I came to this location to get a microdermabrasion diamond tip facial from Donna. It was great! She was very kind and answers all of my questions about the process and kept me informed while she was doing it. Donna recommended that I add on some extra services and I went for it) b/c I’m going through a period of breakouts). He whole thing was enjoyable and the rest staff was pretty friendly.

I bought a groupon for a facial with mircrodermabrasion. Initially, there was a mix up with my appointment. Someone came in at my scheduled appointment time opposed to hers which was a day later. The receptionist gave her my spot and after driving 45 minutes in traffic to my appointment I was very upset. However, the next day I spoke with the manager and owner and they were able to accommodate. The owner came in when the salon was closed and gave me a facial herself. She also did not use my groupon facial so I can use it at a later time. The facial was excellent and my face feels amazing. Even though there was a mix up at the beginning, I am giving them 5 stars because they really took customer service to the next level and made up for it. Highly recommend!

I had a micro and gold mask facial with Samantha. As a facial treatment virgin Sam was kind enough to walk me through the process and explain everything she did, whilst answering all my skin related questions. I felt very comfortable and loved how cool and refreshing the mask felt. That’s what Cleopatra must have felt like back in the day. I came in with a voucher and do believe I was treated just like any ‘full paying’ customer would have been treated. Thanks

I went through the website and made my appointment for 1÷18÷2016 at 11:00am with Neda. I arrived a few minutes early to fill out the necessary form and was seated next to another young lady in the waiting area. Apparently, the young lady’s Aesthetician didn’t come to work today per Philip the front desk guy;(which Philip stated as to why her appointment was running 5 minutes behind and that she would be seen by Neda) so my appointment was subsequently«canceled» to accommodate her?! SO, after sitting there for 15 minutes, Philip told me that I would«have to reschedule my appointment.» Wait… What?! I understand things happen, however HER appointment should have been rescheduled versus mine. This was a gift and I was REALLY looking forward to the 24k gold facial. HOWEVER, I will not return to a place that lacks professionalism and courtesy. My time is precious just like the anyone else and having my time wasted is so unnecessary. My friend, who purchased the facial, called and spoke with someone who wanted to offer a complimentary facial in addition to my gift. Umm, I’ll pass. So, I hope my friend enjoys both! Fool me once, shame on YOU… whose to say this won’t happen again…

I went to privileged for a 60-minute microdermabrasion diamond tip peel with ultrasonic facial therapy. Like other Unilocalers I felt a bit lost when arriving, Lari Salon is clearly written on the door and Privileged is written off on a side wall. I thought there may be a few salons but once you walk to the top of the stairs you’ll be at Privileged. Luckily for me the receptionist has psychic powers and called me by my name so I knew I was in the right place. Okay maybe not psychic powers but he could tell I was lost and was on point enough to know I had an appointment. I made my appointment online and found the new client form easy to fill out. I was in the room quickly after I arrived and met the magical, Elizabeth. Elizabeth loves her work and it’s wonderful to be in the(literal) hands of a professional who loves what they do. I noticed a lot of reviewers felt uncomfortable that their aesthetician offered additional products mid-facial. I thought it was awesome! If you have the chance to treat yourself or Treat YOSELF you should absolutely go the Treat YOSELF route. You also have the option to pass. I went for the pumpkin peel and collagen moisturizing mask which Elizabeth recommended and I’m happy I tried it out. My skin feels like buttah. This isn’t a facelift, I didn’t walk out looking like Cindy Crawford(past or present version) or any other classic beauty but my face feels great and I can say it’s well worth the price. Bonus — I got tips on local happy hours ! As a new SoCalGal it’s nice to know about local spots which is just one of the ways Elizabeth and the fine fella at the front desk went above and beyond! Bonus for you– Elizabeth is pretty new to Privileged, book with her before everyone finds out how wonderful she is and she fills up.

Update: Beware if you leave negative reviews you will be harassed !!! For that I reduced to one star. I was a client of Privileged for a while and felt it was good value for a regular micro dermabrasian. I put up with the constant«up sells» and so– so customer service. But, after a while I just couldn’t deal with the bombardment of raised eye brows, not appreciated as a regular and most of all unfriendly service from the estheticians. The small room that I was put in during my last facial sealed the deal that I would no longer return. It was noisy and I could hear everyone talking and it was right next to the bathroom.(it wasn’t very clean…) and was not a relaxing experience. My recommendation is that the staff treat customers more graciously and be grateful for return customers and remember to smile every once in a while… it would go a long way.

I used a Groupon a while back and thought I would give this place another try. WRONG!!! I will say the lady delivering my services was pleasant but the experience over all was not great. It truly is a 35 dollar experience with a non stop push to upgrade. The kicker was the lotion that was used on my face after!!! I was so shocked and will never ever be back.

My overall experience was okay. Even with reading previous reviews, I still had a difficult time finding the entrance. I was standing outside the Subway at 11:58 for a 12pm appointment walking back and forth. I finally called the salon and was told to walk in door with«Lari Salon» to get in. I rushed upstairs and was greeted by a friendly receptionist. I entered room around 12:15 and was left till 12:20 when Sal started the treatment. I asked her to still end the session at 12:55 because my meter expired at 1 pm. She kindly offered to run outside and pay it so I received my full time. After cleansing, she put an enzyme mask on and left the room for an additional five minutes. She came back and offered the additional masks she could apply, which I declined. She then did some extractions and applied the gold mask and left the room for another 15 minutes. I felt since I used a groupon, I got what I paid for. No toner, masks, massage like all other normal facials have. Sal was personable and friendly. The downside was she spent half of the service not in the room. The service just lacked the spa feel.

I got a diamond tip microdermabrasion through a groupon deal last night… and I woke up to two patches on my cheek that are BURNED! I literally have to put neosporin on my face. Don’t get me wrong, Samantha was nice and seemed knowledgeable but I’ve never been burned by a microdermabrasion(and I’ve gotten the diamond tip microderm at other places multiple times). I’m use to getting a little red for maybe 12 – 24 hours after a facial but man, I’m so upset. I even added an upgrade to ‘hydrate’ after the microderm but obviously, it didn’t help the burns. Ugh hope this heals before the weekend. :( EDIT: horrible customer service btw. They text apologizing and failed to follow up when I was willing to go in again for a calming facial since I peeling like crazy. Ugh. So disappointing. Never again.
