Everyone in this shop is awesome. I always get a great haircut, and the best shave. Although I am not into sports, I enjoy chatting with the team about the latest movies and news. The banter and energy between the team here is outstanding.

Great place to cut your hair! Open early so it was the perfect spot for me. Love the finishing touch of the Steam Towel. Feels so great and relaxing! Price is good too.

I love to go to this place. Chris, Kosta and the staff are always very accommodating, remember you and ask about how things are going, very entertaining and funny and of course do a great job with a cut, shave and hot towel. Bring your kids and/or friends to these guys, they’ll take care of you. Good people and service.

I’ve been going here basically since they opened and it they have never disappointed. Chris always has good people working for him and they always treat you good. If ya like sports that’ll help because the small talk is always flowing. The hot shave feels amazing and the hot towel at the end of every cut puts the perfect finishing touch on everything.

Walked right in for a haircut, sat down right away and made great conversation with the guys that work there. Classic example of what a barber shop should be, hence the name of the business!

I just walked in for a haircut today. It literally took 10 Minutes to wait and also 10 Minutes to get a haircut. They are friendly people. I would definitely go there again.

This place is kind of old school, hence the name«Classic Cuts». The guys in here do a really good job with fades, and have never messed up my haircut. They also take their time to do it right, and even do a hot later shave with hot towel. Pretty cool. I’ll keep coming here for sure.

This is an Old School barber shop with retro or current fashion style trends. Often you see a father and his son getting a cut sitting side by side or the little first timers sitting on their booster seats. How many places can you go seeing 70 year old guys and high school age kids leaving happy with their cuts. Usually its old school or the latest styles but Classic Cuts seems to be satisfying all. my take on what makes them great: Hot towel Service They Trim the Eyebrows Hot lather neck shaves I sometimes get a hot lather head shave as I like the bald style They always clip the little stray hairs on my ears that might be popping up which shows that they are really focused on your over all look No one is ever aloud to cut the line and there is never huge line PG13 Barber Shop talk. There is clean conversation about politics, cars, sports, and family. Jokes are told and laughs are had. Everyone gets involved; customers in the chairs, the barbers, and even the customers waiting to get their haircut. The best part is everyone is encouraged take part in the conversation. Young or old your opinion is valued. There is not a huge difference in the barbers. You can actually sit down with any of them, get a great cut, and expect the same attention to detail from each and every one of them. Traditional hot lather; single blade razor shaves. I experienced this when I brought my dad for his father’s day gift and we both had a shave. You haven’t lived until you’ve experienced the pleasures of a great shave at a barber shop. Last the barbers themselves. These barbers have become my buddies, people who I’m not only comfortable with, but who I look forward to seeing each week. All I have to say when I sit down in a chair is, «Give me the usual!» I know I’m getting a Classic Cut.

I have found my new barber. I have not been loyal to a barber for the past 3 years since I moved from Concord, MA. I have not found a good barber near where I live in Westford, MA. I am guilty of visiting the large SC chain of hair cuttery’s in the area. The service was always hit or miss and usually receive a rushed cut. This was not the case with Classic Cuts. I recently tried Classic Cuts which is close to where I work at the Cummings Ctr in Beverly. I got a great cut from my barber Phil. He reminded me of what going to the barber should be like. A real haircut with real tools and real shave from a straight blade. The cut was not rushed, he took his time to make sure my hair was cut the way I like it. The hot neck shave and warm towel at the end was the proper way to end a cut as well. Very happy with my haircut and with the pleasant service.

The only thing favorable about this place was the price. The haircut I received was absolutely terrible. It took an hour of requests with the barber to get my head not to look like it was caught in a blender. The barber’s clipper skills were adequate, I’ll give him that, but the fade from a 1 to scissored top did not exist. No proper fade = MUSHROOMTOP. Seriously embarrassing. Then my top was horrendously uneven, and I spent an hour at home after fixing it myself. Clipper skills: 6⁄10 Scissor skills: 1⁄10 Keep in mind there are multiple barbers here, so you may get one better than the one I had the displeasure of getting my haircut from. But just be weary when you go here, you could end up with a horrible haircut like me. Not going back unless I want my head shaved.

