Home Sweet Home. I’ve been coming here for the past 4 years for lunch and occasionally for breakfast, and my love affair grows more each and every time. Friendly, fast, and affordable, this busy eatery is worth every one of is FIVE stars! I’ve come to know the staff by name, and they know mine, and always make you feel so at HOME. Their Hot Chicken Club is my ultimate favorite. Expertly cooked and piled high on wheat bread(usually served on a French Roll, but I ask for wheat so I can feel skinny LOL), it’s the perfect midday meal to eat on their cozy outdoor patio… or at your desk thanks to their quick and courteous delivery! I’m also a huge fan of their Greek salad with chicken or salmon, and their BBQ Chopped Chicken Salad is fantastic. With options like All-Day Breakfast, wraps and quesadillas, authentic Greek food, and more, there is something for everyone at this gem of a café on Beverly Drive!

How does the Cheers theme song go again? «Making your way in the world today takes everything you’ve got. Taking a break from all your worries, sure would help a lot. Wouldn’t you like to get away? Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name, and they’re always glad you came. You wanna be where you can see, our troubles are all the same You wanna be where everybody knows your name.» Well fortunately you don’t have to seek out a fictional basement bar in Chicago to have that experience. Just pop into the very special Beverliz Café. What this precious, cozy, charming café lacks in square footage, it makes up for in heart… big time! The staff radiates warm hospitality to every guest and treats regulars like family. Even the cooks in the kitchen were joyous and sweet… as I stumbled straight into them on my search for the tucked-away loo. The owners, Art and Anahit, are humble and kind and so generous to everyone. I had the Veggie Kabob plate and scarfed it all up. Delicious, light, fresh, tasty, healthy. Yum! I loved the food, the environment and the people. Best of all, after my meal, I carried with me a feeling of contentment through the rest of my day that came from being in an environment with people who truly care for others and show it through the service they offer in their work. The prices on the menu are so reasonable… but the experience itself is priceless.

Took wayyyyyyy too long. Ordered eggs and it took them 50 mins(timed it). The place was practically empty or we would understand. When they finally brought the food, half was cold and the other half was burnt. Food was whatever, nothing special. Didn’t check on us once, I had to get up and ask were our food was.

Nice little café. It’s a two minute walk from our house. Love coming here. Friendly staff and good homemade food. Small suggestion: make those OJ cops a bit bigger, they’re too small.

I did not particularly care for the sandwich I had today. The turkey did not seem fresh. I did however like the French fries. I will not be back.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would!!! What a horrible experience. With all the new wonderful hip and trendy places around here why would anyone bother with coming to this place with the horrible service and bad attitude they are serving up! After asking to speak to the owner(the woman who is apparently one of the owners) told me they are not available and that I would have to speak with her. She could not careless about my satisfaction and in fact lied to my face and told me that she did not care what I thought. I asked if i could quietly sit and whisper on my phone while the table next to me was 3 very loud patrons clearly making much more noise than me! She pointed to the sign on the window and told me no phones allowed. I had already spent over $ 20 there and was just wanting to sit in a quiet place to make an important phone call. Her attitude was so disrespectful and uncalled for. I asked her if she preferred I leave and she nodded yes!!! How can you treat a customer this way. My phone call was not disturbing anyone… If anything the 3 loud people next to me were causing a lot of noise but hey it’s a restaurant not a library!!! I left and told her I would give them a bad review which made her proceed to follow me out to the street yelling about how she didn’t care and that her reviews are all good!!! Well not this one!!! I am ALL for supporting small local businesses but when they have no customer service skills and act as if they could not care less about their customers, I prefer to spend my $$$ elsewhere!

I LOVEBEVERLIZ! I come here for lunch almost everyday and they have delicious specials that add to their giant menu that I never get tired of. I can go on and on about this place but I would have to say that my favorite aspect of this charming little café would be that I can come here for lunch and feel like I am taking a vacation from my hectic job for 45min, then its back to the real world. Anna(the owner) is so kind and accommodating, shes kind of the life of the party there. She makes for such a friendly and family-like atmosphere with the lunch regulars that come in everyday with me. I read the other negative comments about their«poor costumer service» but honestly that is just because they have so many orders that it is hard to cater to every single person the proper way. Take this from an everyday costumer who sees their everyday demand. Here’s the Key People: Order 15 – 20 min in advance so that you don’t have to wait when you get there! That’s what I do to avoid the long wait. They are more then happy to take you order early so you don’t have to wait and run out of time on your lunch break. Also, there is a reason why they are also busy, because so many people love the food and the atmosphere, unlike other snobby restaurants on South Beverly drive. All and all, I recommend this restaurant to anyone whether your on your lunch break, a nice casual family outing, or even business meeting!

Great food at inexpensive prices, but a very hit-or-miss service. I’ve been coming to the Beverliz café for years. They have an extensive menu that is pretty uniformly tasty at very reasonable prices — particularly considering some of the surrounding, Beverly Hills options — and a charming little seating area that’s great for sitting outside. The food itself is good, if not particularly adventurous — pretty much your standard collection of burgers, salads, and sandwiches — and their bbq chicken sandwich with carmelized onions can’t be beat. The menu’s also large enough to practically guarantee something for everyone. But the service is very hit or miss. The owners, when they’re working, are great — friendly and attentive — but there’s an equally good chance you’ll have to go find someone to take your order, refill your drink, or ring up your bill. Similarly, calling to order for pick-up can be a roll of the dice. Sometimes you get through, sometimes the phone just rings and rings… or worse, is immediately hung up. That said, when everything goes smoothly, this is a delightful little place to have lunch.

