Awful. Just awful. I really can’t fathom any of the positive reviews for this tremendous mistake of a restaurant. We ordered a decent array of apps, dumplings and buns, several of which were cited as recommendations. The Peking duck Sammy was mostly lettuce on a large, doughy seeded flatbread with just a few small shreds of duck and a dollop of hoisin sauce. And that was the closest thing we ordered that approached being flavorful. The scallion pancakes were extremely greasy, limp and dull. The shrimp dumplings were killed by an overly thick dough. And the steamed buns(chicken/Napa and vegetarian) had such a minute amount of filling that they were like eating a wad of wet cardboard. The spicy wontons were so over steamed they were one mass off mush drowning in a super greasy, bitter garlic mush. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. When my niece tried to order a bubble tea, she was told«we’re out of the bubbles, would you like bubble tea with no bubbles?» Um … No. The décor matched the food, too … Think a cross between an old rundown motel on an off road and furniture rescued from the curb after a rained out yard sale. After a similarly disastrous visit a couple years ago(very shortly after it opened), we had decided to give the place another try after reading some positive reviews. Those must be friends and family of the owners. Let’s count this visit twice: a second and last.

We went for lunch and they were out of everything. No vegetables or sauces… basically anything to make a complete dish. We ordered vegetable dumplings and an egg roll since they were pre-made/frozen. I am not sure if they were having an off day or on the verge of going out of business. Either way we won’t be returning to find out.

Ordered stewed pork with rice… They served me 7pcs thin slice pork… SMH. One not happy customer… Not going back anymore… Peace out…

Been here a bunch of times but never really reviewed it. It’s a pretty run of the mill Chinese restaurant. There are kids studying in the back areas of the restaurant and the owner chilling watching some Chinese dramas on their downtime. Overall, food isn’t bad. But it’s not exceptional by any means. Which is okay because it’s not pricey. Can come here for random dumpling, bun, and Asian desert fixes for cheap.

Ordered a lot of food for very little, all of it seemed to be cuisine I could not find elsewhere in the Valley. Great vegetarian options. Staff is extremely patient and helpful. Have them recommend something!

The waitress told me the noodles with sauce had peanut butter in it. I thought that maybe it was like a peanut sauce and that it was a small amount of peanut that would compliment the dish. NOPE. THESAUCEWASSTRAIGHTUPPEANUTBUTTER. The whole thing tasted like pure peanut butter.

Mixed feelings about my visit. It’s tough to find an authentic dumpling house outside of Philly, NYC or northeast NJ. Soup bowls were delicious and the soup dumplings were very tasty. However we also tried the Noodles w/sauce and spicy wontons. The noodles with peanut sauce tasted and looked more like melted peanut butter and oil. The spicy wontons should be renamed to garlic wontons topped with more garlic and oil. There was no spice and barely resembled a wonton/dumpling. If we come back we’ll stick to the soups and some of the other more traditional items. I couldn’t definitely go for more soup dumplings. It was also freezing cold.

Not sad that I came here because I should have known better. I really wanted this place to be one of those«hole in the wall» family businesses with hard working people and great food. The food is just poorly made. I can’t believe they serve this type of food to people. I ordered a Coke and they gave me Diet Pepsi… I’m not even that fat :(. We ended up taking a few bits and leaving everything else untouched. We paid for our food and the 2 ladies were puzzled that we left our food uneaten on the table. At a place like this you really can’t complain about the food because you really should have known better. I really wish that this place turns around and starts to invest in their restaurant. It’s heart breaking to see working people or business owners not even recognize that the product they have sucks. I would like this restaurant to strive to produce great food and become that hole in the wall that everyone is looking for.

