Good, quick Indian food. It’s seriously just what I was looking for on this particular evening. The food tasted fresh and the sauces/various chutney were delicious! I’m a sauce fiend so naturally I covered my food when it didn’t even need it. Three stars because the food was not ‘wow’ and the girl working the counter was not nice, warm, friendly, or truly any other positive adjective.

Quick spot to grab a yummy Indian meal. Service is FAST. I’d barely sat down before my order arrived in front of me. Saffron has pretty basic offerings that are served up at a combo plate(2 choices + rice or salad — $ 8.95) or in a bowl(single entrée over rice — $ 6.95). There is also a very small«tandoori specials» menu with just three selections: platter, combo or salad. These are slightly more expensive than the basics. The bowl comes with a lot of rice and it is very filling. You can choose white or brown rice for no extra charge or put it on a salad for 50cents extra. Don’t skip the chutney bar on your way out. All of them are delicious. I also love the fresh chili blend — it is spicy so you only need a little! The main parking garage on beverly is right next door, it’s free for 2 hours if you arrive prior to 6pm or $ 5 flat after 6pm. There is also plenty of meter parking.

I have been going here for a long time. They have very reasonable prices for such healthy food and there samosas are one of a kind.

Not a fan at all. Brown rice and white rice were undercooked. Chicken tikka was dry and no option for spice level. Service was blah. She could care less that the rice was undercooked. One of them was sweet. I know Indian food, this is generic crap. So sad this place is allowed to be a representation.

During my last couple visits, I noticed that the quality of food has gone down. More specifically, the chicken tikka masala. My go to order is the combo plate with chicken tikka masala and saag paneer. The saag paneer was fine, bu the chicken masala portion consisted of 4 tiny pieces of dry and bland chicken. It looks like I might have to start looking into other restaurants to satisfy my Indian food cravings.

We decided to come back here and loved it once again. It’s located on a great strip of BH and love that it is casual Indian food. It’s so hard to find that in Indian food! The make all their food mild but have a chutney bar where they have a super spicy chili blend to add to your food and it definitely adds a lot! They also have a green chutney(minty) and a red chutney(sweet). My husband got the chicken tikka masala bowl and I got the tofu tikka masala bowl. I think the food tastes healthier than average Indian food and the portion is good enough to fill you up but doesn’t make you feel like a gluttonous balloon afterwards like some Indian does. It’s affordable, about 6 – 7 bucks for the bowl and a dollar for naan I believe. I think it’s 2 bucks more for the plate where you choose two entrees. Food comes out super quick too but tastes fresh. We got our free Unilocal check in too which were delicious samosas. Yum! Parking was metered on the street, $ 2/hr. Also there are free parking garages around BH to utilize before 6p for two hours. 5 dollars flat rate after 6p. Will definitely be back. Not sure if they deliver take out but I think they cater.

Indian fast food quick fix! Staffs are nice and place is relatively clean. Food is alright, not that great but not horrible neither. It is pretty heavy and made me really sleepy after lunch which doesn’t really happen to me normally when I eat Indian food. They take credit cards.

I stumbled upon this place because I was looking for cheap and quick food in the area. And I am happy to say I got my fix. I called in my order to go & when I got there it was ready. Perfect. I ordered the tikka masala and a side of naan bread. I also got a free samosa for check-in. Whoo hoo. The tikka masala was really good. Juicy chicken and well seasoned sauce. Mmm. A really good bang for your buck! If I lived in the area, this would definitely be a go to. *there’s free parking in the garage nearby*

Mmm mm mm. Like the Chipotle of Indian food. Kind of. Just fast Indian food. But don’t be mistaken the food is spectacular. Everything is 100% except the brown rice is 60%. The vibe would be nicer If they played more cultural music. Also cashier/waitresses seem a bit miserable when taking or serving orders. Maybe just smile? And don’t seem super bored to take my order?

This place is not bad but I am a bit confused by all the 5 star reviews for what is essentially a cleaner but less authentic fast food Indian place. It’s also not as cheap as people say since Indian food is usually pretty cheap and the portions here are small. Its probably relative to the Beverly Hills area. While the curries were pretty tasty I thought the chicken in both the tikka masala and daal was incredibly dry. I like that they offer brown rice although I’m not sure it was basmati. Since I ordered to go I totally missed the chutney bar and the lackluster service did not mention it to me. If I worked in the area I would come back but otherwise I’d rather get more authentic food.

The Reviews do not lie, one of the best spots to grab lunch in LA. The location is best, close to everything and the prices are amazing. We were a party of 6 people and we found seating easily, everyone ordered a platter(around 12 $) which had awesome curries, Naan and appetizer. The tea is very good if you love drinking India Chai. I will surely return back without a blink !!

In one of my very experiences with Indian food, I have to say it was excellent. This place as most people describe it as fast food style that may or may not be authentic but I loved it. There’s plenty of options and combinations to choose from. Don’t bother looking for parking, just park in the structure that is 2 hours free. I ordered the combo plate with Chicken Tikka Masala(5⁄5), Channa Masala(4⁄5) and a salad. Trying to stay healthy, I missed the rice and it would have made it a better dish. But tasty nevertheless. Tip: Dont miss the garlic naan and sauces, it is a must!

Great food for such a GREAT price. I got 2 curries + rice + naan for about $ 11. The portion sizes were great and I was filled after half finishing my first curry. The best part is that this place had about 4 vegetarian options as well as a few meat options. We tried all 4 vegetarian options by both getting the 2 combo plate. I ended up getting the mango lassi to soothe the spices. The drink was the perfect size and the smoothest of texture. The whole meal was wonderful and I was very pleased with my overall experience. Our order came out about 5 minutes after we sat down. The service was quick and the food was great. I wish they had one of these in Westwood so I could get a quick bite of Indian food to eat.

I was trying to find a quick bite to eat during the busy lunch hours in Beverly Hills when I saw Saffron and decided to check it out. Lo and behold, Saffron had delicious Indian food for cheap in fast food style! I ordered a soft drink to satisfy my thirst and the chicken tikka masala bowl($ 6.95), which included a choice of white or brown rice, to satisfy my hunger. For the Unilocal check-in, you get a free samosa after 4PM. For its cheap price, the food was worth it. The chicken tikka masala did not disappoint! The chicken had a strong, delicious flavor and the tomato sauce was moist to cover the rice. I was definitely full by the time I finished my bowl. Service was friendly with smiles all around and very quick, which was expected in any fast food place! While I was getting the tamarind sauces at the sauce bar, the food was already there by the time I got back to my seat. For parking, there is a parking struture where you can park for free for 2 hours. Furthermore, there is metered parking nearby. Overall, come to Saffron to get your Indian food craving, fast food style!

Cheap but amazing Indian food(I dined here with my friend who is actually Indian, and she gave it a thumbs up). Get the rice bowl with chicken tikka masala. It’s a pretty large portion and pairs nicely with a side of garlic naan. It’s not much of a sit down restaurant, and it has more of a Chipotle-vibe on the interior. Saffron is more of an eat-and-go place, but the food is 5 star! Parking is easy as there is a public parking garage on the same street.
