I stayed at one of their cabins this weekend and the cabin was really nice. It had a nice living room. Kitchen with microwave, stove, refrigerator, and sink. 2 restrooms and ½. It had two bedrooms but upon further investigating the house found out it had more beds and bunk beds! Up in the loft it had foosball table and a ping pong table. Also on the loft you have a nice little table which you can sit at and relax. In the loft you find a balcony with a good view of Big Bear Lake. My overall stay here was the best. The people were so nice even wrote a note saying«We hope you enjoy your stay» i found that very sweet. If you want a nice and affordable place to stay you might wanna stay here. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

For our 1st time visiting big bear lake. We loved it had a great time. And would definitely come back here to stay again. The kids loved the playground & we enjoyed the kayak & bike rentals. Service was awesome and courteous the whole weekend. Thank you very much cabins4less. I would preferably recommend to stay in these cabins.

My wife and I spend a lot of time in Big Bear. We normally stay at the Grey Squirrel and love it. Just for something different we thought we would try Cabins 4 less. We booked Lake side unit 52 for two nights, a Friday and Saturday in April. What a mistake. This place has no on site management and is by far the noisiest place we have ever stayed. It has paper thin walls. The unit next to us that was only supposed to have 4 people in it had 6 adult males in it that were up partying until 345 am on the first night yelling and being loud. The second afternoon we had a family in one of the other units letting their small kids run around the lot in front of our unit screaming at the top of their lungs. Why not, nobody there to stop them. Seeing what the second night was going to bring we called the office and told them we were leaving early. The only reply was Oh were sorry. I guess some people don’t follow the rules. We will never stay with Cabins 4 less again.

We were expecting rustic but clean. Instead we got primitive and filthy. Honestly, I have been more comfortable staying in a tent with an air bed and being able to take a short walk to a public restroom, than in this poor excuse for a cabin. The floors were filthy and the bed was atrociously uncomfortable. I am a six footer, and my feet were dangling the whole night, not to mention that the mattress was covered by an ill fitting, dirty plastic cover that bunched up under us. The sheets were not fitted either, so they pulled out at night too. The TV didn’t work, so when we called the office to get assistance, the employee tried to walk us through the steps, but became so frustrated that her simple explanations were not getting the desired results, that she hung up on us! Oh well, at least we had WIFI. Oh, and the heater worked very well. My belief is that with sleeping accommodations, the most important component is the bed. That’s why cheap hotels like Motel 6 and Super 8 have been in business so long. They ain’t fancy, but they have a comfortable bed and a clean comfortable room. If Cabins4less want to stay in business, they should follow that example.

This is one of those«get what you paid for» situations, but we don’t want to «get» anything from here anymore. This cabin is so sad it’s almost comical. The front door doesn’t lock, the heater doesn’t work, the bed is extremely uncomfortable, and the toilet paper is ½ ply. We’re fortunate enough to have been given a space heater but that’s does little against the plywood ceiling and freezing weather not to mention the blankets they provided do almost nothing. There’s no escape from the discomfort. The bed, the pillows, the blankets, the air seem to all be working against us in this little wooden box. To be fair we did get the cheapest one, but knowing what was in store for us, I would have forked out a little more money for something we could have actually gotten some sleep in and not be writing reviews at 4 a.m. Two stars because the staff are helpful and very nice.

Definitely know what to expect before booking a stay with Cabins For Less. We didn’t and we were really disappointed. We decided to go to Big Bear just a few hours before actually leaving and needed to find a place quickly that would accommodate our dog. Because of that, we didn’t do the research we normally would. These cabins are definitely CABINS and no frills at all. Not exactly the best place to stay for a romantic weekend. Plan to bring everything: your own toilet paper(they give you one roll that’s tissue paper thin), towels, and bedding. You can get towels and bedding from them for $ 5, but the towels are crazy rough and super tiny. The bedding is minimal(a few sheets and uncomfortable pillows) and you put it on the bed yourself. Seeing the stained bed protector totally freaked us out. Once we got over our OCD, we realized the place was clean, not crazy clean, but clean enough. The beds are crazy uncomfortable. That’s why I’ve been up all night writing Unilocal reviews. All their cabins range in niceness so definitely look through their pictures before booking. We got cabin 56 which seemed to be one of the nicer ones. It has a lake view which is really nice and is relatively spacious for a studio size cabin. The shower has pretty good water pressure. If your expectations are low and you’re just looking for a clean and affordable place to stay, this isn’t a bad choice. If you’re looking for a nice family cabin or a romantic little place, this isn’t it.

Stayed in a cute cabin for my birthday. Had a really nice view of the lake! The only downfall was there was a lot of construction going on during our visit and woke us up pretty early! However, I will use cabins4less again but in the winter time! Dog friendly, and check in and out was very easy! I recommend bringing your own towels, sheets and blankets!

I read around a lot before deciding on which cabin Co to go with. My Lil family was getting away for the weekend and we didn’t want to spend too much so our expectations of a perfect place where not present. I ended up going with cabins4less because 1. Their cost compared to others 2. There were no damn ridiculous cleaning costs 3. It’s location. When we got to the place it was about 8:30 am and check in was til 2pm but since the cabin was free they let us check in asap. Super kuddos for that. They let us know where our cabin was and when we got there it was exactly that a Lil wooden cabin. I didn’t like that they had piled up all the snow from the driveway right in front of our cabin made it look dirty. When I walked into the cabin it was so cold and smelled of gas. No bueno. I ended up opening up all the windows and started setting up our stuff. If you bring your own blankets, sheets, towels they don’t charge you extra to use theirs(although it’s only 5 bucks) but I just feel better using my own stuff anywhere I go. Anyhow after about an hr the smell went away got to close the windows turn on the heat and the place transformed into a super comfy spot. Although I wouldn’t rent this particular cabin again(cabin #3) I would definitely go through this company again. Keep in mind that these places are exactly what they claim cabins. If you are hoping for the comforts of a hotel then I suggest you look for one. FYI I wouldn’t rent this cabin again because it’s restroom. The toilet is tilted and the shower is prob like 3’x2’x7’. My bf is 6′+ and he was so uncomfortable showering in such a small spot. I’ve seen small showers but this one definitely tops it.

The greatest people I have ever worked with! Super friendly and caring! Very sweet and kept us updated on road conditions and activities. Cutest, little cozy cabin in big bear lake! Good size bed and great for a place to crash! A couple minor things but they definitely didn’t mind to come and fix it for us. Overall, would totally recommend and come back here again.

The cabin was not as expected. When you made the reservation you have to paid extra fee for bed sheets, towels and the coffee maker and bathroom cloud used some cleaning. Next time I would prefer to paid a little extra for better cabin. The cabin it is on great location on the middle of the Village, For location its the best.

Wonderful stay with great prices. Everyone was very friendly when we first arrived and on top of their business we were in our cabin with in 5 minutes, perfectly located just on the outskirts of town which is nice for a quiet stay. The cabin was cozy and well heated. But, it had a weird smell our whole stay and was pretty dirty, highly recommend bringing your own comforters and sheets, as well as toiletries. Definitely 100% will return.
