Slow and messes up the order 9 out of 10 times. Whether it’s forgetting to give you a fork, straw or forgetting your biscuit they will find a way to mess it up every time. You have to carefully check every item before leaving. Make sure you received everything and make sure you got what you ordered. I’ve been given Cole slaw instead of red beans and rice before. For as long as you have to wait in the drive thru your order should be Hot, Fresh and right the first time

Way better than «that other chicken place». Never been disappointed other than the day the drink dispenser gave everyone grief. Guess it wanted to throw a fit and not work properly. Both management and staff did their best to «come to an agreement» with the unruly dispenser and get beverages to their patrons.

Although the food was good and the place was very clean, the staff seemed to be running around like chickens with their heads cut off (pardon the pun). My dad and I stopped in and wanted to get the MVP Bundle which was advertised on the menu screen. When we gave the cashier our order she seemed incredibly confused and after a few more minutes of confusion, the manager finally came out and said that deal wasn’t available until the next Monday. Why have it advertised if its not available? So after ordering something else, the cashier was still a bit confused by our order… A simple 12 piece meal with 2 sides, 6 biscuits included and and extra side added. Finally we got everything cleared up and waited 10 minutes for our take out meal. During that 10 minutes, I observed the staff and watched them run around, oblivious as to what was going on around them. They definitely need some help at this Popeye’s restaurant

I’ve loved Popeye’s chicken for many years in California, Nevada, and Arizona. What cracks me up about this one is they can only handle one order at a time in their drive-​thru. Now I’ve been here several times, as I said I’m a big fan, but it’s the same every time. Lunch or dinner, the drive-​thru line is always long. We even tried going inside once for dinner, but it still took an incredibly long time. My opinion is that they’re having trouble finding good employees, as that seems to be common in Billings right now. Maybe someday they’ll get it together. At least they’re still putting out good chicken!

From someone who has eaten Popeyes nationwide, this is as good as the Popeyes restaurants in Louisiana. They represent Louisiana quite well in Montana.

Honestly I like the food, it’s always good when we go and the people are friendly. The past 4 times we have gone there the dinning area has been dirty and the high chairs were all gross, I have had to wipe the table myself and the high chair for my child. The one time it was busy so it was understandable that it was a little dirty but the other times it was slow, which would have been a good time for someone to clean. I still like eating there but, would enjoy it more if I didn’t have to clean my own table and high chair off. I only gave 3 stars because of the dinning area.

A lot of hiccups still due to being new. The drive thru is incredibly slow so even if you’re getting food to go, walk inside to order.
You can ask for Louisiana Hot sauce they keep it behind the counter. Also, the Cajun Sparkle seasoning salt is delicious.
My favorite thing about this restaurant is you can order the Chicken Strips without breading. They call it ‘blackened’ as they fry it up in back with a lot of seasoning and it’s very good… and healthy. Three blackened strips only have 170 calories or so and very little fat. The only problem is it takes about 10 minutes for them to make them as they don’t keep them on hand. The good news is they’re always pipin’ hot and freshly made.
My favorite of the ‘sides’ is the red beans and rice. I enjoy it even more with a packet of the Louisiana hot sauce dumped in. My kids enjoy the fries and I’ve also had the mashed potatoes which are decent.
You also get to order a dippin’ sauce with each order. I’m particularly fond of Mardis Gras Mustard but the Blackened Ranch is also good.
The dining area has always been clean when I’ve gone in. A lot of employees are new and make mistakes so double check your order before you leave.

Great restaurant serving Cajun fast food. Really great value and only a few minutes walk from the Best Western Hotel.

I’m not sure what the hype is but I’m not as happy as I wish I could have been. I ordered mild chicken and they gave me spicy. The chicken was hot but super dry like it was waaaayyy over cooked. The biscuits were room temperature. I would most likely eat here again but only if it’s my last option.
