Any place that makes REAL coffee eclairs is a place that I will love forever. Delicious! Additionally, melt in your mouth cinnamon pastries made with croissant dough. Same thing only with mini chocolate chips. Loved my beautifully made iced latte. Had the omelette with spinach, mushroom and Gruyère, quite tasty. Husband had the baked eggs which were over the top delicious. They had a creamy, tomatoey, goat cheesy sauce. The staff was lovely and very helpful. We had a bit of a situation as our family of five sat at two separate tables. They made it work and remembered everything we ordered. Forgot to mention, amazing beef bacon! Where can I buy that for the house?

My friend and I stopped by this place after lunch for some girl talk yesterday afternoon. She said its one of her favorite spots so I had to try it. It’s a cute little French café in a sorta busy part of Beverly Hills. The service was great! Very friendly staff. I had the almond milk latte and my friend had an espresso. We also shared the strawberry shortcake, which was delicious. Not too sweet, just the way I like it. We sat outside to enjoy the afternoon and our order was brought out to us in no time. I will definitely be back when I’m in the area!

Avocado Smash tartine was delicious! I would recommend adding a poached egg to give the dish an extra layer of deliciousness. The huevos rancheros was also surprisingly really good. My friend and I shared both dishes and were pleased with both, the coffee was also good! My only gripe was with the dessert. We ordered the strawberry shortcake which tasted stale and not very fresh, but since we had ordered it we had no choice but to eat it. As we ate it, we found a piece of hair. Not a big deal, they immediately gave us a new one. At this point, we were already over the dessert, but we decided to start eating the new strawberry shortcake since they brought it out to us. As I dug into it, I found ANOTHER piece of hair. At this point I was really grossed out. However, we didn’t want to be one of those customers that constantly complains so we just didn’t say anything. I don’t know what their health and sanitation protocols are for the bakers, but they don’t seem to be too great since this happened to us TWICE in one visit, which is far more than a coincedence. I would come back for the food, but would not ever order any dessert.

Amazing vegetable omelette! I think I gained 5 lbs just looking at the pastry case. The coffee is strong and the food comes out fast! A nice grab and go place for the neighborhood.

Chaumont is a cute spot on Beverly Dr. with good service(4 stars) perfect for solo diners or a quick to go order. There is also a beautiful pastry display, which makes it hard to pick only one. I tried the following: Raspberry Tart(4 stars) — I loved that the fresh, sweet, and in season raspberries were not covered in a glaze. The delicious pastry cream was light with specks of vanilla bean, and I enjoyed the sweet raspberry gelee in the center. I prefer Republique’s tart shell because it’s thinner than Chaumont’s. However, the tart shell still tasted good and was lightly sweetened. Pain au Chocolat(3 stars) — I like the chocolate to pastry ratio since there was chocolate in every bite. It was flaky on the outside and seemed slightly chewy in the center. I prefer Bouchon’s chocolate croissant. Dark Mocha(4 stars) — This was like an adult hot chocolate. It wasn’t overly sweet with bold dark chocolate flavor that complemented the subtle espresso flavor. There are other menu items available such as sandwiches and salads, which also looked good, and I’ll probably try another time. I’m happy to know I have another option when I have another pastry and coffee craving.

5 stars based on the fact that their croissants are the best in LA. I pretend I am in Paris whenever I eat one… which isn’t hard since the space is adorable and tres Parisenne. J’adore!

as much as I wanted to give it 3 stars I couldn’t because your the only one that makes a pain suisse. of all the times we’ve gone we’ve always come as soon you’ve open, but this one visit at 930am they were all gone for the day, wtf!, and we came all the way from SD. in fact the lady in front of us took the last one while she piled over two dozens pastries as if they were donuts. the people she brought it for probably wouldn’t know or appreciate what a pain suisse is, and probably threw half of it away. solution…JUSTMAKEMORE!, especially on Sundays. yes it’s time consuming to make, but if your only going to have 6 – 8 for the day there should be a vetting process on what pain suisse is, cause that lady would’ve have failed and at least we would’ve gotten it.

Previously, I wrote that Le Pain Quotidien had the best croissants this side of the Atlantic. After having tasted the ones at Chaumont, I am retracting that statement. These croissants have just the right amount of butter and a proper flaky crust. I can’t wait to try the pain au chocolat and the other items on the menu.

Good stuff. Had the raspberry tart and the breakfast sandwich. Seating is of course limited so you will just have to get lucky.

The best French bakery in LA. Period. I just picked up my flourless(but not flowerless) chocolate cake for Passover 2016. The cake is as gorgeous as usual. I have no doubt that it will taste amazing. Why is this night different from all other nights? Because my parents will love me more than my sister. Why? She didn’t bring this cake.

Excellent and well worth stopping into. Bakery goods to-go, or sit down for a nice breakfast or lunch. Everything is delicious and the service is generally outstanding. Lately, I’ve needed to do organic eggs, and that’s one of the features of Chaumont. I’ve had a couple omelettes here and both were great: Green Omelette, a limited edition or seasonal delight. It’s actually green from being chocked with broccoli and other veggies, and gruyère cheese topped with avocado. Plus, there’s an arugula salad atop it all. Healthy and hearty. The bread(a mini baguette) is awesome and for $ 1 more, get the specialty jam. Just do it – it’s so good. Coffee excellent, too, as you’d might expect. Another time, I tried the Vegetables Omelette; a stable on the menu. Totally delicious. Zucchini, broccoli, caramelized onions and goat cheese. Really good. I went easy on the goat cheese, and loved it. Turns out you get an arugula salad with this, as well. Mine came in a separate bowl… with a good amount of a balsamic dressing already on. This kinda threw me because there’s no mention of salad on their menu — and I would have definitely requested dressing on the side. Happily, a server swapped it out for me just the way I would have asked for originally. A good crisp bite. Took some pastries to go, and OMG, look out. It’s all so good.

