Little Green House

** EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND DISSATISFIED ** I ordered the ‘Make A Wish’ bouquet which promises “a summery mix of yellow daisy chrysanthemums, purple asters and red and orange carnations”. The photo on the website was bright and colourful and it reflected the recipient’s colourful and cheerful personality so seemed like the perfect choice. However, the bouquet that was sent was bland with only a few pale yellows and muted oranges… but mostly white daisies that dominated the arrangement at a cost of $55. I was extremely disappointed and contacted the florist by email, but have not had the courtesy of a response. Very dissatisfied and would definitely not use again.

Perfect! I had my wedding at Gold Mountain Manor on July 11^th, 2015. Liz was our florist and she simply blew it out of the park. All i did was show her my color pallet, what I wanted to spend and the style I liked. I’d seen what she’s done and loved it but didn’t really think of what to expect. They were above my expectations and so gorgeous. She brought my vision to life without much explanation and I couldn’t be happier with what she did. Very reasonably priced as well. Thank you so much! Perfect job!

Liz made my dream wedding a reality. She is wildly talented and truly listened to what I wanted. Her arrangements went above and beyond. I actually burst into tears of joy when I saw my bouquet. Even the bridesmaids bouquets were amazing! Also, I threw her a last-​minute curveball and gave her an additional item to fill on our sweetheart table and she just ran with it, and made it beyond gorgeous. Great talent, great service and great rates. All Big Bear brides-​to-​be should 100% call on Liz for their florals.

The flowers for our wedding were amazing! We gave the little green house florist recommended colors and showed them pictures of how we wanted our wedding to look, and when the flowers arrived it looked better than I could have imagined. Thank you for making our special day look beautiful!

What a wonderful Florist shop. Beautiful people and Gorgeous arrangements. They all take great pride in their work and are some of the friendliest ladies on the mountain.

We ordered all of our wedding flowers from Little Green House and we are so happy that we did! The bouquets, centerpieces, aisle decorations, corsages and gazebo flowers were all spectacular and exactly what we wanted. We didn’t give Liz a whole lot of direction but she was able to decipher exactly what we envisioned and the finishing result was better than we could have expected! She was very accommodating, helpful and creative! On top of this, she delivered the bouquets and corsages to two different suites around Big Bear and artfully arranged and displayed the gorgeous blooms at our wedding venue (Marina Resort)– IN THE POURING RAIN! They say rain on your wedding day is good luck; I don’t know about that but I do know that ordering your wedding flowers from Susan and Liz is the best decision you can make!

I ordered an arrangement of flowers for my mothers birthday, and was blown away by the genuine lady (Suzy) who answered the phone with a bright and charming welcome. She not only met all of my flower needs, but left me feeling overly satisfied with the amazing service and genuine attitude she provided. She was very sincere with her delivery and made my momma feel special. I will always order flowers for any occasion, and feel comfortable that this place is taking their presentation serious. Little Green House did my wedding party’s flowers as well as my bridal bouquet. My bouquet was breath taking. I could not have imagined a more beautiful bouquet. My bridesmaids bouquets were also what I was hoping for.
HOWEVER…
The boutonnières and corsages for our mothers and grandmothers were a HUGE disappointment. I do not love roses and that’s exactly what I got. When I explained that the flowers were not at all what I had ordered, a change was made. When the flowers were redelivered, I was again disappointed. Minutes before my wedding, I gave up the desire to ask for perfection and settled for the dainty daisies instead of what I ordered.
Liz, and the staff, were all very nice and easy to work with. The price was decent and delivery was convenient.

Little Green House did such an amazing job for our wedding! Our flowers were incredibly beautiful and absolutely perfect for the occasion. I know Liz corresponded a bunch with my bride and also met with us on a couple occasions, and she was always pleasant, patient and full of creative ideas. Thank you, Liz!

PERFECTION! The Little Green House was simply perfect for our wedding. I had met and spoken via phone and emailed with Liz many times before D day. (I kept changing my mind about colors) But she was a doll, she never got annoyed, she was happy to speak in great detail about what I wanted for my wedding. And when the day came– it was simply and most beautifully perfect in every way. I knew I didn’t have to worry. She knows exactly what she is doing and wow– I couldn’t have asked for more beautiful flowers. My bouquet– perfect! Every boutonnière and corsage– perfect! Not a single complaint. Liz was excellent and we are so lucky we chose to use her. God bless this place! I’d recommend this place to everyone getting married up in Big Bear. Heck, if you’re even close to the mountains– go here!

My girlfriend was starting a new job on Monday and I wanted to surprise her with a Stunning arrangement of roses. They are not open on Monday’s and asked if Saturday delivery would work. I explained that she did not start until Monday so since they are not open then to please deliver them on Tuesday. Nonetheless they attempted Saturday delivery unsuccessfully and delivered the now old flowers on Tuesday which lasted only a few days. For $ 160 I expected at least a 2 dozen SPECTACULAR arrangement, Very disappointing! If you don’t need delivery, go to Von’s or Stater Bros., you can get an Awesome arrangement for $ 40 to $ 50.

