Food is great and the service is okay. Did I mention how good the food is!

On our way to New Orleans we stopped at the Beau Rivage casino for lunch. I was surprised the casino let under 21 travel through to get to the restaurants. Kudos to the management for being family oriented unlike #Harrahs in #NOLA. We had the ribs, brisket and mac n cheese and all was prepared well. The service was great and attentive. I would say its the best #BBQ but it’s pretty good coming from a casino eatery. If you’re on the gulf coast and want BBQ this place might be a good option.

Awesome! My wife and I ate here for the first time. I had seen it many times before but BBQ on the MS gulf coast. We always go to the Shed in Gautier, MS. But we decided to try it here tonight. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and my wife got the BBQ chicken sandwich. Both were fabulous. I got mine with sweet potato fries with marshmallow sauce and loved it! Our food was very moist and not dry at all. The service was awesome also. I heard the chef has been there for about 7 months. We got to meet her and she was polite enough to explain how they prepared the marshmallow sauce. We will definitely return.

Surprised to see the negative reviews. The prices are a bit pricy, but you’re at a casino and the food is good, so that should be expected. As far as food goes, the shrimp and grits and the crab cakes are amazing, the steaks are good, and the BBQ is pretty good too, especially the sausage. Everything I tried here was great. Only thing I didn’t care for is the BBQ sauce. It’s not bad, but I just prefer a different kind. The restaurant itself is pretty cool and the staff is great. Not the place to bring kids though. Full service bar too.

I LOVEBBQ, and was excited that on my stay at the Beau there would be a ‘top noch’ BBQ place to eat at while I was there. There were two of us, both of us got the Ribs, and both agreed they were cold and not tender. I was too hungry to wait on a new order while my buddy got another plate, which was improved, but still not worth the price. The ambiance is good here but I did not feel I got what I paid for.

ate here friday they were pretty busy cuz the casino had a poker tournament going on. i was impressed by the décor because it felt like an upscale bbq restaurant but was disappointed in the food cuz it looked tantalizing but fell short on taste. The complimentary bread and butter that comes to the table looks beautiful but didnt deliver on flavor. My sister had orderd the bbq nachos its supposed to come out with topped with meat but ours came out meatless so it had to be sent back. i think the crunchiness of the chips is what impressed me about that dish. The ribeye is massive for the reasonable price of $ 35 but could have used dashes of A1! The saving grace of my meal was the bbq beans and bbq sauce the shredded pork was pretty dry for my taste. i liked how you can get crabmeat a la cart as a side and the drinking jar for our refreshments. i will give this place another try and hope they improve.

Ordered a ribeye steak at this place and was disappointed. First of all, the grade of the meat is not up to par with the pricing of the steak($ 34). 2nd, the steak was cooked uneven. Some spots were well done, some spots were medium, like I ordered. Baked potato was hard as a rock and nearly inedible. Service was good, and Asst Manager was receptive to my complaints. The décor is cool, but the lighting is about as dark as a movie theater. 3rd rate food 1st rate prices Not a good mix. Not worth it. Try one of the other restaurants in the Beau.

Wow! We were pleasantly suprised with the food here. Both the ribs and the pork chop were delicious. You get a lot of food for the money The service was pretty good also. The only negative was the overpowering cigarette smoke smell, even in the non smoking section. The smell from the casino is very strong.

The ambiance was good and the food was out fast. The ribs were good and well seasoned but the BBQ sauce was awful. I tried all four, the spicy apple was kind of unique but the others tasted like weak ketchup. Unbelievable considering how expensive it was for BBQ. Don’t waste your money.

The barbecue is the dry rub Memphis style and it is great. The sausage and cheese plate appetizer is really good. I had the smoked chicken with mashed potatoes and would recommend.

This is the barbecue restaurant inside the Beau Rivage casino. Imagine the most fancy, hoity toity Q joint you can think of. That place then gets married to a fairly ritzy steakhouse. That’s pretty much the Memphis Q restaurant. The prices are typical of the Beau, out of sight expensive. We wound up here when the line at the pub next door was forever long. They feature dry rub Memphis-style ribs. I couldn’t pass these up. They serve baby backs, and a rack with sides is $ 24. Considering the markup on other things here, this really isn’t that terrible of a deal. A full rack of ribs in my stomping grounds isn’t much cheaper. The ribs they have here are HUGE. I’ve never seen a baby back with as much meat as these guys. Simply amazing. I can usually polish off a full rack when hungry. I couldn’t conquer this rack. The dry rub was pretty good. If you’ve ever had dry rub ribs, you’ll know they are not dry at all. The rub brings out the natural juices of the meat, and the flavor isn’t hidden by heavy sauces. The meat was flavorful, with a little bit of smokey flavor. My only complaint was that they were not tender enough. They would have been a lot better if they were allowed more time in the smoker. But the delicious flavor made up for problems with tenderness. My wife ordered an overpriced filet. It was tender and delicious, but probably not worth the pricetag. The side items with the ribs and filet were simply uninspiring. So to summarize… hoity toity Q, mega meat, mega prices.
