I bought one pair flats and one pair of boots online. They were on sale. I got them in the mail and got to try them on the next day. They were tight, though I ordered my 8.5 size. So I decided to return them and will order a size up. I didn’t want to send them with mail so I went to this store to return them(as I normally do with other brands that I buy them online). I got to the mall the lady in the store asked if I got them on a reduced price. I said yes, she said she wouldn’t able to do it for me. And that I have to send them back in the mail even though on my receipt has the bar code which reads«in store return». I found it ridiculous as MK is one of the big brands but has the crappiest return policy. With coach I didn’t even have to present the receipt, they just helped me with the return. I’m done with this brand as a whole.

This Michael Kors has the worst customer service that I’ve experienced in a long time. I dropped a bag off for a basic lining repair since my bag was still under the one-year warranty. The girl said the bag would be ready for pickup in 6 – 8 weeks but said it was almost always sooner than that. I called at the 8 week mark when I still hadn’t heard from MK, and nobody could give me an update. When I finally talked to a manager 9 weeks after dropping the bag off, I was assured that it was being sent to the store later that week. Apparently they didn’t have the part in stock… What part? Thread? Anyway, I didn’t hear anything for another two weeks. When I called again, they said it was in and had been ready for a few days, but nobody bothered to call me. Then, when I went into the store to finally get my bag 11 weeks later, there were about 4 useless sales people who refused to get my bag until the manager was available. Finally, another sales associate said she could get it. No apologies, no nothing. This MK is terrible; go to any other location and save yourself a big headache!

David the Manager & David perhaps the Assistant Manager(yes, they have the same name) and their lovely associates«The Floor Crew» made my visit simply fantastic. Due to finding out that the battery warranty I previously purchased for my MK Watch from Kay Jewelry Store ended up being a waste of money,(there’s always a hidden agenda aside from the plain black & white print)…I opted to go to the MK store for some input. Hindsight is always clarity. David informed me that they send out their watches for battery replacement & I could be better off for convenience & price point to go around the corner to the«Watch Guy». & since he refers many of his customers to him, I followed suit. I took advantage of David’s good customer & asked the best avenue to get my MK Dog Chain repaired as MK doesn’t do repairs. He said to give a him minute & he went to the back. He returned & told me he thought he saw the same Dog Chain in stock & was going to exchange it for me… well how about that? I was transparent that it was a gift from a few years back & for him to offer the exchange, was very kind. He suggested I ask the Watch Guy to refer me to a Jewelry Repair person in the mall when I go for my battery. & the icing on the cake of my iced out Dog Chain… David informed me that if I couldn’t get it repaired, he’d exchanged it for me with a piece that was comparable. WOW! Upward bound from kindness to extreme great customer service. This makes shopping & spending money at MK, so worthwhile especially for my specific preferences for the brand. I made mental notes of my next purchasing items & told David & Crew I’d be back soon. When the in store experience is absolutely great, it makes the«sometime» headaches of shopping online not as frequent :-) Tyson’s MK store has a good staff as well, but this store really outdid themselves… you know where to find me Unilocal FAM! Thanks David & Crew, I’ll be be back for my Jackie O inspired Specs & other goodies soon. FANTASTICCUSTOMERSERVICE!!!

Hello there, well i had to come here and say it since its hard to find a nice salesmen or women with great customer service. I went to the Montgomery mall location and«Crystal» was there to help me. Such a great person and so nice. I wanted to thank her and let everybody know that she is great and ask for her whenever you decide to go to that store. Eghbal Akhlaghi