So last night we had to drive an hour and into another God damn state to get dumplings… but fuck were they good dumplings! Just an FYI, if you’re calling your restaurant a dumpling house you are meant to have a variety of different stuffed dumplings! Anyway, boy did this place kill it! My husband and I had some of the best dumplings here, from your traditional juicy buns(soup dumplings) to having lamb dumplings and even chicken curry dumplings! Oh and the prices??? Ranging from $ 4 — $ 8 a plate! Seriously THEBOMB!!! Definitely will be coming back here again :)

Worst Chinese I have ever had. We ordered an appetizer and 2 dishes and each course was sub par. I’m the kind of person who doesn’t waste food but i couldn’t stomach my meal. Something as simple as the«beef» noodle soup was awful. I use the term beef in quotations because I have never tasted beef like that before. Don’t do it!

3 years later this place went downhill, I am sure it has everything to do with it’s location sadly. Unlike most business’s their vast parking lot is in the front and they are tucked way back off of Route 512. The last time my wife and I ate here I got what was once an amazing vegetable sandwich now it was two pieces of bread and a sliver of carrot and a tiny piece of a scallion. But today put the nail in the coffin for my wife and I. The Garlic Wantons are still good but my wife got what was supposed to be a bun stuffed with Nappa Cabbage and was essentially now just dough and a very small piece of cabbage in the center sometimes none at all. Not a worthy meal. I tried«beef» I use this term loosely over rice. First of all it was some part of a cow I have never seen before in my life.entrails.lung.I don’t know but it was gross and I had to cover it up with my napkin. The other pieces were seasoned good but also very fatty and very tough to eat. The mystery meat was next to the rice that looked like it had gravy on top but it was a peanut sauce. Also included two pieces of wilted Bok Choy. A really horribly disappointing experience celebrating the 5th year anniversary of our first date. Sorry Prince Palace we won’t be back.

We were very excited to try this restaurant hailed as «The best Authentic Chinese place to eat in the Lehigh Valley.» I’ve been to Flushing and Chinatown in NYC many times, and this place is not authentic and the food is worse than mediocre. I had the Peking Duck buns. The few little pellets of duck were an embarrassment. The«bun» tasted like wonder bread. Definitely not the rice bun I would expect. The staff must have expected a poor soup bun when they weren’t even served with spoons to catch what is usually very tasty soup that flows from a real soup dumpling. The bun was poorly cooked and tough and leathery in parts. I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised. 6pm on a Sunday evening and there was only 1 other table when we came in and we were the only table when we left. Next time through this area I think I’ll see if there’s a mall food court with a Chinese restaurant. It may not be as «authentic», but I’ll probably get better food.

It was Saturday night and we were starving. But we didn’t want the usual. Instead, I pulled up Unilocal and tossed the dice on an economy meal nearby. What a great decision that was! My family of 4 was seated promptly, the waitress was pleasant, informative, and accomodating. She even went out of her way to explain this was not your typical American style Chinese restaurant. My kids were jonesin for sesame chicken. What they got was far more than what they bargained for. Jasmine tea was complimetary and delicious. Meals were perfect portions and everything was a la carte. Even though I was full, I could not resist at least trying a recimmended desert. Final bill was around $ 25 for 4 very satisfied people. This place is a diamond in the rough. I may shoot myself for writing such a glowing review because I almost want to keep this little secret to myself. But, in all fairness, people really need to know what true Chinese cuisine is all about. Go. Go now. You’ll love it.

