My husband and I went here and got the pu– pu platter for 4 and that was a meal itself. The ribs are very good. Ask for tommy for your server…

We eat hibachi style foods lot and this definitely ranks in the top 10. Our first night at the Beau Rivage we randomly chose this place. Upscale atmosphere but we felt totally comfortable in jeans. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was great. Overall very pleased.

I was able to get a table with out reservations the night before thanks giving. I got to try a variety of items here, and this is what we ordered… Beef brisket egg rolls– a good way to start off your meal. Didn’t have much of a unique flavor, tasted similar to a regular pork eggroll. Beef skewers sitting on kimchi– the meat tasted weird. It had a pungent smell to it. Mongolian beef– very thin slices beef. It tasted like beef that is served at a mall food court. Orange chicken-this had good flavor. Standard orange chicken, can’t go wrong in ordering this. Noir roll– the beef on top of the roll had a weird texture too it. At this point we were realizing that the meat here isn’t so great. Mi xao don– there was not enough of the vegetable sauce mixture on top of the fried noodles to break it down. It was very difficult to eat. Would I come back here to eat? Probably not. Not for the quality of food and price I paid. Not worth it at all.

We showed up about 15min before our reservation and were able to walk right in and get our table early. Our server was super attentive and even offered to take a picture of my mom and I instead of us failing at a selfie. We split the Pu Pu platter as an appetizer. Everything that comes on it is fabulous, but the crab rangoon were my favorite! We probably could have just had that plus another appetizer and been full, but we really wanted to try more stuff. Sushi was good– not the best that I’ve had, but it definitely met the need for fresh sushi(I had the bubble gum roll). My mother got the braised short ribs. They didn’t have tons of Asian flavor, and reminded me more of pot roast than anything. The fried rice that came with them, however, was phenomenal. We split the Chinese donuts for dessert. Our waiter compared them to beignets, but it was nothing more than a donut hole. They were good, but I was expecting maybe a little more extravagance for the price. Overall it was a great experience, but next time I will definitely sit on the steakhouse side so that I’m also paying for the entertainment of them cooking in front of me and hopefully(overall) have an even better food experience.

Hands down the best experience you will have in the Southeast. It’s far more than just the food — the staff is above and beyond expectation on every visit. The sushi chefs will create things to cater to your tastes and even allow you to explore new things based off your liking. The hibachi is outstanding — they have the entertainment portion during the preparation of the meal — but the food is incredible. Egg Drop Soup is AMAZING. I’m the pickiest eater on Unilocal — just look at my reviews. I have NEVER been upset dining here and anytime I’m in the area it’s my first place to dine. Do yourself a favor and stop in — you will have an amazing experience. I can’t compliment the staff and crew enough.

One of the nicer restaurants in the casino, and this was a great choice! There are hardly any vegetarian options in the casino, but this place was very accommodating and had more choices for us to choose from. Had the California roll(no crab) with soy paper and it was great! They also have a vegetarian roll on the menu. We also had the Pad Thai with Tofu(no chicken) and it was amazing! It is on the spicy side, so ask them to make it mild if you can’t handle spice. Dessert was the Tahitian Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée and it was decent. I would’ve liked it to be a bit warmer(temperature seemed like it was sitting out) and have more of a vanilla bean flavor. Hot Green tea was great! They use loose leaf tea instead of the bags, which is a plus! Loved the container it comes in so you can steep it as long as you want. Overall very impressed with this place, loved the décor as well and our server Ashton was super nice and very attentive!

Always a great experience every time I come here. The sushi is good but I prefer the hibachi. You can still order rolls at the hibachi table. For an appetizer I had the firecracker shrimp which were amazing. The hibachi meal comes with soup, salad, grilled vegetables, fried rice, and your choice of the main course. I usually get the salmon, which comes with a delicious white dipping sauce. Take my advice and make a reservation.

Terrible service. Took almost 30 minutes to get much acknowledgment. Food portions were small and so overpriced. No seasoning on wok choices. Not worth your money. Go next door to hard rock restaurants.

The food is pretty good and so our hibachi chef was pretty entertaining. The only problem was he didn’t show up until nearly an hour after we were seated. I realize it wasn’t his fault but rather the fact that the restaurant was understaffed, especially for a holiday weekend. Considering the prices you pay, this service is unacceptable. On a side note, what is with the prison style stainless steel toilets? Is that some new age style that I am just not aware of? That being said, it’s fun having drunken gals having cry sessions in both the male and female bathrooms(one stall each) so no one can get into the bathroom. Yay Biloxi!

