Mike’s Pizzeria

This has become our go to pizza place. My family loves the pizza. My husband is a huge fan of the option of sweet sauce.
You have to order one of their delicious salads just to get the fresh pita bread. It’s so insanely good.

Food is pretty good, but very overpriced and staff is horribly rude. We were weekly repeat customers and I got so tired of the customer service that I stopped ordering from them. The reps continuously hang up on you, orders are often wrong, no phone etiquette, nothing to say but RUDE.

We ordered a large sausage pizza and a small onion and pepper for a total of $ 27.8*.
We really enjoyed their pizza crust and sweet sauce.
We found the price to be a little high especially since the sausage pizza had about 3 little sausage pieces per slice.

Best pizza I’ve ever had! Very personalized– I ordered a mini sweet-​sauce pizza with pineapple on it and it was to die for *-* I highly recommend coming here!

I’m giving this place a zero out of five stars. I’m make to give it a star. My wife ordered food for her and the kids, and when she was eating her salad, there was a receipt at the bottom of it. Someone else’s trash was in her salad. When she called back to talk to the manager, the first person, a woman, was nice and was going to credit her next order. When we called back to say just refund the money, the owner/​manager was rude. When he came to get the salad, he refunded the money. Will never, repeat never, eat there again! And we’ve been going there since it opened. It use to be good.

The food is good, but the prices are very expensive. I got a mini steak tip salad and it was over 10 dollars. Way too much money for the size of the salad.

A great choice: Protein Power Salad. An abundance of very tasty grilled chicken pieces on a bed of crisp salad greens with sliced hard boiled egg and avocado pieces. Served with two types of homemade dressings and a piece of excellent store made pita bread. Also recommended: cheese steak subs, Try the souvlaki: pieces of spiced pork with pieces of mixed fresh vegetables and sauce. Also worthwhile are the pizzas. Fast, friendly service at reasonable prices. Offers delivery service in the Beverly area.

Used to be good — now the food is sub-​par at best. Pizza is revolting, globs of cheese, tasteless, lousy crust (who made/​bought that?), and EXTREMELY overpriced. I could get a GREAT TASTING pizza at Bertucci for the same (possibly less), and if I want delivery — ditto Prinzis.

I got the chicken kabob salad which was not bad, but certainly not good more like below average, but what was worse was the Kiss 108 soundtrack and useless over staffed teens at the counter.. If you want a better salad and experience go to Prime Roast Beef on 114 in Danvers, as a matter of fact Mike’s should go there and see how a great Greek salad with chicken is made and have his employees watch the counter help to raise their game…

If you want a wide selection of food, this is the answer. Great pizza. Salads are good too. I had a gyro the other night. WAY too much sauce. It made it too messy and soggy. And they should put lettuce on it. The chicken parm is nothing fancy. Fried chicken tenders with mozzarella and sauce on top, but it really is tasty!

LOVE. Mikes. Honestly order here multiple times per week. Only downfall is no online ordering.

Mike’s is new to Beverly. My employer is in Gloucester so I was going to Mike’s long before the Beverly store opened. The food is consistently good though the prices are a bit high. I have noticed ordering the steak tip salads or steak tip rice bowls that the portions are a bit smaller then they used to be. I would recommend Mike’s because they make the best pizza shop/​sub shop food in Beverly. Just be aware theyre expensive.

Prices have gone way up, & food on our last visit was «So So». Almost twenty nine bucks for a small calzone & regular (for 2) Greek salad? Way overpriced for a take out joint, especially since the food was nothing special. Also, it’s a good idea to check your order when you pick up: paid for a Greek salad, & found it to be only a skimpy Garden salad (mostly Iceburg Lettuce), with a couple of tomatoes, a couple of cucumber slices, & 3 olives. Calzone was OK, but only average at best. There are so many take out places in Beverly: you can find better food, & much better prices, without looking too hard.
The only reason that I didn’t give 1 star is because Mike’s offers the choice of regular or sweet Pizza sauce, & a choice of thick or thin Pizza crust. That made me return a few times. But with the So So food, & the (in my opinion) very high prices for take out food, I won’t bother going back.

Their food is good but their manager is extremely rude and hostile. We had a pizza ordered wrong, so when we called to get a new pizza they gave us a small when we ordered a large. When we called to get the order right again she gave us attitude and hung up on us. We called back and told us we were wrong saying «who cares whatever you want». We walked down to the store to get our money back and she gave us more attitude telling us we wrong.
This is one instance where the food doesn’t make up for the service. I hope I can talk to the owner about this as they have lost a personal and corporate customer.

I am consonantly calling in orders for a local business where we order at least $ 30 to $ 40 worth of food. I can say that 9 times out of 10 something is wrong with the order. Not to mention that the customer service is terrible! They are short on the phone, slow and incompetent. Today we ordered 3 salads that are suppose to come with a pita and silverware each. We only received 2 sets of silverware and pita for 3 salads. We always pay via credit card over the phone and we always seem to have to do it twice.
Then get a horrible attitude when we are inconvenienced by having to say it twice.
On top of it the quality of the food is inconsistent. Some days after dealing with the horrible customer service we get great food. Other days when we receive horrible food that’s not worth dealing with the crappy customer service.
Save yourself some frustration and pack a lunch!

Local Greek/​American pizza and sub shop. Well staffed by a beat and energetic people. quality ingredients reasonably well prepared. Worth putting on the list for a lunch alternative.

We’ve ordered from here a few times and I’ve been in a few times. Each order was different and all the food was tasty. Their steak tip salads are fantastic as are their roast beef sandwiches. Prices are okay and inline with any other delivery/​take out place in the area.
Delivery takes a little longer than other places in the area so pick up is recommended.
Service was nice enough though.

Worst experience of my life. My boyfriend and I just left and are extremely disappointed with Mikes. We love the pizza and the different varieties they have. We tell everyone all the time how great they are. However I called in a pick up order tonight and they told me 30 minutes. I’m in the restaurant business so I knew it’d be busy on a Friday night. We got there 32 minutes after and waited almost another hour because of how busy they were. I finally went to the young boy at the register to ask him if he could check my order. He never came back. I gave it another ten minutes and said I’d like to stop the order. So no manager, no apology, just my credit card tossed back at me. I will never be back and I can promise to tell everyone about this experience.

The food is very good. The salad options are great and the steak is yummy.
However, they have made a mistake 3 seperate times on our order.
Today is probably the last time we will order from them.
They made a mistake on 2 different things in our order. One was actually sending the wrong salad all together.
We called to have them redeliver the CORRECT items.
It is now one hour, 30 minutes later. NO food.
AND they actually make you give back the original, incorrect food.
We have called twice. They still aren’t here.

The food is ok but the people at the registers often add charges for things that you have no idea are extra charges, This happened to me on three occasions and i’ve stopped going there totally. In each case I insisted on a refund for the secret charges. They were quite hostile about this. The manage could not even show me a place on the menu showing that these charges were legitimate under any circumstances.
Their prices are high to begin with! Let the buyer beware!
