Decent. You can find what you are looking for but the store isn’t very modern and it’s too small.

I’ll preface this with I love Sears. I just don’t love this one. I bought several kitchen/home appliances here during a sale this year, and I found the sales people pushy, less than knowledgeable about their own products, and when I had to return a washer because the matching dryer they sold me wasn’t in stock, extremely rude. My first visit within 5 seconds, I was approached and then latched on to by salesman #1 who kept making inappropriate appliance recommendations even after I had a discussion about what I needed(36″ refrigerators just won’t fit in a 30″ space). It got so bad, that I finally had to walk away and say I’d be back. After Internet research, my second visit went smoother(with salesman #2) when I walked in, looked over a specific list of appliances, made my choices which took all of 20 minutes for 5 appliances. However, the actual sale took an hour since salesman #2 had no idea how to ring up merchandise on the cash register. My mother(who was with me this time and never complains) commented that the sales time was taking ‘extraordinarily long’. I though it was the salesman’s first day; I later came to find out this one had been there ‘years’. The delivery and installation of my appliances went very well. But I was not pleased to find that the matching ‘not in our warehouse’ dryer I bought was ‘completely sold out’ since it meant another trip to the Sears store since the company won’t return merchandise bought in store over the phone. On my third trip, salesman #3 immediately dropped me when I politely refused to buy another matching set or even just a non-matching dryer(I bought them on sale and now they were not on sale) and told me I had to see salesman #2 when he was here. On my last trip(and it will be my absolute last trip), salesman #2, who still couldn’t figure out how the cash register, stated that he couldn’t actually refund the money of the washer to me until ‘it was back in the warehouse’ per company policy, which is a bunch of malarkey since I’ve bought(and returned) Sears appliances in my lifetime(one within the last year in another state) and not once did I have to wait for a refund. There is still a $ 250 appliance service contract that was never refunded to me for the washer that I never got an clear answer as to why it couldn’t be refunded to me. I won’t accuse them of dishonesty, but this whole sale felt that way. And I’ve bought many many appliances from Sears. I will NEVER go back to this store. Anything I buy from Sears while living in Billings will be online from now on. Which is sad because Sears by far was the best place to peruse and view appliances before purchasing. BTW this was six months ago, and I’m just now doing the review since I wanted the irritation and the weirdness of the whole episode to wear off before writing.
