If you live in SoCal, your skin is bound to feel the awesome effects of dry temps and the ever-present sun(oh, what a tough life we lead.) SO. You must be in need of some good skin products. No better place to come than here… the store smells refreshingly lovely and the staff is knowledgable, nice & helpful. Their classic Shea Butter product line is a must-have! There’s almost no fragrance to it and it’s rich & creamy but not-oily for avid applications on hands. I was introduced to the new Ravissante fragrance today(officially rolls out tomorrow) and loved it! Think light floral tones that’s not overpowering. Def. on my next-to-get list~

(Review for Glendale Galleria, never been to the Beverly Hills one) So I remember one time I used my neighbors lotion and it was best lotion i ever used, I looked at the brand and realized it was French. Then while I was at the Glendale galleria with my mom once, and i saw the store brand of the lotion i used at my neighbors! So I rushed inside and fell in love with the place. I’m not usually a body shop/body works kinda person but this place is so cool! The staff are really friendly and they ask for your skin technicalities and know exactly what to recommend. And their scents are so nice smelling and original. I bought the riz(rice) mattifying face lotion and it works wonders so far.

Of course it’s wonderful… yes, I know it’s a chain and you can find it anywhere… yes, I’m a total devotee of their Ruban d’orange soap.(I’d go anywhere for those little globes of orange gold!) I’m an admitted soapaphile(I don’t know if that’s the correct term… but you get the idea. In my book, the best and purest come only from France, specifically Marseilles, but Provence… ahhhh. Before it gets too weird, yes, you should go there. If you have not been to L’Occitane before, try it. You think it’s full of stuffy old crabs who like European crap. It’s not! I beg you, go in, sniff a few, wash your paws at their sink… then I’ll see you there… you sexy clean convert you! Now when people walk by you they’ll say, «mmmm who smells like the best soap ever?»,(You’ve walked by these people and wondered it, I know what you’re thinking! It’s just never been you… till now). Now you know my secret… The sales help at this location are very friendly, chatty in a good way.(young and blonde, if that motivates you…) (Put on your British accent here) Do come down and visit them, you’ll be awfully glad you did…(you’re SO civilized, Basil!)

LOVELOVELOVE. L’Occitane is the best for great, relatively affordable body/skin care lotions and potions. The staff at this particular location is VERY friendly and knowledgable. A+

l’occitane en provence is probably one of the greatest facial products i’ve ever purchased… it’s not sticky, it’s not gooey and it doesn’t even smell bad … the products have never failed its test… i’ve probably tried almost every brand name out there, and i have been quite pleased, which makes me want to come back for some more… it’s WELLWORTHEVERYPENNY. if money is an issue, think of it this way, ask for a sample, so at least you can try it to see if it compliments your face, and secondly, i say, it’s not really $$$ if you think of it in the long run. your face needs all the attention and all the love it can possibly get, do yourself a favor, and don’t waste your money on useless junk but on this product alone. AND … oh, not to mention, they have complimentary facials on saturdays, not those full on facials, but those simple ones, like 30 mins? i think it’s worth it, it’s free, and hey, you get to try some great products. purchased the ultra moisturizing care spf 15(day) & ultra rich face crème(night) for $ 70 to refill my empty hands… the day crème is actually a lot thinner, so you don’t feel like your gunking your face with lotion, but the night crème, SEEMS like it’s thick, well, it ISRICH, but once you dab some on your face, it literally seeps through, and doesn’t feel heavy at all … and i swear, it can only do so much. trust me, don’t fool yourself and say that there’s nothing out there that can serve you justice. they have stuff for oily skin, normal skin, dry skin, senstive skin, and for those who first see signs of aging and for the older people, anti aging, so there’s something out there for everyone! give it a try… you WILLNOTBEDISAPPOINTED.
