Soggy square shaped slices. Sauce was so so, tasted like microwaved ellios pizza. I got a sampler; the onion rings were very soggy, fries were okay, mozz sticks were good but the marinara was ice cold, and the garlic wings were boneless and tasted more like breading than chicken. Staff was friendly and price was affordable, but the food just wasn’t for me.

I’m from Detroit and I was in Binghamton for hockey and I stopped by this place and it reminded me why I like pizza so much.

Home of the Sheet-za. One thing I like finding out by accident when I visit towns are the local delicacies. Yes, I know it’s pizza, but the culture around the whole«sheet-za» thing was apparent at several parties we attended in Binghamton. This pizza is great. It’s not the greatest pizza I’ve ever had, but it’s original, the toppings are plentiful, sauce and crust is great for what it is. I would eat here regularly if I ordered pizza in Binghamton. Note: If you were looking for traditional«New York Style Pizza», this is not it. We got the pizza to go. We were feeding kids while we attended a wedding. They have a «by the slice» option, and I noticed they were in trays. When I was asked if I wanted a half-sheet or whole-sheet, I opted for«whole-sheet». I was surprised when it was nearly $ 30, but whatever, vacation. We decided to walk around instead of stand and wait for our pizza. We found a Dollar General around the corner and bought some flimsy aluminum foil for $ 1, figuring we could wrap the pizza and store leftovers in the hotel fridge. Good thing. The«whole-sheet» was as big as 2 of the trays in the by-the-slice rack. We were able to snack on this pizza over the next two days, so I’m not complaining.

The atmosphere of this place has recently renovated because of the Ellis Bros fire that took place and wow I was in a huge shock. As I entered the atmosphere of nirchis increased ten fold and was very classy. I then ordered pizza and was delighted by the taste. Crispy crust yet very good distribution of sauce and cheese which meant for a chewy saucy crispy slice. Aside from the taste I did find hair in the pizza YIKES. And at that moment I realized that the employees don’t wear hairnets or uniforms The bottom line is that if your looking modern atmosphere then visit Nirchis(beware of hair) and you won’t be disappointed.

haha i love reading the reviews from out of town people for nirchis. i grew up with this stuff and for the most part it still holds up. their regular tomato sauced slices are good once in a while, but its something i could easily get sick of. i used to love their pepperoni, it would get crisp and curl up and i loved it, but i think they changed over to a different kind, and not just this location, the one on the parkway too. i can never get sick of their white pizza with chicken on it though. the regular spiedie or the honey mustard is great, and so are the BBQ and buffalo slices, especially after they add bacon and ranch. they make a good breakfast pizza here too, and their garlic knots are good as well. the people they’ve had working here recently have all been very nice and friendly and the place looks really nice since they remodeled after the ellis brothers fire. i’m kind of amazed there isn’t another pizza place open in the heart of downtown, but for now this place holds it down

This pizza is phenomenal! I am originally from Upstate NY and whenever I go home I visit one of the Nirchi’s locations. We stopped there twice and each time the pizza was made to order and fresh! Slight mistake on my last order though… Requested a Chef’s salad but received a garden green salad instead. Would definitely return!

Definitely one of my least favorite Nirchi’s locations. The menu is super limited and the salads etc. aren’t make fresh like at the other ones. It’s conveniently located if you live downtown, but for now I’m going to continue going to the Vestal Parkway one.

Having grown up on New York City style pizza downstate, I am particularly picky when it comes to pizza. That being said, I was not a fan of the small square style pizza that you’ll find at Nirchi’s, even though they have quite a selection(including a local favorite, chicken spiedie pizza).

Not for me. The pepperoni and ham slice is okay.

This locally started Pizza chain is fantastic. Having moved away from there over many yrs ago I still dream about it. Their sauce is the best sauce I’ve ever had on Pizza and the cheese mix they use has a very unique and fantastic taste. The pizza isn’t exactly thin, NY style but it’s also not thick like Chicago style. Pizzas come in squares, order the Chicken Spiedie pizza and the regular plain pizza. For best results try some of their buffalo wings as well.
