They’re too expensive for what the food is worth. Will not allow you to tip their driver with cash.

Great food. The line can be a bit intimidating but, worth it. Also, the customers are a bit rude and bossy to the staff sometimes when I have only seen the staff being amazing.

This place is so inefficiently run. You literally have two wait in line twice, and it’s so time consuming. First, you have to get in line to pay, and then you have to wait in line to actually get the food. It feels like a cafeteria. When I go to a restaurant, I don’t want to feel like I am doing the staff’s work. Well, that’s how it feels here. All they need to do is when you go up to order initially, they should just asked you what sides you want. After all each dish pretty much comes with just a couple of sides, so they can just have a menu where you select which ones you want. A really stressful experience being there and would not go back.

Enjoyed a catered work lunch from here. Meats — Chicken schwarma — WOW~ definite winner. great seasoning schnitzel — heavy on the breading but good The piitas were fresh and great. Sides — Pickled cucumber with red onions and dill were yummy and sweet The chopped, minced with tomatoes(with lemon juice I believe) were also good. I loved the Moroccan carrots were also great. Another example of fresh, light ingredients I didn’t try falafel but looked crunchy and people liked them. The hummus for me was a little bland, mild but fresh I’m not sure what the cilantro and cumin-based sauces were for but they were yummy. Probably they were for the meat, but I was fine eating them sans sauce. The food seems a bit pricey but you get quality, tasty stuff. I’d go out of my way to eat in and introduce great Mediterranean food to a friend!

I love the place because I can see how my food is made. They have spacious dining area, good ventilation and lighting. I also love the motif of the facility designs. But not that happy with how the servers treat me. Lacked politeness and hospitality. I would credit how good they are on making orders but when it came to entertaining customers, thumbs down. I was a busy day actually but not relevant to welcoming us with«gladness» at least they must be happy they have us. After all, I wanted to be fair, I will give commendations where commedation is due. For the food? White cabbage salad, irresistible shwarmah in a plate with beef strips, mixed veggies, and dressing, and their ultimate Merguez baguette overload with melted cheese. Well, if you wanted to have a different experience, it’s still recommendable!

I loved this place! They had great food, many options, and are super clean. Their schwarma was very tasty and not too heavy. They also had some excellent salad options. A great place to go if you’re craving some Israeli food, it really brought back some great memories to my taste buds:-)

If you are looking for a good customer service don’t go there … Unless you are friend of the owner or some employe. My order was n.20 and they served till n.26 before starting mine. Just because I’m not Persian and I didn’t know nobody there. They were talking a laughing and they start preparing the order for«their friend ». I mean I’m a manger of one of the best restaurant in Beverly Hills and if I was working here a lot of people were going to lose their job today. I will never come back here again, poor service I feel sad for them

I love that place!!! It’s all taste like heaven. The best shawarma in LA, with the best sides ever. Whenever I’m in the area that’s definitely my first choice.

We were looking for a kosher place for my lunch partner. Counter Service, tasty Mediterranean food, falafels, shawrma’s etc the usual suspects. The shawrma was tasty, plentiful in both my pita and my partner’s plate. loads of veggies to put in to the pita and plenty on the plate. Honestly I wouldnt call this a destination place, there are so many of these type places, but if you are in the area, or are KOSHER this might be your spot

WOW that is some juicy shawarma! I just had a generously large, tasty pita sandwich for lunch and. I. Am. Satiated! Overflowing with meat, and just the right amount of cucumber, cabbage, and tasty sauce. And the pita… so soft! That’s because they make it… nobody does that, everyone buys it, these guys make it fresh. Is it the best ever, a destination for me? No. But it’s REALLY, really good. I would definitely eat here anytime I was in the area.

Just had lunch here today. Food is still amazing. Service and the layout of the restaurant as bad as ever. Pretty poor attitude from sandwich makers. The layout of the restaurant tends to make you run into everyone as you try to maneuver to your table. The parking situation is a hassle. There’s a lot but it’s wildly filled.

