Closed for remodeling. Can’t wait for it to re-open. Roasted Cuban potion Saturday’s is the best!

Wonderful place for authentic Cuban homemade food. I love the plantains & the yuca fries, they are so awesome, totally melt in your mouth. I wish I live near by, I could try more dishes from them. Will come back again whenever I visit the Keys

Good, inexpensive home cooking. The wait was a little long but it was prime time for the breakfast crowd. The cuban coffee is awesome!

Nothing I would go out of my way to eat at. Prices are low, however, I wouldn’t mind paying more for better food. Not bad, not good.

Tasted Cuban mama’s cooking in this little hidden gem. It’s very touching and nostalgia to see the owner’s white-haired mama cooking in the back kitchen. The seasoned grilled pork is best ever as well as the fried yuca. Their fried shrimp is super huge and worth a try. We normally don’t like bean soup, but this one tastes just home cooking.

Great little family owned diner that has been around since the 60’s. Proprietor is incredibly nice and her mother is still cooking all day in the kitchen after decades. Had the special of shredded beef in a tomato sauce, side of plantains, side of fried yucca and special with tacos, burrito and quesadilla. All the food was great, service was even better. Can’t wait to come back when we return to the keys.

The food was good, but we waited over an hour for our breakfast to be served. Coffee is weak, decaf is served from a string bag, and food is served on styrofoam plates. Cheap & clean but not worth the wait.

We were hoping this place would be great, based on the reviews — not so much. The staff didn’t seem to have any idea there were customers at tables. We waited over an hour for our food to be served — I finally had to go up to the counter to put in our food order after the waitress did not return once she gave us our drinks. Unfortunately, the Cuban sandwiches were pretty blasé(I’ve had better in Michigan). The fried plantains were okay, not hot, but okay. The black beans and rice pretty much lacked flavor altogether. Wont be back for a second visit.

Went for breakfast and got an omelette and some Cuban toast. Staff was friendly, and the food was acceptable(although omelette was somewhat runny, but nothing to write home about. A fine place for a quick, cheap meal but not much more.

This place is FANTASTIC! It’s a mom and pops located next to Winn Dixie and Bealls. At first I was hesitant but honestly it was a great meal. I am SO full. I ordered the Palomilla. She suggested I have it breaded. I was unsure about it but I gave in. And I’m SO glad I did! The steak was perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, it was PERFECT. My friend ordered the Churrasco and it was DELISH. She always adds lime to her meat but this time she didn’t need to. It was THAT well done. I have 0 complaints about this place. Service was exceptional. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic small local restaurant. Friendly and efficient home-style cooking. Black beans and yellow rice, fried plantains, Cuban bread… mmm. I’m sort of bummed I didn’t know about this place long ago.

I would recommend Coco’s Kitchen if you are looking for a filling, home cooked breakfast! Fast and affordable.

A favorite for locals looking for something quick, delicious, and affordable. It’s not very big and the hours are a little wonky, but the staff is fun and friendly and the food is delicious. The black beans and rice are absolutely divine and the cheeseburger is enough for two people. Fries are great, salads good, and the kids loved the chicken fingers. Pay them a visit… quite good.

At Bahi Honda looking for restaurants in the area and found this gem. Small setting with BIG food! Went for dinner one day and breakfast the next, so we got to experience quite a bit. Dinner was a fat-fest! Conch fritters & Plantains to start. Then fifteen bean soup with Cuban bread and shrimp dinners with rice and beans. The shrimp were the biggest I have ever seen – and fried just right. The Plantains were the best I have had… not dietetic by far though! Everyone was great! Service from Rose was friendly – like she knew us. The next morning was Grits Bowl, Pancakes, bacon, sausage, Oatmeal, grilled cheese on Cuban bread. Again, great. Oatmeal was definitely homey and came with raisins, brown sugar and cinnamon. Hubby went through Grits Bowl without a word! Daughter and I loved the pancakes. Will definitely be going back he again on future trips!

I came here for a brunch before the closed for their afternoon(they reopen at night for dinner). I loved it. I actually was impressed on how great the burger tasted. I was more so, impressed with the atmosphere of Coco’s. :)

Very reasonable prices. Two hard working ladies run this place. Popular joint. Sat at the lunch counter. Had the Cuban mix sandwich and fried plantains. Everything was great, even the wife’s bacon cheeseburger. Recommended for a good inexpensive lunch.

Our family went in for breakfast while vacationing in the keys. The food was cooked to perfection, the Cuban toast was unbelievably good. The home made hot sauce was out of this world. For a family of five to eat breakfast it was $ 30. I’m talking eggs, toast, bacon, potatoes, coffee and OJ. 5 people. THIRTYBUCKS. Definitely returning to this gem.