Tomorrow’s Moroccan dish Had a chance to preview a beef, lamb sausage and vegetable dish over couscous. Incredibly fresh quality ingredients masterfully finished. This dish requires careful attention in removing certain ingredients at a time so as not to overcook. Spices are always just right or under for the healthier option. Chef Paul Bocuse would give this dish a thumbs up! Another beautifully crafted dish, Laila! Merci! For those with a sophisticated palate… outstanding!!! Flavor of this dish — Michelin level Update: see picture of croissant, turkey, provolone and fig spread sandwich for tomorrow 3÷30÷16. Sumptuous!

I have walked by and driven by this place gazillion times and just never tried it. So, decided to just give it a shot. Well, Unilocalers, this place sure deserve it’s stars because I am glad that I did stop by! We weren’t very hungry, but just felt like eating so we ordered the salmon poached egg with croissant, and strawberry short cake. To wash it all down, we ordered the Arnold Palmer ice tea and Earl Grey hot tea. The salmon poached eggs was good, but what was really great was the strawberry shortcake… OMG! It was creamy and just sweet enough with fresh strawberries. If anything, I would come back just for the strawberry shortcake… LOL. This is a perfect place for lunch or in-between breaks should you feel like having the munchies or just coffee. You’d order everything at the cash register/counter and they will bring your order to you. I would definitely be back to try other desserts. For sweets, I highly recommend it for now until I try their other stuff on the menu!

If I could give chaumont ten stars I would. This is a go to brunch spot for sure!!! It is clean, delicious and fresh! When we go we ALWAYS get a vanilla éclair, iced cappuccino and croissant with smoked salmon and poached eggs. The regular croissant there is absolutely perfect. Crispy and chewy and buttery and flakey. I love the avocado smash tartine with beef bacon — if ur feeling fancy get a poached or sunny side egg on top. The French toast was very sweet but I over loaded it with syrup so that’s prob my fault lol The Moroccan style eggs are also extremely satisfying, light and a great way to start the day. The owner is very nice and all of the people who work there show kindness and great service to all customers. The furniture there is really nice I love the ambiance with the big mirrors hanging, if it’s a nice day make sure to sit outside! If you would like to see more pics please follow my food ig: @nachewithjosh I will follow back! :)

Really good casual spot for meetings. Their food is amazing and fresh. I have come here multiple times and the first time I came I got their avocado toast. The bread is so fluffy and they put chili flakes, which is an added bonus. I added an egg too and it filled me up! I got the huevos rancheros the next time I went, and it was so light I didn’t get a stomach ache. I like this place for meeting with my friends. It’s centrally located in Beverly Hills. Parking is the only issue.

Super pricey but what do you expect in the heart of the 90210? Sorry, I meant 90212 =) We stopped by to get some croissants for our last day of French class and to show our teacher how much we liked her. There isn’t too much of a variety so we got a couple plain, chocolate, almond, eclairs, and choquettes. HolyMoly, this set me back about $ 50!!! The plain wasn’t as buttery as I would like and we know it should be all about the butter. They were pretty small, crunchy, but lacking altogether. I’ve definitely had better. At $ 3 a pop, well, enough said. Store is cute and bright. Can’t speak for the savory food but it sure did look delicous!

PAINAUCHOCOLAT you deliciously flaky pastry! I only tried one thing here but it was definitely good enough to have me coming back. the croissant layers were so prominent it was the perfect snack on the go you can order at the counter to-go but they also have indoor and outdoor seating & it seems like people were having full-on Brunch i’ll be back to try other pastries and the savory menu!

The croissants are the best croissants I have ever had in my life. Who is the baker here? God bless you, sir or ma’am. Your croissants are life changing and make my mornings bearable. Also, the spicy tomato baked eggs are the homies. What you do is you order the spicy tomato baked eggs and two croissants and you dip one of those croissants into the tomato sauce and then take the other croissant home. Then you repeat as many times as you can until your wallet starts crying. I love you, Chaumont.

This place has good food but it is wayyyyy over priced. 5 dollars for an éclair ??? What is that … An Americano is like 4 bucks. I guess we are in Beverly Hills but there are way better French places. It’s good overall.

We came to Chaumont for espresso and pastries and they didn’t disappoint. I’m not sure if I was still on a high from our Biebs celebrity sighting out front or if this place is just that good ;) I think it’s just that good and we’ll likely visit time and time again when in the neighborhood. They were out of almond croissants by around noon, so we shared an almond chocolate croissant — Good, but not my fav when compared to the other pastry filled with chocolate chips — long flat rectangular shape delightful satisfying, chocolate but not overwhelmingly sweet selection we shared. Our coffees were good, staff were friendly and helpful. Nice spot for a little coffee and convo and maybe some people watching on Beverly.
