Red Baron Pizza

After long day of fun skiing and we were tired and hungry. We ordered salad, sub sandwich and mini size of pizza and we waited nearly one hour! The service were terrible! There were approximately four other tables waiting for their food too. The waitress didn’t even bother to check on us to see if we wanted more drinks or how we liked the food. NOTHING! They used microwave a lot! NO GOOD!

Pizza is way over priced!!! I would rather eat pizza from Big Bear Brewing company… At least the pizza their is affordable even though it’s a classier place. This pizza place cost way to much and they don’t ever have any specials

SURPRISINGLY KID FRIENDLY
My family and I peeked in here and saw the bar and was hesitant to go in. We had 5 kids with us and didn’t want to kill the adult vibe. But the staff working there gave us a big smile (take notes Chicago Hot Dog) and asked us to be seated.
Reasons why I will come here again:
— full bar and prices were great
— arcade game room was awesome for the kids. Allowed us grown ups to eat while they played
— girl server was very friendly
— food was decent.

I ordered delivery tonight. My order was completely messed up and all they said was let me check the cameras and we will call you back oh and dont touch the food!!! They were wanting to exchange the food which would have been ok if I was dining in, but I was at home and personally think this is just disgusting! Also over a hour and a half wait for delivery!!! I paid cash and have a good tip… Dont think I will be going back again!!!

We love Maggios but this is the place for kids and parents, full bar, fast service!!!

Slowest service for only mediocre food. If I waited 90 minutes and the food was great it would have been another story. Tastes like chuckle cheese and fast food.

So, my buddies and I went to Big Bear for the weekend and we stumbled upon this cool sports bar. But, it was not up to what we expected. The pasta was watered down. The dessert was cold. Not my gig, no.

Had a taste for Pizza.
It hit the spot. Didn’t give 5 stars because it is pricey but it is good. Had the Laurie, Yum!

Best pizza in big bear! I’ve gotten their pizza for years. And it’s my go to. Just recently went in and had a few beers and watched the World Series game, and they have a good environment to hang out and have some great pizza!
Keep it up guys!

First of all I was that rude customer that called at 925pm and called for a pickup (5mins before they close) Mikey gladly took my order he was great really helpful and had a great attitude… When my friend came in to get the pizza it was fresh and great. I don’t care what anyone says I work at a fast food place and Mikey had amazing customer service. Will come here every time I come to big bear

Pretty good pizza. I like the Laurie and the California but just make sure you ake for it «done» or it’ll be soggy. Expensive but best tasting pizza I’ve had here

Good pizza it is a little expensive but worth it the only other option is little ceasar which is just ok but it is cheap i would go here again as for the staff my husband ordered but im sure they’re friendly most people are in BigBear i do know he went 15 minutes after closing but they made the pizza anyway so that was really nice of them.

Really good pizza to have when in big bear. The antipasto salad is delicious. Wings do not have enough sauce so it taste like you are literally just eating baked chicken. Prices are a little high but pizza is worth it.
FYI they do not have stuffed crust pizza =(

So idk why all the complaints about bad customer service but my experience was not bad I was greeted with a smile and the server was attentive. We ordered 6 hot wings and a medium pizza. The wings weren’t too hot they had a good flavor but the chicken was not the best. The pizza was really good! Overall the experience was good compared to other restaurants around here they actually played music that didn’t put me to sleep, nothing against country music but it’s not for me. They have some games in the back and three big flat screen tvs so it’s a cool place to come and watch games.

Delivery took forever. I ordered the pizza bread and the jalapeño poppers both were gross. Seemed like they were both like a frozen food that was just thawed out. My boyfriend got a sandwich that he liked but was over priced for what it was. I usually go to Maggios but they don’t deliver and I will not be eating here again.

Worst experience ever they don’t even deserve a star. Foods mediocre and the service is absolutely horrible. The server was be rude and confrontational. Don’t waste your time or money go to saucy mama’s!

These people are thief’s. They have one price on the website, another when you order. They tried to charge me $ 35.00 for an individual pizza, small salad and drink… Really. They could not explain the over pricing.

I would give zero stars if possible. From the very moment we called and ordered the pizza the «manager» (if you can even call him that) was rude. We were quoted an hour for delivery, an hour and a half went by and the pizza was nowhere in sight
We called and they told us it would be there any moment, however 20 minutes later still nothing. We called again and after the manager was rude to my wife we decided to tell them forget about it and we would like them to reverse the charge on the credit card. He told us he wouldn’t, we told him we would challenge the card with our bank. He simply said «good luck» and hung up the phone.

The pizza is one of the best in Big Bear, but the service is one of the worst. They never seem to be prepared with staff for the big weekends. I ordered a pizza over the phone trying to save time. They told me that it would take 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes. When i arrived at exactly one hour and 10 minutes, they told me that it would be another 45 min. When I asked why, they said that it was «just that kind of weekend.» I then decided that i would just take the salad and forget the pizza. My family was hungry and i opted for a frozen pizza at the market. But then they told me that i had to wait 20 minutes for the salad. Seriously?
I have experienced this same kind of service SEVERAL times at Red Baron. It is really a shame. because I love their Pizza

If you guessed letter D, you are correct. My total was $ 77.16. As the girl gave me my total at the end of the call, I asked are there any specials or coupons, because that seems like an awful lot of money for only 3 pizzas. She said there were none. I should’ve just cancelled the order right then and there, but I let my emotions get in the way and felt like a jerk if I were to cancel… and my family was starving.
I’ll post the pics so you can decide for yourself. The XL resembles a large, and the large resembles a medium.
A couple other things to note. Delivery was estimated at an hour. But we were staying only point three (0.3) miles away from their location. I instead picked up the pizza because that was only a 20 minute estimate, and they gave me a $ 3.95 delivery refund.
If this review was simply a taste test. I would’ve gave 3 – 4 stars because the pizza was good.
