Awesome place to stop en route or if you’re in the area. Nice sized lake that allows kayaking, SUPing, and fishing. Just be sure to wear your life jacket or else you will get fined. :) There is a path around the lake to walk, a playground area, a dog park(park at the launch area and walk .25 miles), and some shelters you can rent out. Also plenty of restrooms as well. So glad we stopped to SUP for an hour– the weather was absolutely perfect. $ 6 parking for out of state license plates and the park rangers do come by to check!
