Gaslamp Gym

I’ve been going here since September and couldn’t be happier with Gaslamp. Brian is the manager/​owner who pops in regularly and is always friendly and asking if there’s anything I need; he always makes himself available by phone/​text and is quick to get back to me if I need to ask him something. The gym is unstaffed and 24-​hour, so I’m able to come whenever to fit around my schedule. It’s probably the cleanest gym I have ever seen and it’s very safe and right in the center of downtown. It’s a compact space, but has nearly every piece of equipment you would want, fresh towels, 2 private bathrooms and 2 private showers, and locker space you can buy. It’s always a good, quiet environment in Gaslamp and I have never seen it with too many people inside at once. All the equipment is new and well-​maintained. The only downside to the gym honestly is the parking in downtown Binghamton. If you’re there between 8am-​6pm on a weekday the parking is only 30-​minutes out front, but at night or early morning I’ve almost always been able to find a spot right in front for free; there’s also the downtown parking garage just around the corner and down the street. If you’re looking for a gym in Binghamton, definitely contact Brian and set up a time to check it out. It’s only $ 5 to stop in for a day if you’re just visiting for the weekend.

I’m from Los Angeles, the capital of nice gyms. This place could give LA gyms a run for their money! Brian, the manager/​owner, is super helpful and the gym is BEYOND clean. The equipment looks brand new and super organized. If I am here again on business, I am coming back and I fully recommend this place to anyone in the area. The atmosphere is amazing and I am super thankful to find this place.

I’ve been working out here for 2 months now and my overall experience has been great. The gym is extremely clean, always smells nice and looks fancy. My only grumble is that there is no bench press only a rail assisted bench press and no sqat rack (youd use the same machine to do squats). If you live near downtown and don’t have a car this place is a no brainer. A friend vissited me from home and I brought him as a guest. He was impressed and couldn’t stop talking about how nice it looked. If you’re looking for a gym around the tri city area make sure this place is on your list.

It’s convenient, clean and very reasonable. They have everything I need, and Brian is so friendly. I recommend it highly.

Brian who works here is such a great help. This is a great gym to get a great workout in.