If you want to have a good tasty breakfast on a Saturday without waiting for hours, this is the place to go! I wish they were open on Sundays as well. My favorite is hands down the Flaky Croissant. Best combination of eggs and cheese on a perfectly baked croissant.

Taken here by a local. About a block or so south of all the commotion on S Beverly Dr. Very fresh, healthy menu choices. Great flavor. Pleasant, friendly staff. The owner Anna knows my friend and treated us all like we were her personal guests. The doctor(Notorious MD) usually doesn’t cross the line but I actually gave Anna a hug when we left. If your looking for a tasty, fairly priced meal without all the Beverly Hills pretense and price then give this restaurant a try ! NMD(Notorious MD) approved.

From a regular customer who has been coming here at least once a week. I have to say their customer service is bad, it was not very good before, but now it’s just terrible. I have ordered a dish I have never ordered here before(a basic Greek omelet). When it came out, there on the plate was thin egg omelette and inside a bunch of barely cooked tasteless vegetables. I tried a bit and didn’t like it at all. So I called the server, and asked him if it was possible to change the dish because it’s not what I thought it would be. I was promptly informed I will be charged half price for the plated I didn’t like(it’s was $ 8+ so $ 4+). Seriously how greedy are you to loose a regular customer over $ 4. Not to mention this is the first time ever I asked for a dish change after a year of coming here. On top of everything, when the lady owner came over she advised me that all ingredients are«fresh» and directly told me that«all other places» use canned vegetables and that’s I probably don’t know how the fresh veggies taste. Seriously? What does she think I eat at McDonalds unless I come here? What does it have to do with not cooking her«fresh vegetables» anyways. I’ve also been told the owner doesn’t like to waste food. Well should I feel guilty and eat it now? Am I a relative to talk to me that way? So bazaar.

I give this resturant a five star! Talk about food delight! If you live in Beverly Hills you are so lucky to be able to stop into this lovely café at any time! We stopped here for breakfast because my husband had an audition for a TV show down the street! To all my acting friends, this is the spot to stop while in Beverly Hills when you have auditions: in between or on the way to your destination! This resturant is filled with love and light! I just loved the food! I ate off my daughters plate and my husbands plate and I was full! They have large servings and the coffee was so delicious! I will come back time and time again to try more items on the menu! Breakfast is served all day! I can’t say it enough! I love this place!!! Please visit this CAFE!!! You can’t go wrong!!! Yummy!!! Delicious! My palette was more than pleased and my stomach was full! Savory Delight!

What a great little hidden gem on A Beverly. There was plenty of seating, everything was delicious and they had a great menu of sandwiches, salads, and Mediterranean type dishes. I ordered the Lamb and it was perfect. They also let me costumize the veggies with my dish which was perfect. My girlfriend for the salmon philly which was salmon on rice with mixed veggies with a special sauce. Very tasty. I also got a great hazelnut latte. I would absolutely come back again!

I’ve come here several times for weekday brunch with great friend. It’s always impossible to find close parking on the street in spite of the weekday morning(because of mostly maximum 20 minutes) though there is a public parking nearby. Every dish is quite healthy, proper quantity, and of course very tasty. It’s neither greasy nor salty. Not only variety of breakfast and lunch menu that can be served all day but also an affordable. Quick and friendly service. It’s not decorous café but small cozy place. For sure I’ll try more items in the future.

A wonderful little café tucked in amongst the ritz of the BH. Food is tasty and the owners are amazing, working well together and very welcoming! Try the specials! I had the salmon, with rice, and also some unsweetened iced tea. It also comes in different styles, you can get the salmon and a bunch of different ways. So if you don’t like Middle Eastern style, you can get it more of an American way. It’s also right near the free two hour parking up the street. So your overall cost of the meal is going to be much cheaper than any other option in the area. It’s also consistently good. There’s also indoor and outdoor seating. It is only open for lunch just so you know. The chicken plate’s also good, I’ve had the same thing middle eastern style with hummus!

omg. I reeeeally hate to do this but like the previous customer who had a bad experience with the CUSTOMERSERVICE here. I gotta say, when I dine there its ok, No complaints, and the WOMAN owner or manager there is ALWAYS pleasant and attentive. BUTTHE MANager or at least claimed he was the manager who also refused to give his name was ABRUBTANDRUDEOVERTHEPHONEANDOFFEREDNOAPOLOGY and was incessant on blaming ME the CUSTOMER and said his delivery guy didn’t get lost… or come to the wrong address. hmmm… I live 7 blocks away… even if he was walking blindfolded it wouldn’t take that long!!.my door faces the street and my chair is next to the door that Im still sitting at now… I was still offered no apology nor discount… MYFOODDELIVERYWAS2HOURSLATE. Sometimes(and very rarely) I crave a hearty salad instead of a burger and fries. After going on an eating binge in LA, my belly needed a much needed break from fattening foods. Enter: Beverliz Café. Nothing fancy inside, just some ordinary tables and a kind staff. Beverliz has all of your standard lunch options: salads, burgers, sandwiches, etc. Luckily, they had my favorite kind of salad– BBQ chicken chopped salad(BBQ chicken breast, chopped tomato, black beans, com, basil, shredded cheese, tortilla chips, & romaine in house BBQ ranch dressing). And for good measure, my friends and I split an order of fries. Fries weren’t the best I’ve ever had but still decent. The salad was very large and filling. Decently priced. A good choice if you’re looking for a lighter lunch.
