Great pub fare. Pizza was fantastic and service was good. Really reasonable prices and good portion sizes. Would certainly visit again.

first, great wait staff, food is really mediocare so a step down from just good — In it’s favor the food is cheap so I will give you that. I would agree it is a Townie kind of place — just wish the food was better

Visited this place the other night for dinner. Parking was a little tough, but after a few minutes and finding a spot we went in. We wondered where all the people were based on the number of cars out in the parking lots. Place was bright and clean and the hostess and waitress very friendly. We had ordered cheese fries and the app sampler, was a little disappointed in the sampler, the food was tasty but we felt that for $ 9.99 we should of received more than 2 mozzarella sticks, 2 chicken fingers and 2 potato skins. On to the main course, the burgers were ok, a little dried out but add ketchup and your fine. The chicken dinner was crispy and very good, a little small on the portion. The turkey tips were fatty but regular steak tips were good. I have to say that the cole slaw was the worst I have ever tasted. We would go back to try other things, the menu offered much.

First visit for me and my wife, second for my son and his wife. Not an excessively elegant place but clean, neat, comfortable and not too noisy.– just right for neighborhood bar & grill. Sorry I didn’t get the name of the young woman who served us. She was cheerful, courteous, friendly, helpful _and_attentive without being overbearing. And she didn’t try and take away plates from diners who had finished while others were still eating. I had the Greek salad minus the pepperoncini, minus the onions, plus extra olives.(No fuss about the menu mods.) My wife had the fish & chips with sweet potato fries. The kids both had mushroom swiss burgers ordered and delivered medium rare. We had only soft drinks. Bottom line: Great food, great service. We’re from pretty far out of town(Philly &VA) so a quick return is unlikely, but next time we’re in the area this place will definitely be on our agenda. (Minor addendum: setting sun coming in under the blinds was in my eyes. A staffer noticed this and adjusted the blinds without our having said anything to anyone. Yay!)

You want a burger to die for? This is the place! The staff, the owner attentive. Other restaurants should take lessons from them. It does get crowded at times(the locals know a good thing when they see it). A range of beers to satisfy most beer afficianados. Daily specials on the menu that my wife raves about… but when one finds a burger that is perfect… why bother with anything else? Life is good at the Newtowne Grill !

Could not find entrance for wheelchair ! In the years they have been there, they could have added an accessible entrance.

I have been to this place twice and both times I had a great experience. I ordered the Newtowne Classic Burger, which is the most basic one on the menu(lettuce, Tomato and Red Onion), and despite having a cold bun, it was excellent. Since it was 6 o’clock on a Sunday night, there were probably 15 people in the whole place, including in the bar, which is understandable. As a result, the wait was not very long and we were in and out by about an hour. The price is good as well, as our order totaled to $ 27 for 3 people. If you are in the area and want a spot that isn’t too crowded most of the time, try Newtowne.

The owner is the absolute worst. Treated me with zero respect. This place is a joke. Spend your money elsewhere where an owner can show respect to customers.

I’ve been quite hesisient on writing this review. I used to be a regular here. That was when the all around experience was phenomenal. Recently, I have noticed a rapid decrease in the experience. First off, the cleanliness of the place used to good. Now, it is just plain awful. All you can see is flies all over the place. A week ago, my Dad went for a beer with some buddies, and commented on the cleanliness himself. To quote him, he said the he will never drink tap(beer) again. He used to like tap(a lot). The steak I usually order for some reason would now come out raw(every time). The service is going downhill. Waiting for the check was a 25 minute ordeal. Anyway, take my opinion for what you will. I’m done ranting now. Pick your restaurant wisely.