I’ve been working in North Beverly for about 2 years now and I’ve always gone to Sportsman’s. After the fourth time in a row of first having to go back to work to wash all the clippings off my head after they insisted cutting my hair after putting gel in it then fixing the spots they miss when I got home that evening, I have decided to abandon them for another barber. After going to Classic Cuts, I think I’ve found my permanent spot now. The guy cutting my hair was like a perfectionist. He repeatedly went over my hair making sure he made everything even and straight. This place is great and I’m definitely going back here from now on.

I tried Classic Cuts after reading Eric S.’ review and have now made this my go-to place for my very frequent haircuts. The staff is certainly a cast of characters who love to chat about pretty much anything. They are welcoming, personable, most of the time downright entertaining, and perhaps most importantly, regardless of whose chair I end up in, I get a great haircut everytime. And boy do I love the hot lather neck shave followed by warm towel! You don’t get that kind of treatment at any of the large chain places. Definitely give this place a try if you’re shopping around for a barber in the Beverly/Danvers/Peabody area.

I just moved to Peabody on the Danvers line from Malden and didn’t know where to go for a good haircut. A friend of mine owns a place down in Somerville but thats too far to drive just for a haircut! I checked out this site and Classic Cuts was by far the choice I was making based on the other reviews. I am extremely happy that I made this decision! Beverly is a new area for me but it was VERY easy to find this place! I went in a little early on a Thursday morning and the place was empty. I was immediately greeted by Dan and a friendly girl who both worked there. They both obviously loved to interact with customers and I carried on a great conversation with the both of them throughout my visit. He gave me the EXACT haircut that I had asked for and by the end of it I felt like I had known him for quite a while. I will absolutely go back to this barber shop and to Dan every 2 weeks and plan to make this my regular place. I recomend that you do the same!

I may have found a new barber shop. My overall, first-time experience with Classic Cuts was excellent. The shop’s clean and inviting, Chris, the owner, was great to chat with, and I got a great cut out of it too! Bonuses included: warm shaving cream and straight razor to clean up the back of my neck followed and a warm towel wrapped around my head just before finishing. I will definitely recommend this to a friend and look forward to my next visit.

Until today, I wasn’t too picky about where I went for a haircut. Generally, I’d get a buzz and be in and out in like 10 minutes. But today was different. I usually don’t have a beard but for 8 weeks I let one grow. Finally, I’d had enough and wanted to see my soft, baby-face again so I had to seek out an actual barbershop. I searched Unilocal for places in the area and, after a little more research, found I liked the website of Classic Cuts. I walked in and they took me fairly quickly. I have to be honest, I never got a shave from a girl before so when the girl there took me, I was really interested to see if she would destroy any lingering notions I had regarding, «shaves are a thing of male barbers.» Well, she did… and with flying colors. Buzzing hair might seem like a no-brainer but it’s not. I use 2 different depths and if they don’t get the fade/part/line right, even a buzz can look awkward, but she was really good with the buzzer(sounds like a gameshow, huh?) and I was really happy with it. When it came time to shave, it was, honestly, one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a barbershop. After a quick buzz of the major foliage, I pretty much got to just lie back, close my eyes, and feel what remained of 8 weeks of undergrowth being delicately, and expertly, whisked away. I wish I remembered her name, but whoever she was, she handled the razor with great skill and care and after the first few scrapes, I just relaxed and almost went to sleep. ;) Every, so often, she would put a hot towel on my face to reheat it and loosen up the pores. And she took great care in the sensitive areas like the corners of the mouth and around the edges of the nostrils. At the end, a colder towel was applied to tighten up the pores and an after-shave(optional) was applied. Cut was $ 14 and Shave was $ 16 — Total $ 30. It is TOTALLY worth it. Even though guys can just shave their own faces for free, I strongly recommend every guy should try this at least once. It’s like 20 – 30 minutes of mini-pampering but it’s not the floofy spa kind of pampering so you won’t feel as if your manhood is being threatened. You’ll feel more like Tony Soprano afterwoods. ;) Ok, all the other stuff, like the parking lot, etc, is just fine and doesn’t need to be covered here. Great cut, great shave, friendly personalities, very professional, and I’d recommend strongly to ANYONE — even the«Bearded Lady» from the Topsfield Fair. ;)

Nice place, friendly barbers, had a cute girl cut my hair and she did a real good job – not sloppy and fast like some places. Men’s haircut: $ 14
