Jimmy John’s

Horrible customer service and food is average at most. Why anyone would choose eating here over Firehouse Subs which is directly across the street, is beyond me. Last time I’ll make that mistake.

Came here to get a quick lunch with a friend. I would pick this place over subway. The people are nice and the sandwiches are delicious and quick! I walked in and walked out in about 5 minutes. If your in need for a quick hoagie this is the place to go.

I’ve always heard about Jimmy John’s but never had it since there were none close to where I lived on the West Coast. They recently opened maybe 2 (maybe 3) months ago.
So I walk in with a girlfriend of mine and here we are… staring up at the board with no clue in sight how this works or what we want. There are 3 types or styles of sandwiches. You can choose their sourdough roll– WHICH you can have the middle/​inside scooped out. Their sliced wheat, which is a thicker piece of sliced bread. Or their Unwich, which you can basically take any of their sandwiches and have it wrapped in lettuce.
I typically get their Beach Club Unwich, unless I’m feeling a little rebellious then I’ll have their sourdough roll with the insides scooped out. The Beach Club has Turkey, Lettuce, Tomato, Cucumber, Avocado spread, and provolone. I add EXTRA hot peppers, REG onions and EZ mayo!
You can customize it how you’d like it, they have a BUNCH of add-on’s. You can also get pickle halves, wholes, or quarters. They have a few different Jimmy John’s brand chips (Thinnys, Jalapenos, Salt & Vinnegar). This location does not have sprouts which is a bummer but not a huge deal.
Their online ordering is super easy and you can also customize your order to find the correct nutritional facts…(if you’re into that sort of thing… which I totally am, btdubz) THEY DO DELIVER within a certain mile radius. I time them each time from the moment I place the order to when they show up at my apartment! 20min to the dot every time. no more, no less! They are creatures of consistency and I HELLA appreciate that! They do not deliver to Keesler AFB, unfortunately. Word around town is that they’re going to build one in the vacant old Mc D’z building that’s right outside of base… but I’m not one to gossip…
