Cyber Café is one of a kind. Nowhere else can you find cheap, filling, healthy eats(plenty of vegetarian options) alongside dozens of coffees and beers. Come at 10AM or 10PM. Why not both?! Fun fact: It served a speakeasy during Prohibition.

Favorite coffee spot for my mom and me. Very good food and delicious vegetarian options! I absolutely love their coffees and lattes and their new speakeasy rewards card!

Delicious, fun, and everyone was so nice! We stopped in on our way to Cooperstown, based on other Unilocal reviews — and then stopped again on our way back because we enjoyed it so much!

Cyber Café West rocks. Great coffee, great food, great people, great laid back atmosphere. Want a sunny spot to read a book and sip tea? I recommend the tables and chairs by the big front window. In more of a quiet mood? Sofas in the side room! With friends? Try the board game area in the back, or the pool table upstairs! On the food side of things, the veggie chili is incredible, and the wraps(all served with a hunk of Gouda!) are to die for. The coffee is fresh and delicious, the pastries and desserts are even better, and everything is made right there in house. The beer selection varies seasonally, and I have yet to be disappointed by the selection. I have discovered so many new and amazing beers and ciders from local breweries via the taps here at Cyber! Evenings are filled with mostly free entertainment, with live music nearly every night, and trivia competitions and beer discounts on every other night. What’s not to love about this place? :-)

If you find yourself hungry, in a thunderstorm, and passing Binghamton NY simultaneously, this is a serviceable rest stop for beer(and they do have some good ones on tap) and a sandwich. My «hummus wrap» contained no hummus, according to my taste buds, so was more of a lettuce wrap. Mom’s portobello wrap was edible. Be sure you stick to the«women’s» bathroom(one person at a time so unisex), not the grungy men’s room.

Great food, great atmosphere! One of my favorite hangouts! They have many vegetarian options for food. Lots of great live music. And the ambiance is very chill. This is just a place where people can be who they are and you’re bound to make a friend if you’re just hanging out on the couches!

There’s something here for almost everyone. The food ranges from meals acceptable for the gluten-free and vegan weenies, to meat-head carnivores. There is a ton of great beer on tap and in bottles. The layout of the place makes it great. Yes, it’s an old building, but it has many different little nooks to check out. There’s plenty of seating for every occasion. If you have a large group meeting for dinner, a few friends gathered for coffee, or if you want to disappear off by yourself with a beer, you’ll find solace here. As far as entertainment goes, there’s music most every night of the week. 90% of the time, it’s absolutely free. There’s also the area’s best trivia every Monday night. Upstairs, you’ll find a pool table, and there’s a chess room in the back leading to the outdoor patio. This is not a restaurant, nor is this a bar. It’s not a coffee shop or a music venue, either. Cyber Café West is one of those places that becomes an extension of your home.

I’m usually not one to hang out at a café, but this is the perfect place to do it. In addition to arcade games and a stage, this place has an entire upstairs floor just for hanging, board games and billiards included. Quite a hipster place, tasty food like the Rabbi’s nightmare(bbq pulled pork with Mozzarella) and the 5th avenue(raspberry plus almond plus coffee), make for a greater experience. It feels grungy but inviting as well. A great place to hang out with a group of friends.

Disappointed. We saw all those stars and should have read the reviews more carefully. The good reviews seem to be written by a tribe of loyal followers are for a place to hang out and listen to music. When we visited we noticed most of the other patrons were getting a beer or a coffee, not food. Starting at the beginning, we chose this place because it was near Robot City and had vegetarian options in addition to the traditional bar food. The Café has counter service– order up front. They do indeed have a good beer selection, but the food was disappointing. The fried appetizers were all fine– the fried banana peppers were a particular hit with our table, but it’s clear they are not made on site. The wraps are HUGE– burrito sized. The sandwiches are modest. The salad was made with wilty greens and pink tomatoes and some nice cucumbers. The most disappointing entrée was my husband’s burger. It was so greasy that the bottom bun almost dissolved in grease. We couldn’t figure out why the hamburger was not warm. Was it just left to sit for a long time after it was cooked? Or are they warming up pre-cooked burgers? Given how fast a well-done burger came out, and the fact that it seemed to have painted-on grill marks we suspect the burgers are precooked and reheated. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was fine– the ciabatta bread was nicely toasted and fresh, and was the best part of my meal. The meat barely filled the bun, several bites had no meat in them. Odd, because my dining companion had the huge pulled pork wrap, which he could barely finish, and they cost roughly the same. We tasted our friend’s vegetarian chili and wondered if maybe it was made on site or locally? It had a distinctive flavor, kind of sweet. The food all seemed over priced considering that you order at a counter, and the sandwiches come only with chips. I expect more from a $ 9 sandwich. The most disappointing part was the slow service(again, I should have read the other reviews more carefully) My dining companions were completely done eating and a couple of us still had no food, so I asked our server if the rest of our order was coming soon. She said«It’s almost done… you all came in all at once.» We looked around the restaurant… there was literally no one else eating food at 5:00 on a Saturday. That means that having 7 diners completely overwhelmed the cook. It’s the kind of funky, dilapidated, stained, dirty, garage sale furniture, art on the wall, live music venue that I’m sure makes the loyal customers feel cool. Probably a great place to go with friends on a Saturday night, or to study at some afternoon. But if you are a hungry traveler that just wants sandwiches(or a clean bathroom) this place is not for you.

