Everywhere I look online says they’re open until midnight but when I get to the store at 11:15 they’re closed…

You get what you pay for, I guess. I chose the Biddeford Walmart Tire and Lube because I needed a new set of tires and their prices for tires and installation were cheaper than any other facility I looked at. The plan seemed simple initially — I just had to purchase the tires through , then once the tires were delivered to the Biddeford store, I would drop off my car and they’d install the tires the same day. Well I made it to the drop-off part, but now I’ve been waiting in Walmart for an hour, in an attempt to simply pay for the tires and leave my car with them. The tire center website states that it opens st 7am. I arrived at 8am and was told by the technician that he couldn’t check me out and that I should instead go to the photo center to make the payment. The problem is that the photo center doesn’t open until 9am. After complaining that I needed to get to work, I found someone to process the payment. I then went back to the tire center to leave my keys, and the person there didn’t know where to look for my tires that had been delivered the day before, so I had to wait again until someone else could locate the tires and finalize the check out process. In the meantime, another patron arrived, stating that he had received new tires the day before and that his car was shaking badly as he was driving down the highway. Not a good sign. Maybe I should just take my new tires to a different shop for installation, but at this point I really need to get to work. So I’m leaving my car there and crossing my fingers. Bottom line — if you choose the Biddo Walmart for your next set of tires, plan plenty of time for their lack of organization and potential mishaps. If you’re willing to spend an extra hundred or more bucks, then go elsewhere to avoid the hassle.

Super rude jerks work there. But it’s Biddeford so you kind of expect it.

I have mixed feelings about the Walmart chain. Prices are usually low, but their employees get shafted when it comes to benefits. Their pharmacy has a nice list of $ 4.00 generic prescription drugs. The Relion brand belongs to Walmart and the quality of these products is very good and prices tend to be much lower than comparable big-brands. Walmart usually has lower prices than competitors on most non-exclusive products they sell. Walmart has a price-match policy. Their newest conditions now provide an e-certificate for the price difference which can be used on future purchases. This is not quite as nice as cash back, but if you are going to shop at Walmart again, it works out. Most of their staff is friendly and helpful.

We had to stop at Walmart to by some last minute items for our Maine get away, and decided to stop at this location. The store was organized, the shelves were well stocked, and the staff was nice.

Being jaded New Yorkers, we were pleasantly surprised by the helpfulness of the staff at the Biddeford Walmart — especially the Deli section. The gentlemen at the Deli section, who we remembered from our visit last year, told us in detail of some new products they were selling & invited us to sample. Kudos to Walmart’s HR for hiring such good people. Hang on to those Deli guys — we’ll be coming back soon!

«What we have now is a completely neurotic population OBSESSED with security, safety, crime, drugs, hygiene, cleanliness, and GERMS.» –George Carlin Are you an adult with all your motor skills? Ever been in a rush? Don’t even dream of it here. The self-important gung ho store employee who wants to justify her existence might see you hustling through the wide open path to the register with your toothpaste in hand and yell out, «no running in the store!» I bet she’s been waiting her whole life for that moment.

As far as Walmart’s go this one is pretty good. It is clean, well stocked and is a super center which means it is super huge with anything, anyone might ever want to buy. My only complain is their portrait studio. I actually don’t know if Walmart owns them or if they rent out space but I had an unusual experience I had here. A bearded lady took our pictures. She smelled really, really bad but hey maybe she doesn’t have running water. My sister and I wanted to take a photo for my parents for my parents so they could change out the one in their living room of us as awkward looking teenagers. So we told her what we wanted and she said you are«sisters» and winked at us. She then put us in super lovey dovey poses. We told her what we wanted and she said didn’t we want to portray the love we had for each other. No, not really. We are two adults in our late 20’s just looking to take a picture for the living room so my bleached blonde with braces picture goes away. She asked us how long we had been together and was convinced we where lesbians. Hey there is nothing wrong with lesbians but we look alike and are clearly sisters, so crazy Walmart photo lady stop being creepy.