Stunning flowers!
I used little greenhouse for my wedding flowers in big bear this past Saturday, and the arrangements took my breath away!
I sent pictures to them of what I wanted, and I was prepared to have something close to the picture… Imagine my surprise when I see the centerpieces and my bouquet are the EXACT replicas of the pictures! They were gorgeous!!!
I let them have free reign for the bridesmaids bouquets, giving a general idea of what I liked, and they came back with beautiful arrangements that complemented their dressed perfectly!!!
I am so glad I went with little greenhouse for my wedding flowers!

Paula at the florist shop is extremely sweet and very helpful. I planned my wedding in Big Bear from Orange County which is 2 hours away so we had to discuss all the centerpieces and ceremony flowers by email. Paula always got back to me right away with any questions or concerns that I might had and she was extremely supportive towards me in the end right before my wedding took place when I had to switch rooms at my venue and change the style of my centerpieces. The flowers on my wedding day were PERFECT! They were exactly what I wanted, exactly what I pictured and everything I could have hoped for. They really made my wedding all the more beautiful and it was so nice to not have to worry about any of that on the most stressful day of my life. I’ve been to other friends weddings before where they will spend months planning out their flowers only to have something completely different given to them on the actual day but Paula stuck to her word, and did a fantastic job! On top of all of that their prices were incredibly affordable. My wedding was June 30^th so I chose wildflowers with sunflowers and curly willow branches and it was gorgeous. Thank you so much Paula I will never forget your shop and the great service you provided me!

Honestly, the flowers were gorgeous and I loved my centerpieces but I wish I had better customer service the day of my wedding. They made me a cake topper and did not deliver it with my flowers, although when I called to ask about it, the employee insisted they left it with my flowers and seemed irritated with my concern for it. I asked if she could please check her van just in case and she let out a big huff of breath (an irritated one at that with added ughh in it)) said hold on came back on the phone and said its not there I dont know what you want me to do I replied ummm ok and she said ok have a good day and hung up… Really? Wow. I was also missing a bouquet for one of my bridesmaids, the petals for my flower girl and my toss bouquet was made wrong also. Yes, I lived the flowers but the service no. to top it off I got an email a week later from the florist saying I owed them money still. No apology for the missing items I had to improvise for the day of my wedding. Wouldnt really recommend them I felt like I wasnt important on the most important day of my life.

I was shopping for antiques in Big Bear over the New Year’s weekend and stumbled on to this place. I had my doubts about what I would find in a florist shop, but was very pleasantly surprised at their good collection of glassware, pottery and china. Also some good artwork. I would recommend stopping by if you’re hunting for treasures in Big Bear.

I have a feeling that the «good» reviews have been written by the store itself. GO TO VONS. I was given a horrible, tiny, brown candle in fish bowl (not kidding) for a $ 80.00 christmas order. Went thru the FTD book with them so there was no excuse for the shabby, tiny, piece of junk that was handed to me. I’m a local (30 years) and too bad the only good flower shop closed. VONS WILL DO A BETTER JOB FOR YOU. RUN RUN RUN AWAY FROM HERE.

We just got married in Big Bear Oct 1^st and LOVED the flowers! I worked with Paula for about about one year trying to figure out what I wanted. She was patient and very helpful. We exchanged countless emails and phone calls and built a very nice relationship over the year. When the big day came it felt like I had a friend doing my flowers, I just knew she would do the perfect job. We got our pictures back and I have shown them to my family, friends and clients, some who were not able to attend. As soon as they see the flowers they pause and say wow! I loved your arrangements. Basically Paula is the best, she listens and won’t let you down!

I can not say enough good things about Little Green House! I got married in Big Bear this August and decided to use an online bulk flower service for my flowers. Several weeks before the wedding I stopped in at the Little Green House, thinking it might be a good idea to have a florist on hand in case something went awry with my bulk delivery. I spoke with Paula when I went in, and even though I wasn’t coming in to spend any money, she gave me a ton of free advice about how to care for my bulk flowers when they came in, what supplies I would need, and on and on. I was so impressed and grateful for her help, so when my flowers arrived from the online retailer and the full-​size sunflowers I ordered (the main flower for the wedding) were tiny and droopy, I knew just who to call!
Not only was Paula and the Little Green House able to provide me with AMAZING giant gorgeous sunflowers in 24 hours, she got them for me at an amazing cost, and even lent me three big buckets to transport them at. They saved my wedding, and I am so thankful to Paula and the entire staff!
Thank you, Little Green House! If you need flowers and you’re in the Big Bear area… go there. You won’t regret it!
