I tend to agree with some of the recent poor reviews. I have come to this Dairy Queen regularly over the last 30 years. It is almost sacred to our family, and many childhood memories revolve around this place. The last several times I have come I have received poor customer service from the 18 year olds working the counter. They seem legitimately annoyed to have to help me rather than carry on a conversation with one another. In addition, the last time I was there, there were kids smoking a joint on the curb. What has happened to this place?

This is the closest DQ to us but it would have been worth it for us to drive to Middleton where they CONSISTENTLY make our blizzards correct. For the price we are paying we would like to get the right amount of mix-ins. We have paid extra for extra mix-ins and the bottom half of the blizzard was just soft-serve. Last night I didn’t want to order a thing because of this but decided to splurge on one of the new blizzards with the fudge core and was so excited until I got in the car and stirred it up to find it was a regular blizzard that I paid more for. If they moved through orders more quickly I would have went back and re-ordered… There is often only one person REALLY working hard and the others are«cleaning» until they are absolutely needed to help out. They rarely smile or speak to customers. It makes no sense, you want tips then earn then. You want business then make the orders correct. I’ll drive out of my way to Middleton from now on until I hear there is an adult supervising this location.

This was one of the worse DQ experiences but all the employees are like 18 so really it’s stupid I’m even complaining but if I wait for 5 minutes my blizzard shouldn’t be melty or unblended when you give it to me. There was a bit of a rush right as I came in so the wait was cool but when it’s just me and another dude waiting please take the extra 30 seconds to blend it, I mean I don’t like when you tip it upside down anymore than you like doing that but had you done it with this one I’m pretty sure it would have landed on the floor.

DQ raises my IQ. Well not really but I feel smarter grabbing a yummy turtle sunday on a hot summer afternoon. I wish there was one closer to home but whenever I’m in the Beverly area and needing a cold treat fix I stop in. Young staff but always pleasant and quick with service. Thumbs up!

The best soft serve. A twist with crunch coat is the way to go. Friendly staff

This Dairy Queen is one of the last surviving ones on the North Shore area. It’s staffed with high school kids. Surprisingly the service is quite decent from the staff. Strawberry Cheesequake is the only thing I order from here. Probably explains why I have excess weight.

Dairy Queen Beverly is YUMMY, the service is PHENOMENAL, and the price is REASONABLE especially for the size you are getting. I love going to this DQ in particular because it is always clean. They have outside tables and plenty of parking. GREATICECREAM=ONEHAPPYGIRL

You are my Milady, Dairy Queen. I just had the honor of joining you on your B-Day. 25 years and 25 flavors of your sweet complex blizzard my Queen. Your bountiful peanut buttercups combined with vanilla soft serve made for a synergistic explosion in my mouth! You are the most beautiful Queen in all the land. Mirror Mirror on the wall, who’s the sweetest of them all, DQ!

i love to write about places i used to work… although obviously not a healthy choice the nutritional information is there so you at least know what you are eating. knowing the owners, since they are the same as when i worked there, you can be assured that this place is CLEAN. they are very good about that. dq has so many syrups, candy, etc it’s hard not to come up with something you’ll love even if the soft serve is only vanilla and chocolate. just don’t go for the hotdogs, people very rarely get them so they’ve been sitting in the freezer forever, nobody really can make them well, and they are simply pain to make compared to the frozen treats. and yes we would have discussions and compare who makes better blizzards, milkshakes, banana splits, etc. but just the thought of making a hotdog(and usually you can tell who will order one, it’s a certain type of weirdo) sent us racing to the back so the other person would have to do it.

Sometimes, I just feel the need for a DQ soft serve with chocolate topping. I just have to keep myself from eating the whole thing before the chocolate hardens completely. They also have those Flurries which are so good, but calorie-wise, I don’t think they are too wise to eat that often. It is great how they put the nutrition information poster up in this store so you know how many calories you will consume from each size and flavor.