I had a luncheon here for 24 people following my daughter’s Confirmation. I’m told functions are usually buffet style but I explained we had some folks with mobility issues and preferred sit down. Initially I spoke with Colby who was very friendly, very accommodating, and had a few helpful ideas of his own. We worked out a selected items of 8 entrée choices and chose some appetizers in advance(I like this order to go in as soon as guests arrive from church knowing that we’ll get held up with pictures). Soon after, Mike the owner became involved and was equally very helpful. We had use of the main dining room and tables were set up in two long rows. There was a small table in the corner with pitchers of soda, coffee service, plates, forks, and a cake knife and plenty of room for our cake(from La Cascia’s in Burlington), 2 homemade cookie trays, and gifts. All were covered in white tablecloths(I was asked if I wanted these in advance). I dropped of special printed menus from my home computer the day before(used the wording for the entrée choices from their menu, left off prices) and they were on each place setting when we arrived. When guests started arriving from church, they put in the appetizer order(in addition to orders of regular appetizers they cut 2 pizzas into appetizer pieces, their suggestion and such a hit a 3rd was later added), water, soda, and coffee already available. I arrived as appetizers started to come out and was greeted by Mike who had stopped by to make sure everything was all set for our arrival. Salad was served family-style and cups of soup or chowder for those that ordered them. Everyone’s entrees looked delicious from chicken parmigiana to lamb chops to country fried chicken. I had the scallop and shrimp fra diavolo and it was excellent, large scallops not the small bay scallops restaurants often use. Our waitstaff were quick, friendly, and accommodated any requests(thank you, Dan!). Total cost was reasonable considering the amount of food ordered and consumed. There was more than one doggie bag going home and they even put out containers near the cake so we could send some of that home as well. It was also convenient for this type of function because you just want something local for hungry folks after church service. The only things worth mentioning are the need for a better parking lot and if you have folks with mobility issues remind them to use the front entrance despite the couple of steps up, it enters right into the main dining room. Entering through the room with the bar leads to stairs to get to the main dining room. There are a couple of steps to the restrooms(which are right off the main dining room) but that is manageable for us.

Moved to billerica 4 years ago and this became one of our favorite place to eat! We love the atmosphere and always have good service! We never had a bad dish! I love the chicken broccoli ziti! The sauce is the best I have tasted! My fiancé loves the pizza and turkey tips! We always get salads too that are so yummy! Great drinks and the TVs are great for game days! Highly recommended!

Newtowne Grille is a great place to grab some food and drinks with your friends. They offer a variety of games(Keno, Scratch tickets, Poker) and have TV’s all over the main dining area. Booths also contain their own personal TV, which is great when watching a game. This location offers some weekly events; Wednesday is Karaōke, Thursday is Stump trivia and there is live music on Saturdays and Sundays. The main reason I love this place is that there is so much more to do here than eat and drink! There is no host at the front door, so seat yourself to any open table or booth. The bar is on the smaller side, so if you want a seat there you may want to arrive early. Food is good here, mainly pub fair but they have really good steak and turkey tips! Whatever marinade they use for the tips is super tasty and seasoned well. All of the appetizers and sandwiches I’ve had here in the past are very good, they also offer daily food specials. Drinks are great here, they do have a small selection of wine but do have a full bar and a large draft/bottle selection. Women’s bathrooms are super small to the point that you will slam the main door into the bathroom stall door if you push it too hard. Be careful when you open this door as you might hit someone. Obviously I can’t give you any information on the men’s bathroom but I can assume the same! There is a parking lot next door, I’ve never have had a problem.

Went on a packed Fridaybefore a holiday. We got immediate dining room seating, and fast happy service. My husband and I both got dinner specials that were 100% on point, despite it being extremely busy. Great drink selection.

My wife and I moved to Burlington recently and absolutely love this place. We go here at least once a week. They have incredible buffalo wings and we take out pizza from here all the time. The burgers are great, love the steak fries, great beer selection. Service is always great. We come here with our daughter and the waitresses absolutely love her. I have also come here with a couple buddies on a few occasions to watch the Pats game and it’s a great place to watch the game. I really can’t say enough nice things about this place. Food is excellent, service is great, good for families or just for hanging out. They have kareoke, trivia and live band nights. We will definitely be coming back here all the time.

I’m torn with this place. The food and drinks are really good at this bar establishment. The service behind the bar totally sucks! It’s actually only one lady that appears like she hates her job. It’s always a hassle to her when we asks for something and she always gets defensive. Besides that one bartender, the other staff members are nice. I love their changing drink specials on the black board. The happy hour food specials is probably the best in the area and the lunch specials are great, starting at $ 4.99. Can’t go wrong with a $ 4.99 burger and fries lunch! Get the wings and the pizza!