One of the worst shopping experiences I’ve had in years. I was specifically looking for a gold or perhaps tortoise shell bracelet to compliment my Michael Kors watch. I like the brand. The store is very attractive, although I am used to making my MK purchases at Nordstrom. This was my first time in an MK store. I walk in stand by the case for about 5 minutes; none of the young adults who work here seem to be terribly busy. I just got the feeling they were waiting for someone else to take the lead on helping me. One girl in a tight orange dress walked right passed me, smiled but never stopped. She was too busy profiling and modeling her dress. The petite girl with the dark curly hair finally comes over and shows me pieces on display. Right in the middle of me trying on bracelets, this man comes over asking for our opinion on the purse he was considering purchasing for some girl. The sales guy had no real control over the situation. In my head I am wondering why he walked all the way across the store to bother us, there were other women over there? This man was rude and offensive, as he was looking for validation, for making this«big purchase», he honestly did not want an opinion. I picked the plainer of the 2 bags out of modesty just to get this man out of my way so I could continue what I was doing. Well he told me my opinion was not helpful. The immature sales people were at this point gathering around with smirks on their faces, to see if I was going to shoot something rude back at him. I simply looked at the man and said well if you already knew what you wanted then why walk all the way over here and ask me? I IGNOred him after this. The young lady in the tight orange dress could have been more proactive in helping out her male coworker by guiding this customer, not letting this man run loose through the store disturbing customers who actually intend to buy something and don’t need an hour to decide on one thing. I was heated that these fools were standing around looking at me and him, hoping for a fight, instead of doing their job. This isn’t an episode from Atlanta Housewives people. To add insult to injury the girl starts helping someone else, when others were available to do so. I just walked out, and then she comes running after me telling me the bracelet is $ 100. After I left«Michael’s WHORES», I went to J. Crew and Cache to make accessory purchases. Both of which stores offered me wonderful customer service and respect. I will NEEEVER step back in that store again after being treated like that! The ignorant man that they all laughed with and encouraged will be the same a$$hole returning that bag after about a month, after its been used and damaged, trying to get his little pissy coins back. There is only one man in there that was doing his job and was very professional. He was busy and had no time for foolishness. The rest that were there«working» need to be sent to Unemployment Hell, they are bad for business and don’t respect the customers’ money, or even have the sense to realize who is likely to come back and spend and who isn’t.

4.5 Stars — As with most stores, it’s only as good as the manager. Here, the manager is super sweet and very flexible(unlike standard MK store policies). My husband who knows I’m in love with MK and everything related, he decides to surprise me with a paid of MK high heeled knee high leather boots for Xmas. Of course they’re gorgeous and all, just not my style and I’m trying to keep away from heels, I have enough as it is and need to increase my collection of flats. I was heartbroken when I saw the receipt stamped as FINALSALE and only exchangeable for another size(last part was handwritten by the manager on her business card). I was sweating walking into MK2 days after the hubs had bought them. I was preparing for a battle(which I’m pretty dag on good at sometimes). Luckily the manager remembered my husband, I said the shoes just don’t fit like I’d like them to, she immediately gave me a sales associate(he felt like a newbie) and said I could exchange for anything I wanted. Say WHAT?! I was ecstatic! I ended up with a paid of Hamilton Riding boots in Mocha and they pulled out at least 7 pairs of shoes for me to try. I went to the register to be checked out and it took an eternity and I think my SA assumed someone else would check me out and that person assumed I was still being helped. Then my SA finally noticed my boots were MIA, he went into the back to find them… all in all, this took over 30 minutes and I was pretty sick and dehydrated and hungry… I wanted out but I patiently waited. I was merely appreciative of getting them exchanged period. Fast forward a couple weeks and I’ve worn the new boots to the ground already and I finally decided to take a look in my left boot b/c it felt like I was walking on a rock… little did i know there’s a huge bump under the insole and I can’t get it out. I had noticed the bump when walking before but assumed it was a rock that kept moving around in the boot. So I took it back to Mont Mall, spoke with the manager again and she called in to other stores to have my same size shipped to the store. I should be getting a call from them when they arrive(it’s been 4 business days so far and it’s not there yet, I called in to ask today). I’ll write a follow up review! So far I’m optimistic :) fyi — this is not a lifestyle store, so they don’t carry everything the MK line has to offer :(
