May Mee House

Good was pretty good. Best chicken and broccoli I’ve had in Maine so far. Crab rangoons are great. Delivery is fast.

Ordered the pu pu platter for 2 and definitely enjoyed it! Good food and inexpensive, even having it delivered!

I’m not as impressed with the May Mee as some of the other reviewers. It’s fairly typical inexpensive takeout quality Americanized Chinese food. I can see this being a popular option with UNE students. It’s okay but there are other Chinese restaurants in Biddeford and Saco that I like better.
I’d give it two and a half stars if I could, but the woman who took my order was really friendly. And she was always cleaning something in the kitchen when she wasn’t doing something else. That made me decide to round this up to three stars.

They deliver and are cheap. Not excellent Chinese but good for a student budget

May Mee is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Biddeford. The main reason is because their General Tso’s Chicken is so excellent. For some odd reason I love nothing more than to eat General Tso’s chicken while watching Survivor on CBS. But that’s neither here nor there, the dinner specials are all around $ 8 and include an egg roll (very good, not spectacular), a soup (the hot and sour is very good) and pork fried rice (good). Other menu items I and my lady friend have had are Szechuan Tofu (very good), General Tso’s Tofu (excellent), Broccoli and Beef (good), Jumbo Shrimp w/​Broccoli (very good). Also the Crab Rangoon are good.
However, I would only recommend take-​out, the décor and cleanliness leave a bit to be desired, but if you live a few blocks away like I do, it’s nicer to eat at home anyway!
