You’ve got a lot of spots in the Lancaster County area where you could spend your discretionary dollars on mini golf if you’re so inclined. Maybe at one point in time Waters Edge was one of the better places to play at but sadly what it’s become is at best a second tier course that should probably only be played with a Groupon. The first issue here is simply what does it cost? That information apparently is a state secret as their website doesn’t list, their FB page doesn’t list it and while you can come close if you do the math based on their Groupon, when you factor in adult prices versus kids prices you’re still left not having a clear answer. The prices are listed inside the clubhouse where you get your balls/clubs but because I had a Groupon I really wasn’t paying attention. The second issue is that did you know that they actually have two courses? Neither did I until we got there because again, their website says nothing about that! Why all the secrets? Why not be a little more transparent? I don’t remember the name of the course we played at. All I know is that it’s the one to the right of the clubhouse with the water wheel. That course is not too hard but at the same time it’s in rough shape in spots. The carpets overall are worn and thin with several chip and putt-esque divot chunks taken out in spots plus the one hole has to have the worst looking patch job ever with a piece of new carpet put between/over the old carpet and it’s not even cut to fit the hole. It’s just sort of draped over everything. We didn’t partake in anything after the golf although they do offer a full line of Turkey Hill products. I’m glad we went as we had driven by this course for years but without the Groupon I would have been annoyed to have paid full price for mini golf where clearly the powers that be are kind of letting this place ride into oblivion. Sure it’s costs more but much better golf can be had in the area at Village Green, Lost Treasure or Caddy Shack.

I have been to this course many times; however, Labor Day weekend 2014, was the first time I have been to this course in several years. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in this experience. What used to be a gem in the middle of several gems in the Lancaster, PA area for mini-golf has kind of turned sour. Lancaster, PA is known for about 4 to 5 mini golf places that keep far above average courses. Unfortunately, Waters Edge is quickly letting things slip away. Things are starting to fall into a state of disrepair. I probably would choose to go back to some other courses in the area, including Professor Hackers or Village Greens.

Great place, beautifully kept. They have 2 courses and I have done both and like them both. Its quiet and off the main areas which is nice. I plan on going again and again. Just bring the bug spray! Lots of well maintained plants and trees keeps the buggies happy!

This is a great place to play mini golf. They have two courses to choose from and a really cute nautical theme. I love that in the summer they have misting machines that blow cool air on you so you don’t overheat while waiting your turn! Look for coupons, they always have some out there.