I’ve been to Cyber Café West for lunch a couple times and to listen to music many, many times … it is a delightful space and anything I have eaten there has been excellent … the veggie choices are great and the wraps very fresh with just enough crisp … I like the beer choices and have sampled around 10 of the vast selection … the music is always off the beaten path which keeps me goin’ back :) …

We’ve been coming here since, well, forever. Thrilled that they added a wonderful beer selection over the years. We always enjoy the food and atmosphere. Service is slow, generally, even waiting for a drink, but once we have beverages, waiting for food doesn’t bother me particularly as the space is great for hanging with a group of friends. If a band is playing(and you’re not there specifically to see them) go upstairs if you want to be able to talk with your group, or play board games — there are usually a handful of them floating around. Trivia is fun — definitely check it out. I always like the Greek Salad Wrap, and their melty sandwiches are tasty. They aren’t particularly generous with the corn chips on the side, but the smoked Gouda is a nice touch.

this place was perhaps the greatest little discovery I had made in awhile. my friend and I each had a different wrap and a beer. it had so much character and just a great feel. I will certainly drive up from Scranton just to have lunch. so worth it!

Decent place for grad students. Except the event times, you can easily find a corner to study. The wraps are yummy with a cheap price. There is a nice selection of drinks. The downside is somehow it always feels dusty & not so clean inside. & you might wait long because of self service system.

Reasonably priced, nice young crowd, and great food! Return return! Very friendly folks, with great spirit and my waitress was mmmhmmmmmm good… lol I liked their fast wifi and cold beer, in excellent draft varieties. It’s really a good thing they’re not closer to where I live… or if become a real fixture! They also have a small concert space we’re awesome local bands are supported regularly!

When living in Binghamton while in grad school this was my second home. Eclectic selection of homemade appetizers, sandwiches, salads, soups, and deserts — all organic, very vegetarian/vegan friendly. 22 beers on tap and 9 or 10 wines to choose from and their coffee is delicious. Chill atmosphere if you want to relax but there’s always something going on: team trivia on Mondays, open mike or karaōke on Tuesdays and live music Wed-Sat, including the house(jam) band Intermission on Thursdays. Some of the bigger acts on weekends attract a cover charge but I never saw it more than $ 10, $ 5 was more common and most shows are free. Stop in, grab a local beer, nosh on some veggie chili and catch a show when you’re in town, you won’t be disappointed.

A: Eclectic, laid back, artistic — creative juices inducing kind of place. Good to study, meditate, drink coffee and forget that outside the front door is Main Street Binghamton. I feel like I am in a college town coffee shop — Ithaca, Charlottesville, Blacksburg, Roanoke, Richmond. You get it? B: Affordable. Desserts are pricier than I would expect in comparison to the rest of the menu. C: I usually get a coffee — drink it too fast and then order an Italian cream soda or vice versa. Two drink girl when I go here. I think the coffee concoctions are better than(gasp) St*b$. Heehee. This last visit we tried the vegetarian chili with side salad and the nachos. the chili is worth the trip back. Most things vegged — you gotta wonder if you are gonna have to hunt for your next meal or throw salt on it to make cardboard palatable… but every now and then you get a veg dish and it makes you think you can give up bacon and come to the green side — this comes close; but oinky calls and I can’t turn my back. The chili is chunky, flavorful, memorable and you want to dunk stuff in it like corn bread, corn chips, your fingers… yeah…mmmm.

I came here with a friend for a light dinner. I ordered a side salad and sweet potato fries. The fries were good, the sauces were quite interesting. I had a wasabi/ranch based sauce, which was spicy. The fries had a tangy sauce but I wish the fries were HOT. For some reason it was not when I got them. My friend and I ordered a cookie for dessert. The cookies are HUGE and we were able to get it warmed up. Delicious. If I come back, I will probably just get a cappuccino because I hear that is their speciality. There was a live band playing that was cool.

Food was pretty good, but the guy who waited on me was a bit of a d!*k. I ordered nachos without cheese — and he just made a face, questioned my order, and then kinda made jokes about it. Psst… not everyone wants cheese. Price was a bit more steep than I would’ve liked, but I expected that from the area. Eh. Wouldn’t go back if I were in the area.