Sushi was very good. Saki was delicious. It took us a while to be seated, despite reservations. And our appetizer came after our entrée. But, still. Cool atmosphere. Pricey. But nice for a special occasion.

I actually never got to try the food despite very much wanting to eat here. Why? Because once the hostess told us we could wait at the bar for a party of two, she promptly deserted us there. The bartender also knew we were waiting for a table since we were seated at the bar in front of her. After watching three groups(2 of a party of 4, one a party of 2) be seated even though they came in after us & bringing attention to our 30+ minute wait time as well, I left with my companion in disgust. This staff needs either replacement or redemption. There’s never an excuse for ignoring paying customers eager to patron your restaurant when competition is fierce. Skip it!

Jia is a «hidden gem» in the Beau Rivage. While the Terrace Café and The Buffet have long lines and wait times at normal dinner hours, you can pretty much be assured that you won’t have to wait to eat at Jia. Excellent service and open to customization of your meal… I had the steak tips, but was able to get them cooked in the Szechwan sauce to kick it up a notch on the flavor. Meat was cooked exactly as requested and the portion size was generous to ensure the value for the price paid.

Service was excellent. Our waitress and the kitchen staff delivered our food promptly and were not hovering. The food, however, was vastly overpriced, the portions were meagre, and the food itself aside from the egg roll, was no better than available off-the-menu at any Chinese restaurant anywhere else. Perhaps the restaurant serves something that is above the cut, but I can only base it on what we had. The egg roll appetizer was fairly decent — nothing spectacular, but better than that typically found in the run-of-the-mill restaurant. We had the Orange Chicken and the Szechuan Beef. The Orange Chicken was not crispy at all, rather flavorless, and could have come off a buffet. The Szechuan Beef had fresh ingredients, but despite the waitress’s caveat that it was«spicy», it was actually rather mild and boring. We were hoping for a treat but were disappointed and won’t go back. Still searching for good Asian food in the Biloxi area.

Had dinner here on a Friday night after driving all day. Place was packed so we sat at the sushi bar and got decent service. The tempura vegetables were decent but nothing special. I ordered the curry noodles and they were kinda weird and not what I had expected. I thought it was a little fancier of a place but then my entrée reminded me I was eating middle of the road casino food. YEASSEEAAHH!!!

Completely underwhelmed. I’ve been here a few times in the past and the experience was nothing to write home about but just fine. This time, not so much. First off, there was a hard piece of plastic in my salad. I understand this happens from time to time, even at a supposedly nicer place such as Jia… however for the server to not offer even a free drink or reduced dinner on a bill that was well over $ 700 before tip is inexcusable. Besides that complete mishap, the chicken lettuce rolls were actually very good and my filet was decent(I could have done without the sauces it was drowned in though). Would I return? I doubt it. There are other restaurants with the Casino such as Stalla which serves above average Italian food.

I love their Butterfish dish so much I planned our dinner here just so I could have it! The Mississippi roll was also my fav. Don’t skip desserts, they are delicious as well as beautifully plated. Very accommodating staff who took good care of us. Don’t miss it!

It has been awhile since I’ve been to JIA. We decided to go some where we haven’t been in a while. First thing that came in mind was BUTTERFISH! Flaky tender melt in your mouth like butter fish! WOW!!! Must try it! Bubblegum roll was delish! Scallop dynamite was incredible. Scallops sitting on top of a California roll was presented very well! Not but least the service was incredible! SCOTTYCU is who you want to make your experience only the BEST!

We sat at the hibachi. I agree with a former reviewer. It was the same song and dance show but he was nice. I got the steak and my husband got the rice. I also got the Atom Bomb roll. The food was extremely good. We ate everything. We were given great portions and were extremely full when we left. Yes it was a little overpriced but your eating at the Beau Rivage that was to be expected. We would definitely go back when staying here again. The servers were very attentive

I saw Jia had Phở soup on their menu so I had to stop by for my Phở fix. It was okay, nothing to write home about. The Phở needed more flavor and better quality of beef. Also had the chicken and shrimp fried rice, again, it was just okay. The service was fine, no complaints there.
