Georgetown Valet

Very nice lady. We put in three dresses (business, not formal, so the type of dress ZIPS will dry clean and press for $ 2) and left.
When I checked my ticket after I drove off, I couldn’t believe she had charged $ 41 (actually $ 37 with 10% new customer discount to be fair).
Had to be somewhere, but looped back around within the hour to pick them back up. Lady was a little taken aback, but my wife explained even in New York, we never paid anywhere near this price for this sort of garment.
She returned the dresses nicely without a problem. In her defense, while $ 13 was the highest price we found, others quoted$ 10.50, and $ 11 also. Amazing.

I decided on this dry cleaners based on the great reviews on Unilocal.I called the cleaner ahead of time and told them I had two dresses with a dirt stain on them and wanted their help. They told me to bring them by so I went that afternoon. After seeing the dresses, she told me she would not wash the dresses and I should try myself. She accused me of the stain being very old so she refused to help (the stain was just over 1 week old). She also told me to go buy oxyclean and try myself…
It was very frustrating that they refused to help me, even though my garment says «dry clean only». I understand if they are unable to get out the stain but to REFUSE to clean my garment after driving 30 minutes out of my way just to go to this dry cleaners was a complete frustration. If you have a stain, go to another cleaner that is more willing to try and help!

Absolutely wonderful customer service! I took a silk top here with a large stain that another cleaner was not able to get out.
When I picked up my top, it was in perfect condition with no stain! Lovely woman that works there as well. I will definitely be back and recommend this place to others! Thank you Georgetown Valet!
