Firehouse Subs

Okay, well I heard firehouse subs was supposed to be great. This one is not. I ordered their advertised special, I had never been here before and figured if it had posters everywhere that must be the one they would have right! Boy was I disappointed. I ordered the brisket and cheddar, the meat was very dry and I could not see nor taste any cheddar. The sub was dripping with the bbq sauce it was so overpowering that was all you could taste. The teenagers running the shop were more interested in talking with each other than in making sure the sub was made properly. I was the only customer in the shop at the time and believe me when I say I will never be accustomed in that shop again.
It is a shame really because the premise behind the shop and the support to our first responders is what first drew me there, and the recommendation. It is too bad that a badly run franchise will bring disfavor upon the name! I am a retired veteran and cannot in good conscience recommend this place. Please, if the owner or manager sees this, fix the problems there! The concept is good, your employees and product at this place is not up to the standards expected!

This place was good. First time eating here, and I think I’ll be back. The food tasted good, nothing too impressive though. The building was clean and tidy, and had a good theme. The workers were all friendly, and knowledgable of their sandwiches. Being that the building is a few miles from a large air force base, it was rather packed around lunch time.

This was only my 2^nd time eating at Firehouse Sub. Both of my experiences have been good. Upon walking in you are greeted by the energetic staff. They are quick to answer any questions you may have about the menu and will recommend their favorites.
This location is very clean. I like when you pay you have the option to round it up to the next dollar and the proceeds go to the firefighters fund.
I recommend Firehouse Subs.

My colleague and I went to Firehouse for lunch today. When we returned to our office, I saw that my sandwich order was not correct. I called and they wowed me with incredible service. The owner or manager (not sure which) brought me a new sandwich! With another pickle slice and a coupon for a free sandwich! Everyone makes mistakes, including businesses – it’s how a place (or person) corrects their mistakes that counts! And this was above and beyond.
Soy colleague had the New York steamer sub and lived it. I got the lower calorie turkey and cranberry and it was yummy. I really liked my cherry limeade.
Had my lunch been delivered by a group of hunky fire fighters driving over in their truck would have made this better! Hahaha!
Great service – seriously, above and beyond. Good food, with nice-​sized servings for the price. My colleague and I will definitely be going back.

Subs are way over priced. I had the brisket sub, so much grease the meat slid off the bun. My wife’s sandwich had to be made twice, the kept putting mayo on it and she asked not to put mayo on it. It took 20 mins to get sandwiches. Don’t waste your money, subway is better. Won’t be in business long if this is the best they can do.
Update my wife never got her sub. We had to get our money back. This place sucks…

Best hoagies on the coast. You can actually get a pastrami sandwich with brisket. Bread is soft and light and all made to order with a sliced dil to finish it off. They have a high speed soda machine that takes getting used to but all in all a great place.

Food is delicious! Service is much better now that they’ve worked out all the kinks! Just wish they offered a military discount like a lot of others in the area! This is a military community so a lot of service members eat here. Support your troops, Firehouse and keep making yummy subs!

Had the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket Sub and it was amazing!!! Just found one of my new favorite sub places =)

First time eating here today! Everything was average. I understand they just opened so there are kinks to work out. I must say everyone was very polite and pretty fast considering the circumstances of being new. I was disappointed with the amount of meat on the sandwich. It tasted more like bread and toppings. Also, I had way more meat on one side than the other. Food tasted hot and fresh though. My biggest complaint would be the lay out. First off it’s backwards. I had to figure out where to order and then figure out how do I get through all these people that were waiting on their food. I’m also still hungry. I’m never hungry after eating a sub from other places… I will try it one more time.
