The décor is needing a update but the pizza is damn good. Just good flavor and thin crust. Not greasy like pizza hut. It’s a little pricey but the pizza is hot and good. I would go back. The inside looks like it did 20 years ago. I have never met the so-called crazy owner maybe the reviewer is a little crazy. who cares?

This was a hard choice for me, out of the six or so times I’ve been here, only twice has it been good. For one its exspensive, but why oh why does it look like I a tombstone pizza. Go to Pizza Hut. Scratch that, don’t go to Pizza Hut but I wouldn’t recommend village inn either. It’s either a hit or miss but usually a miss. And NEVER a home run. Sorry but I’ve given up on village inn. Sad day.

Nothing exciting and it’s kind of expensive. Dominoes or Pizza Hut tasted way better and half the price!

I’m done with this place. I’ve seen(what I believe are) cockroaches in the bathroom, found a fingernail in my pizza & the owner is certifiably psychotic. The way I’ve witnessed her treat customers is beyond belief. She should be medicated & definitely not work in this place. Been going to this place for 30 years, and I will never recommend nor will I ever step foot in this place ever again.

Love every aspect of Village Inn, from the classic interior and atmosphere to the amazing pizza. I hope they never change the look. Best pizza in billings!

Been going to VI since high school. Love this place and eat here once a month on average. Good pizza and funky building.

I make a point to come here every time I am in town. Everything about it is fantastic. 1.) Wonderful, thin-crusted pizza. The taco pizza is especially amazing 2.) The place looks like something out of Lord of the Rings. Which is fantastic(though I wish they had the fire going). 3.) Cheap pitchers of beer 4.) Right across the street from Club 90. May this glorious place never close.

When I first moved to Billings someone told me this place has the best pizza in town, so I was excited to try it. $ 30 later I had two pizzas that cost more than similarly sized frozen grocery store pizzas but tasted just like them. We ordered take out so were only inside for a minute, but it wasn’t an impressive place(it reminded me like a place one might see on an episode of Roseanne). In all, I’d never recommend this place to anyone – there are much better options in town.

This place is like stepping back in time. Well, all of Billings is like that to some extent but the Village Inn reminds me of a pizza place I went to as a kid. Sure, the décor is outdated, but that’s a part of the charm! The pizza is very good, we have had the thin crust only so far but plan to try the deep dish some day. The salad bar is hilarious in it’s lack of vegetables but if you like lettuce, cauliflower and mushroom salad then you are all set. Oh, and there are gigantic chucks of cucumbers on the salad bar as well, but it’s a bargain. We have only gone for dinner, haven’t been for the lunch buffet. We really like this place though. We live close enough to walk and will definitely be regulars.

This is still a dingy, dank, 70’s themed(only because that’s when the last update to the décor was) restaurant. But DAYUM that pizza pie is good! Skip the salad bar/buffet all you can eat bullcrap. Order a small pizza, get exactly what you want, and eat it piping hot! It’s the only way! YUM!

This is the kind of place that you’d think has awful food — and you’d be wrong. Yes, the interior leaves something to be desired, and yes, the windows make everything look dirty. But the pizza is just simply yummy. Look beyond appearances and have a slice and a beer.

I liked it, but I didn’t love it. Then again, I didn’t try the taco pizza. Maybe I’ll have a revision to my rating in the future. It’ll be on the list for another visit. The salad bar is pretty blah as far as choice of ingredients goes. Plain olé tired-looking iceberg lettuce and a few other veggies. The atmosphere definitely reminds me of pizza joints from back in the 80s. Fun times!

I am a pizza fan, I love Pizza and I know my pizza’s. I have reviewed LOTs of pizza places… here is Village Inn’s Story. Its awesome, its dang good, its wonderful, its the best damn pizza I have ever had… hands down. Ok, so you think, whatever, it cannot be that good. Try it, get a peperoni and a special, with a Village inn Sub… and be ready to feast! Then come back and get the best damn Taco pizza on the planet, WHATISWRONG with people. this place should be going crazy every day. ITISNOT Pizza Hut, ITISNOT a fast food chain, ITSISTHEREALDEAL. I moved to Texas… I am crazy, but yes, I HAVETHEMSHIPMEPIZZA: S. My one complaint, I have to get someone to ship them to me, Village inn wont do this, but then again they think I am crazy when we tell them why I am ordering 10 pizzas, to go, every month or so! Dry Ice is a Wonderful invention!
