Okay, I’m updating to report that all turned out well. The office manager, Melissa, is a sweetheart! She was able to contact the original doctor I saw, Dr. Dodd. Dr. Dodd is great! But the doctor that I had to follow up with was not. However, they (Melissa & Dr. Dodd) changed my prescriptions. I’m doing better.
The downside is that sometimes you may run across a doctor who refuses to deal with his colleagues’ patients. But when you are in a practice with multiple doctors, you have to be willing to work together. If this certain guy didn’t want to correct my prescriptions, he shouldn’t have given a silly referral. That was just dumb. All in all, American Family Care is a decent place with professionals. The lady doctor my husband saw last year was fabulous. Now, we just know which doctors to see and who not to see.