Wonderful people run this place. Come for the falafel, stay for the rose water punch. Get there at opening to avoid the crowd, because trust me there will be one, the food here is that fabulous. Also, a very clean and fun atmosphere. I recommend their sandwiches as well as plates! Ideal for the vegetarian as well as carnivore in your life. ;)

I’ve been driving by this place for a long time and I’ve always been extremely curious as to who exactly Dr. Sandwich is, I mean, if he(or she) is a self proclaimed doctor of sandwiches, I have to see if he or she is telling the truth… And when I realized it is a Mediterranean restaurant, my yearning to try it out only increased– HELLOOOOOSHAWARMA! Well I guess I should NOT have opted to go here on a day where I was in the WORSTMOODEVER…(So bad I would have slammed a door on a old woman in a wheel chair). However, at the same time, I guess it was kind of a test, to see if the«Doctor» could cure me of said mood. When I got there, the parking lot was JAMPACKED but luckily, there was complimentary valet… So that was a win! But my fake smile of appreciation(I told you, my bad mood has zero mercy) quickly turned into a downright SNARL when I noticed how PACKEDTHISPLACEWAS, and the woman screaming numbers… Yeah, I wanted to rip her head off… Any ways, I got extremely confused with how to order, there is one line at the cash register and then another line at the food window(much like you might order at a Chipotle)… And while probably any sane person would have gotten it, my being crazy pissed about nothing, clouded my sanity, thus I waited in front of the glass for a good ten minutes before realizing I was an idiot. Luckily, a girl who noticed my extreme stupidity and craziness(I was talking to myself at this point) let me cut her in line(clearly she’s been on this I GIVEUP crazy train before)… Any ways, let me just get right to the food… My friend’s falafel, in her opinion, was awesome! I had to order it for her because she couldn’t come in with her dog(stupid– WHYBRINGYOURDOG? I could go on ANOTHERRANT about that, but this isn’t a review about dining etiquette) and I never had falafel before so I have no clue WTF sounds good with it… Thus the dude making the pita said«just trust me» and in my ANGRYSTUPOR, I was not well equipped to make executive decisions! Turns out trusting the guy… Perhaps he is Doctor Sandwich… Was a WIN cause my friend loved it. As for my shawarma plate. I asked for chicken but I most certainly got turkey… I’m not sure they were even offering chicken, and while it was tasty and I definitely licked my plate clean(which also came with cucumber salad, hummus & bans ganoush), I believe I hoovered it because at that point, I was HANGRYASALLHELL as well. If I weren’t about to rip off everyone’s head in the joint out of extreme hunger and my sour puss mood, I still would have still cleaned my plate, because the turkey shawarma was good, it was just… Different. And I HATE wasting food. So did the Doctor cure me? NOPE. Not at all, I was still pissed off throughout the rest of the day, but did I at least kill my curiosity about this place? CERTAINLYDID. I love crossing off BOOKMARKS on my Unilocal account, so, DONE&DONE! PS– everyone who works there wears scrubs. If you want to trick your friends and family into thinking you work in the medical field, work here.

I had the chicken schwarma plate and it was pretty good. I love how crispy and flavorful the meat was. You can do some clean eating, low carb if you stick with the slaw and various salad/veggie options. They were really nice to me and my 5 month old son.

Unfortunately I’m not impressed. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate which came with three sides, and hummus. The shawarma itself consisted of chicken fat … Had someone written a review about how fattening the meat really is here I wouldn’t have spent 17.95 on a plate of Mediterranean food that did not taste very Mediterranean whatsoever. Nor did I consume even a fraction of it. I went with a friend that’s full on Kosher so I expected the Isreali salad and so forth but the lack of flavor and the quality of meat really had me confused. The greatest attributes of this place are that it’s located in Beverly Hills, has a highly accessible parking lot, is extremely clean on the inside, and the fresh pita is literally AMAZING. It’s the only portion of my meal that I ACTUALLY ate. Oh and the presentations not half bad. My plate looks beautiful if only it were actually that good! Aside from the aforementioned, I do not see myself returning. It actually surprises me that people in Beverly Hills would consume such fattening meat, with little to no flavor, and a fusion of multiple cultures that somehow are supposed to reflect Mediterranean cuisine. No thanks. Till next time Unilocalers…

Finally! A place in LA(/in the USA) that can make a good shawarma! If you’ve had shawarma in the middle east, and loved it, you have to try this place. They do it right. Their chicken and their turkey shawarmas are both great. The pita bread is a little thick, but it’s still good. Major props to Dr Sandwich for nailing the shawarma. The title of the restaurant is dumb(unless you consider shawarmas to be sandwiches), but the food is outstanding.