Really not that good. I have lived in China, and this place just didn’t do it for me. My girlfriend and I both went later in the evening(8 pm or so) and ordered quite a lot just to try a lot on the menu. The atmosphere was weird, there was not very many people there, and the lighting was just bad. This place is quite literally in a house. The food ** YouTiao(Chinese donut) 油条 This was quite possibly the only perfectly authentic thing we were able to eat here, it was delectably crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside, and it tasted just perfect. I highly recommend this, but it’s not worth just the trip to get this. ** The(Chinese style) Kimchi 中式泡菜 This stuff was good too, but still, not worth the trip for this. It was Chinese styled Kimchi, and so it wasn’t as spicy as the Korean version. ** Zhajiang Mian(Bean sauce noodles) 炸酱面 There was something a bit off on these noodles, it was just a combination of the flavor and the texture. The sauce was too oily, so it made it hard to eat something so greasy(and yes I know that this sauce is supposed to be quite oily, but this one was over-the-top oily) and the noodles just didn’t have the right texture. ** Pork and Celery Dumplings 猪肉芹菜水饺 Absolutely just not okay. The pork was(way) over-seasoned, and the celery was nearly non-existent. The dumpling wrapper was so thick that it made it almost gummy in texture biting into it. The flavor in general was Jimmy Dean Sausage-esque. Maybe that’s great for American breakfast, but not for a place claiming authentic dumplings. ** — Steamed Soup Buns 生煎包 These were also just not good, the buns had nearly the same consistency as the dumplings! That isn’t something you want from a Bun 包子,so this was also a big fail in our book. For authentic Chinese, maybe skip this place, for mediocre semi-authentic Chinese, then go for it.

My husband and I dined here for an early dinner on Saturday. We arrived and the place was empty. The place is a tad rundown and décor left something more to be desired. The service was swift, but odd. We ordered 2 waters, veggie buns, veggie fried dumplings, pork and cabbage fried dumplings, and a red bean sesame dessert. The dessert and pork buns came out first, which was odd because my husband ordered both. I tasted the dessert, and the outside was good, but I’m not into the red bean filling. My husband thought his pork dumplings were good. Next the buns and veggie dumplings came out. I found the dumplings to be a tad thicker than I’d like, but still pretty good. I especially liked the buns. Nothing really stood out enough to make us rush back, but it was less than $ 20 for 2 people(and a doggy bag), so if we were in the neighborhood we might stop back.

I really wanted to like this place; the reviews were good and the prices looked cheap. I figured the poor reviews on here were due to an intolerance to Authentic Asian restaurants that don’t have all the western atmosphere. I was wrong. I arrived at the restaurant around 8pm and there was only one car in the parking lot. We had to check if the place was really open, despite the neon sign. Walking in, the location looked large enough and replicated the common feel of most authentic Asian restaurants. A mix of dingy booths and tables under strange lighting and random«art» on the walls, this was not an unfamiliar look. But there was no music playing and the only noise was the sound of the cooks. We ordered the spicy wonton, steamed shrimp dumpling, fried beef dumpling, and juicy bun. The spicy wonton was drowning in an oily garlic mixture. The steamed shrimp offered very little shrimp and lots of dough but somehow ended up being too salty. The fried beef dumpling was the only decent dish but entirely too greasy. And the juicy bun was practically inedible; «juice» was non existent, dough was plain, and the meat was some long relative of beef that was definitely old. The prices were good but that was pretty much about it. Oh, the parking was excellent too.

Want to eat a delicious, filling meal for super cheap? This is your new favourite place. We always get a couple plates each and barely break a $ 20. Great quality, fresh food, sweet service and a real homemade feel. Subtle flavours, hearty portions, really great quiet spot for a nice meal out.

This is the only place that has good soup dumplings, within 30 miles or more(at least). I was glad I stopped by, because I plan on making this place a habbit. From the outsode, it seems like you are in the middle of nowhere(you are). This place has a pretty good parking lot and nice size place with a very homey feel. The place doesn’t smell bad, like some other person mentioned before, i was preparing for the worst and then I was warmly greeted and very comfortable vibe inside. There are some younger students that study and read on the right side of the place and that is great, I love to sit and read in such a cozy place. The soup dumplings were so tastey, I can’t wait to stop by again. I had them tightly sealed and soupy. The only downside is the skin is on the thick end and I prefer much thinner. They are home made and you can taste it. The pork soup dumplings are my favorite. I did order the noodle soup and that had comfort, with some flavor. Everything came out just right, and the price was very fair. Ther service was wonderful, the waitress pays attention to detail and is kind as can be. Make sure you stop by this place, it is a must.
