forgiving as long as you give me a real apology. The kitchen was open and the manager was seen yelling at the wait staff and the cooks. It was apparent that he had no management talents and he was certainly no Chef Ramsey. Here are the ingredients of the Salad Giardino w/Grilled Chicken: Grilled Chicken Mixed Field Greens Grape Tomatoes Carrots Cucumbers Peppers Red Onions Olives Shaved Cheese Balsamic Vinaigrette Now mind you, these ingredients were assembled on a Thursday night. While the salad was good, it wasn’t worth the 38mins it took to deliver this to the table. Literally shoved the salad down the pie hole and made a mad dash to the car. Ever make a grilled chicken salad in your own house? Yo do the math. Is this Bertucci for you? *Arrive an hour before you think you’ll get hungry. *Bring your needle point, favorite book, iPad, or crochet because you’ll need it. *Also consider bringing a snack on a week night while waiting for dinner. *On a Weekend, I can only speculate that you’ll need a military MRE ration. Once it wears off, your food will be at the table at some point. If the above suggestions do not sound like an options, consider finding an alternative.

Okay, same situation as most other ppl here… originally planned to go to Cheesecake factory for my gf’s bday, but the wait was 1.5 hours so we decided to go to Bertucci’s instead. The wait was supposed to be 15 minutes, it was only more like 5 which was good. I haven’t been to a Bertucci’s chain restsaurant in a long time and I had remembered their pizza to be quite delicious, especially the mozarella cheese on the pizza. Oh boy, the waitress was average, barely came to our table but I guess we really didn’t need much either. The food took 40+minutes to get to us, good thing us girls were crazy and munching on bread that we didn’t notice. The bread was probably the best thing there — i normally don’t even eat the bread at restaurants(cut down on the carbs) but this was piping hot, fresh from the oven! So delish, i ate two! I ordered the Portofino individual sized pizza. By the time the food got out, our pizzas’ cheese was already slightly cold/hardened aka not melted cheesy gooieness when I take each bite. The pizza was not as juicy and the tomato sauce this time and i personally felt the pizza was too saucy. I asked everyone else how they felt about their dishes and everyone said it was«okay» aka nothing amazing, but just that… okay. They had gotten the Chicken Parm, the Pucillo pizza, spaghetti Primavera, and the Baked Tortellini & Chicken Gratinati. We also ordered the Sangria — not good, too sweet, too much cinnamon and very watered down with not enough citrus/fruits. A friend commented that it was just like a sweet juice, with no alcohol. Everyone’s dishes were very average and bland and took forever to come out. Since it was my gf’s bday, they gave us a complimentary tiramisu. The cake part was definitely super dry. Obviously frozen, but for an italian restaurnat, absolutely terrible. This tiramisu was acceptable for a Chinese buffet. I thought I was imagining it when I thought the food that I’ve had at Bertucci’s at other locations was a lot better than today’s food, but then my gf mentioned that the Mclean Bertucci’s was a lot better and that she felt the pizza definitely did not taste as good as other locations. I felt the same way!!!(with the Mclean and the Reston one as well — both as pretty good).
